How do we return to the innate wisdom of our cells? How do we develop a cocreative relationship with our bodies, with Mother Earth and with the food we consume? And how do we disconnect from the noise - the noise of external and internal narratives, the noise of stories, fallacies and distorted beliefs..? These are some of the questions Emily Hannah and I explore on today's episode of The Big Little Soul Podcast - questions I invite you to explore for yourself before, during and after listening to this episode. It is an honour to have these conversations, and a felt responsibility to continue opening this dialogue. Emily is a truly beautiful embodiment of what it means to live as an expression of the medicine that is alive within us and around us, and her presence on today's episode serves as a reminder for us all to tap into the innate wisdom we carry within our own being. Thank you, as always, for being here and sharing space. …. If you would like to be immersed in more of Emily's nurturing energy, expansive wisdom and exquisite offerings, you can find her here: Instagram: @mineralmumma Emily's Story - ‘Risen from the Ashes' Book with Emily for a Consult

UVC turns 10- wahoo! This morning, pastors Christian Coon (Pastor of Emerging Ministries), Emily McGinley (Executive Pastor), Hannah Kardon (Teaching Pastor) and UVC co-founder Trey Hall (Director of Evangelism and Growth at Methodist Church London, UK) share about this deeply radical and ancient idea that God loves us, so we can love others. This is what has shaped UVC the last decade. This is also a message that has sustained faith communities for thousands of years, and while UVC may be giving different language to this idea for “such a time such as this,” we get to find fresh language again and again to invite, plant, transform, co-create, and bear good fruit! Even if your iPhone is across the room, you just call “Hey Siri” and she will answer. No matter how many times you ask her for advice on the weather today, the latest score, or the traffic for your journey to work, she doesn’t get annoyed. Siri has transformed the way iPhone users get advice on everyday questions. There is no shortage of devices and people handing out advice. Where do you go for wisdom to solve your life’s problems? Mum? Uncle Ted? Siri? We’ve got another name for you to add to your list… Meet our friends James. He had a famous brother – Jesus. And he wrote a little self titled book that made it into the pages of the Bible. In it he offers some advice on everyday problems. If you want know if you need an umbrella today – ask Siri. But if you want to know how to deal with your rising anger or how to manage your words or how to clean up your relational messes – then ask James. We guarantee its better advice than asking Siri.
