Prosecutors in the Brian Walshe murder trial are trying to prove first-degree murder without a body, without a murder weapon, and without a definitive cause of death. Ana Walshe has never been found. What the Commonwealth does have is a digital trail that reads like a step-by-step guide to getting away with murder — and a defendant who stood to collect $2.7 million in life insurance if his wife died. The internet searches are the backbone of the prosecution's case, and they are brutal. According to testimony from Massachusetts State Police Trooper Nicholas Guarino, the searches began at 4:52 a.m. on January 1, 2023 — just hours after the couple celebrated New Year's Eve with a friend. That first search: "Best way to dispose of a body." By 4:55 a.m., Walshe had moved on to "How long before a body starts to smell." Over the next several days, the searches continued: "How long does DNA last." "Hacksaw best tool for dismembering." "Can you be charged with murder without a body." "Can you identify a body with broken teeth." He even researched Patrick Kearney — a serial killer known as the "trash bag killer." Prosecutors also have motive. Ana Walshe had taken out $2.7 million in life insurance policies naming her husband as the sole beneficiary. And according to the prosecution, Brian Walshe knew his wife was having an affair with William Fastow, a Washington D.C. real estate broker who sold Ana the townhouse she owned there. Prosecutors say Walshe's phone searched Fastow's name on Christmas Day — less than a week before Ana disappeared. In this episode, former prosecutor Eric Faddis breaks down the strength of the Commonwealth's case. We discuss how prosecutors prove premeditation through circumstantial evidence, whether the internet searches are as damning as they appear, and what the defense can do to poke holes in the timeline. Eric also explains the challenges of no-body murder cases and what the conviction rates actually look like. The prosecution may not have Ana Walshe's remains, but they're betting they have enough to put her husband away for life. #BrianWalshe #BrianWalsheTrial #AnaWalshe #ProsecutionCase #GoogleSearches #LifeInsuranceMurder #NoBodyMurderCase #CircumstantialEvidence #EricFaddis #TrueCrime #MurderTrial #WilliamFastow #AffairMotive #Hacksaw #Dismemberment #FirstDegreeMurder #Premeditation #MassachusettsTrial #CriminalJustice #TrueCrimePodcast Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Today is the 600th episode of the Sean Spicer Show! We are so grateful to this community we've built and all the daily watchers and listeners of the show. Please continue to share the show with your friends and family as we head into the new year to cross new milestones. The Christmas season is upon us in Washington D.C. as President Trump and First Lady Melania had the tree lighting ceremony last night. The Tennessee special election was a victory for Republicans but they are still missing the mark on messaging. Robert Cahaly wants Republicans PACs and the RNC to advertise where the donors are. Sporting events, recent Thanksgiving day need to have Republicans messages reaching average Americans that aren't tuned into the podcast and internet culture and debates. The fight is not only against Democrats but all of the corporate media outlets. President Trump has made great strides in restoring America's prosperity but most Americans are still struggling. The rest of the part needs to step up and join his message that if we can just hang on we will see jobs, tax breaks and prosperity back in our own pockets. Now is the time to take action on the expiring ACA subsidies or risk losing the midterm elections to Democrats. Andrew Walworth, Tom Bevan, and Carl Cannon discuss today's FIFA event at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, where President Donald Trump received the first ever FIFA Peace Prize. Also, Trump has renamed the U.S. Peace Institute after himself, and used it as the venue for yesterday's signing of a peace accord between The Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda. Then, RCP White House correspondent Phil Wegmann joins Andrew Walworth, Tom Bevan, and Carl Cannon to discuss the arrest of the alleged Jan. 6, 2021 pipe-bombing suspect, and what the arrest means for FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino. Also a look at new economic numbers on inflation released this morning, and their implications for next week's Federal Reserve vote on interest rates, scheduled for December 10th. Then finally, they discuss yesterday's Supreme Court's decision on redistricting in Texas. The Court blocked a lower court decision that found the new boundaries were likely unconstitutional because they were drawn based on race, allowing Texas to adopt the congressional map designed by the GOP in the upcoming 2026 midterms. On today's episode, we discuss the arrest of the January 6 pipe bomber. Key topics include what was most likely: Whether he was acting alone or as part of a conspiracy. If a conspiracy, who was designated to benefit from it. We also covered the the different reasons it took so long to identify and arrest him, noting that it was unlikely the case could not have been solved sooner given the extensive surveillance devices that cover all of Washington D.C. Don't miss it!
