Gary Dodson — better known as “Bumper” — tells the uncensored story of his transformation from a violent white supremacist skinhead and federal prison gang member to a man who ultimately walked away from hate and extremism. Raised in a chaotic, drug-filled household in rural California, Bumper gravitated toward gangs, violence, and racist ideology at a young age. What began as rebellion turned into full-blown immersion in neo-Nazi skinhead culture, leading to robberies, stabbings, riots, and eventually a federal hate-crime and arson case tied to Molotov cocktails. Bumper spent over a decade inside some of the most dangerous level-four federal prisons in the United States, including USP McCreary and USP Victorville, where racial politics, stabbings, and brutal “smash-outs” were a daily reality. In this interview, he breaks down: • How he was recruited into the skinhead movement • The inner politics of white supremacist prison gangs • The psychology behind hate, identity, and belonging • What daily life is really like in violent federal penitentiaries • How he slowly abandoned racist ideology • What finally made him choose a different path This is a raw, unfiltered look inside extremist subcultures, prison survival, and the possibility of change. Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
The prosecution laid out their case. Now the defense has to tear it apart. Michael McKee pleaded not guilty to the aggravated murders of Monique Tepe and Spencer Tepe. His attorneys are now preparing for the pretrial battles that could determine whether a jury ever hears the most damaging evidence against him.Defense attorney and former prosecutor Eric Faddis walks us through the defense's likely strategy. McKee waived his bail hearing—Eric explains why that's a calculated move, not a surrender. The real fight happens in motions. The affidavit includes allegations that McKee strangled Monique and forced unwanted sex on her during the marriage—abuse that was never reported to police or prosecuted. Eric breaks down the motion to exclude that testimony as prejudicial and unproven, and whether it has a realistic chance of succeeding. Then there's the hearsay problem. Witnesses say Monique told them McKee threatened to kill her, said he'd find her and buy the house next door, said she'd "always be his wife." But Monique is dead. The defense will argue those statements can't come in. Eric explains what exceptions might apply and how hard that fight will be.We also examine how the defense might reframe the cell phone going dark—the prosecution calls it consciousness of guilt, but what's the innocent explanation? How do you explain surveillance footage showing your client at the property three weeks before the murders? And if the vehicle evidence seems overwhelming, can the defense separate McKee from the car?If acquittal isn't on the table, what does a defense "win" look like?#MichaelMcKee #MoniqueTepe #SpencerTepe #DefensePlaybook #HearsayFight #ReasonableDoubt #CriminalDefense #HiddenKillers #MurderTrial #OhioMurderJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Tune in here to this Wednesday's edition of the Brett Winterble Show! Brett kicks off the program by talking about personal responsibility and parental accountability in a culture that increasingly looks to corporations and government to do the job of adults. He challenges the idea that social media companies should bear the blame for kids’ behavior online, arguing that moms and dads—not courts or tech platforms—are ultimately responsible for policing what happens in their own homes. Later Brett dives into the escalating political fight over ICE enforcement as Senate Democrats flirt with a shutdown strategy to force reforms. He reacts to a new polling memo urging Democrats to “play hardball,” questioning both the timing and the sincerity of the effort. Brett argues that calls to reform ICE ring hollow from a party he says can’t even pass a budget, let alone overhaul federal enforcement agencies. He zeroes in on public safety, pointing to violent crimes committed by illegal immigrants and asking why local and state leaders refuse to cooperate with federal authorities when voters overwhelmingly say they want the law enforced. Listen here for all of this and more on The Brett Winterble Show! For more from Brett Winterble checSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Beni Rae Harmony was a trusted WICS NewsChannel 20 anchor in Springfield, Illinois, until one broadcast changed everything. Days after Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was killed at an Utah Valley University event, Harmony closed a newscast with an emotional tribute she called “non-partisan,” rooted in personal loss, not politics.Station leadership suspended her for violating editorial policy, and Harmony says she was pressured to walk it back. Instead, she resigned publicly in a viral post, arguing she was being punished not for mocking a tragedy, but for honoring it, and framing her exit as a choice between career security and personal conviction. In this conversation, Dr. Phil presses into the psychological and professional collision at the center of the story: when does “being human” on-air become “taking a side”? What happens to identity when your newsroom's definition of neutrality conflicts with your lived relationships? And what does it cost emotionally, spiritually, and professionally, to bet everything on your voice? Guest Bios Show Transcript Lawsuits are a common intimidation tactic when powerful figures are accused of wrongdoing, especially in churches. Threatening legal action can silence survivors, whistleblowers, and journalists. But Sarah Young, a citizen journalist and founder of Check My Church, is refusing to bow to the pressure of a lawsuit brought by Apologia Church in Mesa, Arizona. And Sarah joins Julie in this episode to discuss how defamation lawsuits are used to intimidate critics and how those efforts sometimes collapse in court.
