We have a way of sharing and voicing everything that we love, everything that we worship, everything that we do, everything that we treasure but never take the time to freely acknowledge how Good the Lord Almighty has been

Should I have any thoughts of misery when I am feeling content in my growth in Christ? I should be rejoicing at the very thought of Living In Christ, should any negativity even cross my mind?

I wanted so bad to see the recognition of Man and be put on the pedestal to be recognized and get a pat on my back (Pride), that I was not seeing that who I needed to Please and Who mattered most to Love and Abide and Give Glory, Honor and Praise to was, the one that was using me. The one who was by me the entire time, but I was stuck on my own Pride to recognize or acknowledge what God was trying to do in me.

The gift that was given to me besides my amazing two boys, was my wife. I chased after her for two years in high school before she gave in and devoted her love to me. During our early years together, it was hard for us to be together. Our lives together from day one was difficult and challenging, but I know now that God was in it the entire time. He put together a couple who now cannot live apart. When I get a text message on my way to work saying, “I miss you already.” Or when I get a text message at work from my wife telling me How much she misses me. When I won’t eat lunch at work because I want to make sure if she hasn’t eaten breakfast or lunch, that she at least has dinner and we can eat together every day.

Friends have divided over it. Marriages have been strained by it. Fights have been started over it. Some have even been killed by it. The “it” is a fanatical dedication to a sports team. It is often said that college football in the South is more like religion than sport. Yet worldwide you will find passionate fans of many sports teams who cheer their name, wear the colors, and sing the fight song. The sports field is a great place to find camaraderie and entertainment. Individuals, teams, and games are a wonderful source of inspirational stories, quotes, and illustrations. Even the apostle Paul used boxing and running to illustrate Christian principles.

If you struggle with anything rather is an illness, a sickness, a birth defect, a struggle, anything that you feel makes you weak, that makes you question, "God, why me?" Believe me, there is a reason and He never meant for it to be a punishment, to destroy us, to hurt us, instead he did it because he knew it was going to be the only way that we would truly surrender and believe that he will conquer it all and that, "There is power, in the Name of Jesus," and that from that will comes: joy, happiness, trust, love, healing and most importantly Hope. Be Shameless in feeling defeated if it's God you are trying to battle, the only difference is that it's a great defeat with a wonderful reward, God is Love and that is your reward.

If Jesus Christ can forgive and yet continue to Love, those who did Him wrong, how are we any better to hold grudges, Anger and show tempers? We honor God when we resolve conflict rather it’s in our Marriage or just quarrels with others in general, we Honor Him when we settle it without any regrets. If I can prove to myself that I can show a little bit of Christ in my life, if I can do something out of the ordinary where my wife, family or anyone else can see my reaction and see Jesus Christ in me, then I have truly allowed Jesus to take a hold of the matter and have shown to others as well as myself that I am truly living In Christ. This is what I am and was called to do, not live for or of self but to live in, with and through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Light of My, your, our World.

I felt I was a nobody, that I was worthless, that I am nothing. That I would never be good enough; that I could never measure up to my family, my friends, my old classmates, co-workers and even former co-workers. Everyone around me is living better, happier, and amazing lives; they are well in-doubt and living peacefully. I would and could never Measure up.

Sharing your testimony with others is a must for all Christians. When giving your testimony you tell how you came to trust in Christ alone as your Lord and Savior. You tell how God opened your eyes on how you were a sinner in need of a Savior. We are sharing with others different events leading up to our salvation and how God has worked in our lives to bring us to repentance. Testimony is a form of praise and honor to Christ.  On September 25, 2018, I was asked to come to Harvest Bible Chapel Hope Group and share a Testimony to the New Hope Group regarding how Hope Group helped to bring me close to Jesus Christ. How Christ changed me and used me in Hope Group to become a New Creation. It was my first time speaking in a group, especially among strangers; and my first time telling a group of people about my sinful life. It was this Testimony that encouraged this writing here that you are about to read.

Surrendering all to God means that I am not just admitting to it all but that I no-longer must or will battle this on my own. I was weak, I was lost and now through Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, I am found. I cry out to you, Lord Jesus Christ;

Chapter 3. I was desperate. I was depressed, miserable, lost, living in Shame and this was my only and last cry out to God or anyone to save me from it all, my last cry out for Hope. I wasn’t thinking straight, I was suffering medically from depression, bi-polar was taking over me and stress was killing me. I was miserable, and I needed saving, again, I needed Hope... This topic of Shame is part of my future plans of book writing which actually led to starting this Podcast. This topic of Shame was the first chapter and is part of the inspiration of "The Latter Times of being Crazy FC". Here you will here about my personal struggles and suffering with and through Shame. Is it a good thing when people acknowledge your walk, growth, faith and your passion for God? I often wonder about those who know me really well. Do they see me different? Do they accept my Faith? Do they believe that I am a New Creation in Jesus Christ? Here you will hear about Recognition. Is it important to get a pat on the back when you are trying to be a Christ follower.