This solo episode explores the quiet places where anorexia meets identity and expression. Dr. Marianne Miller speaks to the lived moments where someone learns to hide parts of themselves and how restriction becomes a language for survival. She examines how identity formation, self-expression, and body-based fear interact in ways that often remain hidden. The episode centers queer, trans, gender-expansive, and questioning listeners along with anyone who has felt pressure to quiet their identity in order to navigate the world. Dr. Marianne describes how anorexia rises when identity feels unsafe, unrecognized, or tightly controlled. She explains how restriction becomes a strategy to manage visibility, vulnerability, dysphoria, and the cultural pressure to stay small. The episode invites listeners to imagine recovery as a process of expanding expression, reclaiming autonomy, and restoring connection to their authentic self. Key Themes in This Episode Dr. Marianne examines the links between anorexia, identity, and self-expression. She describes how gender expectations and cultural norms shape the body story. She explains how queer and trans people often restrict to soften dysphoria or to quiet unwanted attention. She explores the way over-performance and people-pleasing silence authentic expression and strengthen restrictive behavior. She looks at the sensory landscape of anorexia and describes how neurodivergent experiences influence embodiment and identity. She also highlights the role of intersectionality. Race, culture, queerness, disability, and body size shape how someone expresses themself and how safe that expression feels. These intersections help explain why anorexia often becomes a predictable response to environments that restrict identity or punish authenticity. Why This Episode Matters Mainstream conversations about anorexia often focus on food without addressing identity, expression, and cultural pressure. Many listeners learn early that their identity takes up too much space. Many learn that desire, gender expression, and emotional truth need to stay hidden. This episode challenges the idea that anorexia develops inside a vacuum. Instead, it shows how anorexia forms inside relationships, systems, and environments that silence real expression. The episode offers validation for anyone who felt forced to shrink in order to stay safe. It expands the understanding of anorexia so listeners can see their experiences reflected with accuracy, compassion, and liberation. Who This Episode Supports This episode supports listeners who navigate anorexia while holding queer, trans, or gender-expansive identities. It supports people who experience identity suppression or dysphoria and who use restriction to manage that conflict. It supports neurodivergent listeners whose sensory experiences shape their relationship with their body and their identity. It also supports clinicians, loved ones, and community members who want a more accurate and compassionate understanding of anorexia. Resources Mentioned Liberation-based healing models Trauma-informed care Queer embodiment research Neurodivergent eating disorder literature Content Caution This episode discusses anorexia, restrictive eating, identity conflict, gender dysphoria, sexuality, sensory overwhelm, and the lived experience of shrinking to stay safe. Please listen with care and pause whenever your body needs space. Jacob Sager Weinstein, comedy writer for Dennis Miller and author of How to Remember Everything, shares how growing up in privileged Washington DC where the vice president's daughter was in his debate club gave him confidence to walk into any room but delayed his understanding that not everyone has equal access to opportunity until he reached Princeton. Weinstein reveals how writing for Dennis Miller taught him to find the Venn diagram between his voice and another's—a skill that translated perfectly to children's books where kids have the same BS detector for mechanical writing. He makes the case for memory in an information-saturated world: you cannot synthesize facts Google knows, only facts you know, which is why students must memorize foundational knowledge before creating something new. Weinstein introduces the memory palace method for turning hard-to-remember abstract information into easy-to-remember visual locations and explains the curve of forgetting where 75 percent of information vanishes within 24 hours unless you use spaced repetition to stretch retention from days to weeks to permanent memory. There are no shortage of scandals plaguing Washington D.C. right now. One that has captivated much of the political and media professions involves Olivia Nuzzi, a political writer formerly of the magazine New York, and now an editor with Vanity Fair, who was involved in a relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during the 2024 campaign. Nuzzi's relationship has provided incredible fodder for the press, not least because her ex-fiance, Ryan Lizza, has penned a multi-part series on the matter where he has unspooled numerous accusations against her and RFK Jr., in anticipation of the publication of Nuzzi's book, American Canto, which was released Tuesday. Those accusations are quite serious, many of which Nuzzi addresses in her book, including an admission that she secretly aided RFK Jr.'s campaign. The more important ones, however, deal with RFK Jr. himself, including the charge that he has hid drug use and was both manipulative of and threatening to Nuzzi during their relationship. Nuzzi has not discussed any of it on camera. Until now. In a sit down interview with Tim Miller, she talked about the ethical breaches that cost her her job, the conflict between her responsibilities as a reporter, the private relationship that blurred those boundaries, and the fear and isolation she experienced as the scandal unfolded. She