Episode 2.77How does God give victory—and what happens when His people forget who the battle belongs to?In this episode, Michael and Zach walk through Joshua 5:13–12:24, the heart of Israel's conquest of the Promised Land. Beginning with Joshua's encounter with the Commander of the LORD's army, the episode makes a crucial point: Joshua never wins by strategy or strength—God fights for His people. From the fall of Jericho to the defeat at Ai, the text shows that victory depends on obedience and dependence, not confidence or cleverness. The sin of Achan reveals the seriousness of God's holiness and the corporate weight of covenant faithfulness. The covenant renewal at Mount Ebal reminds listeners that conquest is never separated from worship and God's Word. The episode also addresses difficult questions—divine judgment, total warfare, archaeology, and the justice of God—while keeping the focus where Joshua does: Yahweh as Divine Warrior, Judge, and Promise-Keeper. Even as Israel “takes the land,” the book makes clear that the victory is partial, pointing forward to a greater rest still to come.Joshua isn't about how great Israel was—it's about how faithful God is, even when His people stumble.Find our videocast here: https://youtu.be/RSksvCyu3zMMerch here: https://take-2-podcast.printify.me/Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/reakt-music/deep-stoneLicense code: 2QZOZ2YHZ5UTE7C8Find more Take 2 Theology content at http://www.take2theology.com

If you have been a reader of MinistryWatch over the years, you probably know about GRACE. GRACE is an acronym that stands for Godly Response to Abuse in Christian Environments. GRACE is also a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing, addressing, and responding to abuse within Christian institutions. Founded to support survivors and promote accountability, GRACE provides independent investigations, consulting, training, and educational resources for churches, schools, ministries, and nonprofit organizations. Its work emphasizes trauma-informed care, best practices for safeguarding, and ethical leadership. By combining professional expertise with a survivor-centered approach, GRACE seeks to help Christian organizations confront abuse honestly, care well for victims, and create safer environments that reflect integrity, transparency, and respect for human dignity. We have used GRACE resources often in our work here at MinistryWatch. Now, GRACE has a new president. The former president, Pete Singer, who has been a guest of this program, died last May, and after a nationwide search, the group named a new president, Laura Thien, who is my guest today. Laura Thien brings more than eighteen years of service to survivors of child abuse, sexual assault, and other trauma—experience that spans work in adoptions, clinical practice, and victim advocacy, and non-profit Board leadership. For many years, she provided support and treatment for survivors of sexual trauma at Julie Valentine Center, a community-based sexual trauma recovery center and CAC (Child Advocacy Center) in Greenville, SC. Laura has a distinguished history of non-profit board leadership, having served as Chairperson for the board of directors for GRACE, Julie Valentine Center, and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office Citizens' Advisory Board. She has also served on the board of directors of the South Carolina Network of Child Advocacy Centers. The producer for today's program is Jeff McIntosh.

Mens Room Question: Good or bad, what was your most interesting experience with an animal?
One of the most common teachings in healing and personal transformation is the value and importance of gratitude. So much so that the idea of establishing a "gratitude practice" for yourself feels commonplace. The power of experiencing thankfulness and gratitude is unquestionably powerful. It can impact the way we feel in the moment and it can transform the way we act. The problem is that most people don't talk about the dark side of practising gratitude. To be clear, I am not saying there is an issue with the feeling of gratitude, but instead that establishing a regular gratitude practice can bring up emotional distress that gets in the way of healing and transformation. This week in the podcast I share the hidden pitfalls of a gratitude practice and how you can move yours from feeling like a chore to something that nurtures your healing and growth. Deputy AG Todd Blanche says that the government is not investigating the murder of Renee Good. We take a look at some patriots who are helping protect their communities from ICE's violent invasion. Every form matters but they all require different skills and Jon and Alex are here to help you navigate through each one. They're still working on their relationships with Lucy…which seems mostly one sided since all she does it take…but she gives so much cuteness it doesn't even matter. 1.16.2026 #RolandMartinUnfiltered: Crockett Senate Poll Questioned. Black Woman Fights Disenfranchisement. Assault on Black History. A recent Emerson College poll in the Texas Senate primary is raising questions, with critics challenging its results. More on that ahead. Tennessee activist Pamela Moses is challenging the state's permanent disenfranchisement laws after she was charged and convicted of voter fraud. Moses eventually had the charges dropped. She and her attorney will be here to talk about the upcoming case. Another example of Black history being erased -- Frederick Douglass excluded from a U.S coin series honoring America's most celebrated leaders. Texas A&M University canceled a graduate Ethics course after a Black professor refused to comply with a discriminatory ban on certain subjects. We'll hear from him later. #BlackStarNetwork partner: Fanbasehttps://www.startengine.com/offering/fanbase This Reg A+ offering is made available through StartEngine Primary, LLC, member FINRA/SIPC.
