We sat down, via phone call, with a grade school teacher in South Central Los Angeles, Alyssa Scofield, a friend of Tiege's from Laker Girls. She told us about the pros and cons of opening schools in the fall for her students.
Thomas Serena is a surgical resident in a hospital outside of Detroit who's been on the front lines of the pandemic since it began. He shares with Tiege, who's a childhood friend, how his life has changed since COVID entered his hospital.