describes withdrawing from the world, fleeing across the country, and trying to rebuild her sense of self while contending with public shaming and, what she saw as, the “weaponization” of her personal life against her. She also offers some insights and revelations regarding the now Health and Human Service secretary, who has denied the relationship. She and Tim discuss her relationship with RFK Jr. and the wreckage that followed, whether he continues to use drugs while occupying a cabinet post, what type of threats she felt, and why she didn't feel compelled to speak up as it became clear that Kennedy was ascending to remarkable heights of political power. They also discuss the broader political moment that shaped all of it: the Trump era's constant tug between reality and spectacle, the corrosion of public trust, and the ways journalists become characters in the dramas they cover. And they broach one of the more understated questions throughout this entire, sordid ordeal: why even bother writing this book to begin with? Nuzzi explains that writing was an act of survival and the clarity that came from separating herself from Washington, D.C.'s rituals and delusions. Along the way, she says, she became further entrenched in the delusions she was hoping to escape. show notes Buy American Canto by Olivia Nuzzi

Bessent says White House may ‘veto’ Federal Reserve presidents Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Wednesday he would push a new requirement that the Federal Reserve’s regional bank presidents live in their districts for at least three years before taking office, a move that could give the White House more power over the independent agency. Bessent said that “there is a disconnect with the framing of the Federal Reserve” and added that, “unless someone has lived in their district for three years, we’re going to veto them.” Source: msn.com https://twitter.com/KobeissiLetter/status/1995954684859941373?s=20 In a July 2025 interview, Hassett highlighted the Fed’s origins under the gold standard in 1913 to critique current practices: “When the Federal Reserve was created, we were under the Gold Standard—and the idea that the Fed could print money and then spend $2.5B on a building… I think that we’ve got a real problem of oversight and excess spending.” This aligns with sound money ideals, where gold symbolizes disciplined, non-inflationary currency, but he stops short of calling for reinstatement. Monetary economist Judy Shelton (author of Good as Gold) praised Hassett in July 2025 for referencing the gold standard, noting it as a reminder that “Fed has a lot to answer for” in deviating from that era’s stability. Hassett views Bitcoin as “digital gold” for its scarcity and hedge qualities—echoing sound money without physical backing. The plan was simple on paper – use immobilized Russian funds as collateral for loans to keep Ukraine afloat. But Belgium is the custodian of the largest chunk of those assets. If something goes wrong, they're the ones holding the radioactive bag. This isn't some bureaucratic squabble. It's the EU's financing strategy cracking in real time. Prévot's pushback signals the core fear: If Europe touches Russian state money without watertight legal armor, Moscow retaliates – economically, diplomatically, and possibly through countersanctions on European firms. And here's the thing: the Commission thought it had majority backing. Belgium saying “nope” on the morning of rollout is a political body-slam. Happening next? The EU will scramble to rewrite the legal plumbing. Germany and France will pressure Belgium quietly – nobody wants to admit the plan is wobbling. Russia will weaponize the hesitation as proof the West can't agree on how to bankroll Ukraine. And Kyiv? Still waiting for the money that was supposed to be “already there.” Another example of Europe discovering that seizing assets is easy. Using them? That's where the real war begins. Ursula von der Leyen did not state that she received “permission” from the US to seize Russian assets. In a recent appearance at the GLOBSEC forum, she said that she informed the incoming Trump administration (specifically mentioning a conversation with Treasury Secretary nominee Scott Bessent) about the EU’s proposal to use frozen Russian assets as collateral for a “reparations loan” to Ukraine, and that “it was positively received.” https://twitter.com/briefing_block_/status/1996241939931201801?s=20 https://twitter.com/Dubinsky_pro/status/1996242036417028176?s=20 regime. Now the system is falling apart. Yermak is out. The crackdown is collapsing. Ukraine must release all political prisoners. I call on everyone involved in peace talks to demand this from Zelensky. These people committed no crimes. They were jailed for their faith, political views and demanding peace. Zelensky built a dictatorship – and filled prisons with dissent. No official reason was given, but the message is clear: there's no deal, yet. Putin's warning didn't help. He said Russia is “ready” for war in Europe and claimed any future conflict would be so fierce that “nobody will be left to negotiate with.” This setback casts doubt on whether a negotiated end to the war is possible anytime soon. It also suggests Kyiv isn't ready to engage on Moscow's terms. That restriction followed an executive order from President Donald Trump against recognizing transgenderism claims in the federal government. The claim being made by Mittereder is that the policy violates federal civil rights law. According to the report on the recently filed lawsuit, Mittereder began working at the TSA in 2024 and now is stationed at Dulles International Airport in Virginia. This collaboration brought us together and still holds the promise of lowering insurance premiums.” Paul noted the plan failed because Democrat AGs fought it in court, but it could now pass through Congress. Here’s why this matters: the current system forces individuals to buy insurance alone, giving them zero bargaining power against massive insurance companies. Association Health Plans let people band together through retailers or organizations to negotiate as a group, the same way large corporations do for their employees. More buyers in a pool means more leverage. More leverage means lower premiums. It costs nothing to implement and simply changes labor law. Competition works. Let Americans shop for insurance the same way they shop for everything else. https://twitter.com/EliseStefanik/status/1995856738994565416?s=20 Raskin against Trump Republicans to block this provision to protect the deep state. The new leadership team has produced dramatic results which we will produce for you, in detail, as the year wraps up. They will include a historic drop in the homicide rate, along with record disruptions, arrests and drug interdictions. Many of these personnel changes have upset a group of Comey-Wray era disgruntled former agents who prefer the old ways of operating. We are not going back -We have been working on an AI project to assist our investigators and analysts in the national security space. I received an update yesterday and I am happy to report that the product looks promising. More coming on this. – We are in the end stages of a redesign of the FBI crisis management process. The redesign is intended to make information more accessible and transparent in a crisis to enable quick and effective decision making. The project should be complete by the end of the calendar year. -We saved the taxpayers billions of dollars by scrapping the plan for an expensive new FBI headquarters building. We will be moving to the existing Reagan building after decades of fruitless haggling as the current FBI headquarters building crumbles. -We relocated over a thousand headquarters based personnel out of the Washington DC area and into the field to focus on violent crime, crimes against children, and terrorism. Those agents are now working on the mission in those regional offices. -In recognition of the growing threat, and in conjunction with the President's Executive Order, we designed, launched and completed the FBI's first-ever counter-drone school last month. Special thanks to Sebastian Gorka and DDCOS Regan for their help on the project. -The work force apprehended 4 of the FBI's 10 most wanted fugitives, and we are hunting down the rest. -We produced unprecedented disclosures, and took action on documents related to January 6, Crossfire Hurricane, Arctic Frost, and more. -The new leadership team, and the work force, made a series of ANTIFA related arrests in multiple states and assisted in record numbers of deportations and apprehensions. -Some of the culture changes we implemented include eliminating DEI, reforming the physical fitness test, making promotions contingent on real world results, severing ties with the SPLC and ADL, and implementing a new training curriculum to reflect current mission requirements. We dedicated significant personnel and financial assets to streamlining FOIA reform to ensure responsiveness. -We shut down multiple open air drug markets nationwide and, in conjunction with the White House, had 12 fentanyl precursors from China listed. -We created CIO and CTO positions to work with the CFO to find efficiencies and implement new technologies to assist in our mission. We conduct bi-weekly meetings and we have found and eliminated tens of millions of dollars in duplicative contracts, unnecessary real estate, and outdated technology. These are real savings to the taxpayer and each budget dollar allocated is intensely scrutinized for value. -We vastly expanded the overseas biometrics program to stop bad actors before they board a plane or vessel to the US. This gives us the ability to expand the border outwards and prevent the problems from coming here. -We are in the end stages of a reform project on our intelligence analysis positions to make them more responsive to current mission needs. We have been working with the field on this and we're happy with the progress. -We implemented a technology working group to ensure our technology tools evolve with the mission. Thank you, and God bless America and all those who defend Her. https://twitter.com/WhiteHouse/status/1995992366553981026?s=20 (function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:13499335648425062,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-7164-1323"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.customads.co/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");
Washington is full of both. Yesterday, Stigall was on Capitol Hill talking with the former. Members of the House's Republican Study Committee. Their objective was to message to you that first, they have an agenda they believe is working and two, they're not done. It's ultimately up to you if you like what you hear or not. We'll have bonus content coming later in the week featuring even more members who didn't make it today's show. Today, you'll hear Rep. Tom Emmer go OFF on his governor Tim Walz, Rep. Eric Burlison with a real idea to fix Obamacare, and Rep. August Pfluger of Texas explains what the RSC is all about. Plus, are Crisis Pregnancy Centers targets of New Jersey government? Sure seems that way and it seems like that what Justice Clarence Thomas thought. Hear his aggressive line of question directed at New Jersey's Attorney General's office, and Carrie Severino of the Judicial Network explains the case in full. Plus, the governor of West Virginia updates us on the health of the surviving Guardsman and the two grieving families in his state after they were ambushed by a terrorist on the streets of Washington D.C. And can you believe - of all places - they're still mandating the stupid shot for school kids?! -For more info visit the official website: https://chrisstigall.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/chrisstigallshow/Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChrisStigallFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/chris.stigall/Listen on Spotify: https://tinyurl.com/StigallPodListen on Apple Podcasts: https://bit.ly/StigallShowSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This week is the anniversary of two events which define the State in the U.S., both in the past and today. In 1969, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Chicago Police Dept. assassinated Black Panther leader Fred Hampton and his associate Mark Clark while they slept in Hampton's home. Hampton had been an up and coming, inspiring, leader in the Chicago community and worked to build coalition with a variety of groups in the area. The FBI had viewed Hampton as a potential “messiah,” who needed to be “neutralized.” When the COINTELPRO program was exposed, it was clear that the FBI had worked to eliminate domestic enemies like Hampton and the Black Panther Party. In 1980, the rape and murder of four Catholic missionary nuns by U.S. backed death squads sparked international outrage and criticism of President Carter's support for the government in El Salvador. Carter initially suspended aid to the regime, he later reinstated it, and President Reagan continued this support. Later in the 1990s, when documents were declassified revealing the extent to which the U.S. support torture and terror campaigns, former NJ congressman Robert Torricelli said that it was "now clear that while the Reagan Administration was certifying human rights progress in El Salvador they knew the terrible truth that the Salvadoran military was engaged in a widespread campaign of terror and torture".Despite a history of these events, the movement continues. As Hampton said, "You can jail a revolutionary, but you can't jail the revolution."In 2025, the Trump administration is sending ICE to terrorize undocumented people in communities across the country, designating dissidents as "terrorists" and provoking war with Venezuela. We also just recently witnessed "blowback" from Salvadoran style death squads in Afghanistan with the shooting of national guard solders in Washington D.C. Here's an encore of our episode from 2020 discussing the terrible events. Much to learn from this history. ---------------------------

The folks at Fox News thought they were going to have an easy time with holiday programming last week with stories about pajama wearing travelers, Thanksgiving leftover tips and pre-taped shows filled with recycled segments. In between the holiday fluff the network put most of its focus on segments bashing Democrats, worshiping President Trump and what it called the “Seditious Six.”By mid-day Wednesday the on-air talent at Fox News immediately pivoted to cover a targeted domestic terrorist attack on National Guard troops in Washington D.C.Nearly every talking head at the network immediately blamed Democratic lawmakers for the violence even though there was no evidence that the shooter, an Afghan national, was motivated by left of center politics.Fox News was so lazy in its coverage of the tragedy that the network included a pre-taped episode of The Five for Thanksgiving that made no mention of the attack. That evening it re-aired The Patriot Awards, a Fox Nation special, in place of its regularly scheduled primetime lineup.I was expecting at least episodes of Fox News Live, the breaking news show for the network but the Fox stuck to its original plan for the holiday and decided to only air episodes that included live news coverage mid-day and late night on Thanksgiving. This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit decodingfoxnews.substack.com/subscribe
Did a Gavin Newsom wildlife management directive lead to January's Palisades fire? A recently unearthed document provides the clearest evidence yet of the governor's culpability. Jennifer Horn joins us with the shocking details on that story, along with the latest financial data on healthcare for illegal immigrants. Then, with Tim Walz's state of Minnesota being bombarded with allegations of welfare fraud, it's important to remember that the corruption in California is even more rampant. State Controller candidate Herb Morgan joins us to explain why and to demand an audit of the state's social services. And in the wake of the horrific murder of a National Guard member in Washington DC, we examine the United States' asylum process and the importance of protecting American values.

When the industry demands boxes, what happens to the artists who don't fit inside them?As the electronic music world accelerates and algorithms dictate the spotlight, what does it really take to succeed in the artistic mission? Recorded live at Amsterdam Dance Event, this special episode dives into the emotional, spiritual, and structural realities of life as a modern artist with Enamour - one of the most musically dexterous and introspective voices in the scene today.Rooted in decades of musicianship and shaped by Washington D.C.'s underground, Enamour has earned support across Rose Avenue, Anjunadeep, Abracadabra, and beyond. DC Shooting, Afghan Veteran, and the Threat of Blue on Green Attacks — John Batchelor, Bill Roggio — The Washington DC tragedy, allegedly perpetrated by Afghan national Ramanula Lakenwal, is examined as a possible "blue on green" attack pattern. Lakenwal served as a veteran of the Afghan National Army Special Unit, potentially associated with CIA-backed Zero units operating covert counterterrorism missions. Roggio and Batchelor raise critical concerns regarding the vetting procedures for Afghan nationals and the potential political motivation of the attack given its proximity to the White House, suggesting possible ideological rather than criminal motivation. 1878 AFHANISTAN
