Ingrédients : 130g de pâtes 210g de coulis de tomates 200g de tomates cerise Basilic, paprika, piment de Cayenne, sel, poivre 40g de fromage râpé   Préparation : Préchauffer le four à 180°. Faire cuire les pâtes al dente. Laver et couper les tomates cerises en 2. Dans une casserole, mettre le coulis de tomate et les épices à votre convenance. Ajouter les tomates cerise et laisser cuire quelques minutes. Une fois les pâtes cuites, les ajouter à la sauce tomate puis laisser cuire 5 minutes à feu doux. Psalm 26 portrays a man devoted to God, seeking His glory, not his own (v12), wholehearted in leading a blameless life (v1), trusting God without wavering (v1b), keeping himself pure, walking in the light, his heart open to examination (v2), walking in God's love & truth (v3), avoiding close company with evil doers (v4-5). God's House (the setting) is central to his life (v6-8,12). Only Christ perfectly fulfils this description, but we are righteous in Christ, and as we walk with Him, He changes us into His image. David does not boast in a self-righteous way, claiming he is sinless, for he knows his need for redemption & mercy (v11), and trusts in divine grace as His foundation (v3,12). It inspires us to embrace the ideal of faith covenant keeping, but achieving it is not a pre-condition for entering into worship. It's given for us to affirm & strengthen our love for God. Declaring we love righteousness & hate evil, even if we're not perfect, helps us identify with the good & reject the evil. Saying: “I love You, Lord” is not a claim of perfection, but strengthens our commitment to Him. He describes his inner life & outward deeds (integrity). He declared his innocence of accusations against him, affirming he walks with God & seeks to keep His laws: “VINDICATE (judge) me, O Lord” (v1a). His enemies (v4-5, 9-10) slandered him (especially at Absalom's rebellion). In response, he brought his case to God, asking Him to judge in his favor, according to 1Ki 8:31-32. He declared his innocence: “O Lord, for I have (1) WALKED in my integrity (devoted heart, loyal to God). I have also (2) TRUSTED in the Lord; I shall not slip (unwavering trust)” (1Ki 9:4-5). Note the parallelism: (1) his outward WALK from (2) his inner TRUST in God's grace, the root & sap of moral integrity. His holiness empowers our morality, overcoming our sin-nature. He is willing to be examined & corrected by God: “Examine (test) me, O Lord, and prove me; try (refine, as in metals) my mind ('kidneys', seat of emotions) and my heart (will, moral centre)” (v2). A mark of believers is coming to the light, inviting God to search our heart and show us what is right & wrong (John 3:19-21). If we don't want to be told we're wrong, we don't come to the light, but then we live in a lie and will pay the price. “For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes and I have walked in Your truth (faithfulness)” (v3). Again, we see faith & works in balance. By trusting in God's faithfulness, He walks in faithfulness to God, in the truth of His Word in doctrine & deed. He then describes another vital aspect of holy living, separation from evil people & their corrupting ways. We must choose our close friends carefully. “(1) I have not SAT (had close fellowship with) with idolatrous (worthless, those given to the pursuit of vanity) mortals, nor (2) will I go in with hypocrites (play-actors)” (v4). “(1) I have HATED (rejected) the assembly of evildoers, and (2) will not SIT (fellowship) with the wicked” (v5). He rejects their ways, works & company. He hated sin & loved God as seen in his WORSHIP: “I will wash my hands in innocence” (v6a). The priests washed their hands at the Laver before ministering at the Altar, so he prepares his heart to minister to God (Eph 5:26). “So, I will go about Your Altar O Lord” (v6b). True worship centres on Christ's Sacrifice, the basis of God's grace. “That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your wondrous works” (v7). We give thanks for His works of salvation. “Lord, I have LOVED the habitation of Your House (where God dwells & His people assemble), and the Place where Your Glory (manifest Presence) dwells (‘the Place of the Tabernacle of Your Glory')” (v8). As we draw near to God, His Glory will be revealed to us. Contrast his loves with his hates (v5). We should also love His Church. Knowing God is the Judge, he prays: “Do not gather (‘take away') my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men” (v9). "Do not sweep me away with sinners into Your rubbish dump (Hell)." He describes these sinners: “in whose hands is a sinister scheme (plotting for gain at the expense of others), and whose right hand is full of bribes (corruption)” (v10). God will separate the righteous & wicked. Next, he declares his full commitment to God by His help: “But as for me, I will walk in my integrity” (v11a). This is loyalty to God, not self-righteousness, for he knows his need for mercy: “(1) REDEEM me and (2) be MERCIFUL (gracious) to me” (v11b). In the sixth installation in our Pattern of God series, we are the Bronze Laver! And as the Bronze Laver we reflect God's image and nature to those we come into contact with. Through speaking the words of God and our faith-filled deeds towards our brothers, we remind them of their divine heavenly identity as sons of the living God. This “washing” in our divine identity and reminder of who we are, is what causes us to move forward in the Kingdom. With a new song in our mouth, we are testifying to the goodness of our God. We are the Bronze Laver! We are sons of God! We are what the entire world needs!

Exodus 30:11-21; 35:1-3. Through the census tax and the bronze laver, we realize that our salvation has been paid with a price, and because of that, we must live holy lives for Him.

À l'occasion des célébrations du 64e anniversaire de l'indépendance du Mali, dimanche, le chef de la junte, le colonel Assimi Goïta est sorti de son silence… Il s'est exprimé pour la première fois depuis les attaques du GSIM, mardi dernier, à l'École de la Gendarmerie et à l'aéroport Modibo-Keita, près de Bamako. D'après lui, « ces attaques mettent en lumière les actes désespérés des groupes armés qui avaient pour seul objectif de saper le moral des troupes et de briser l'élan de solidarité du peuple malien autour des Famas, les Forces armées maliennes. » Et le président de la Transition a aussi « assuré le peuple malien et celui de l'AES que ce fléau serait combattu avec la plus grande détermination pour la paix dans les 3 États ».Des propos largement repris ce matin par la presse bamakoise, notamment par le site Maliweb.Laver l'affront de TinzaouatineEt justement, l'heure est apparemment à la contre-attaque…D'après Le Monde Afrique, deux importants convois de l'armée malienne sont arrivés ces derniers jours à Kidal, dans le nord du Mali, en provenance de Gao. Au total, une centaine de véhicules, dont une vingtaine de blindés.« À bord de ces convois, des soldats maliens et des mercenaires russes du Groupe Wagner, précise Le Monde Afrique. Leur nombre, difficile à estimer, serait de quelques centaines ».Et le journal de s'interroger : « ont-ils été envoyés à Kidal dans le cadre de la célébration de la fête de l'indépendance, dimanche dernier, ou en vue d'opérations à venir ? Plusieurs sources, tant au sein de l'armée que parmi les rebelles du CSP, estiment que leur objectif pourrait être de prendre Tinzaouatine, à la frontière algérienne, et de laver l'affront qu'ils y avaient subi fin juillet. À l'époque, rappelle Le Monde Afrique, les Forces armées maliennes et leurs supplétifs russes étaient tombés dans des embuscades des rebelles du CSP, puis des djihadistes du GSIM, affilié à Al-Qaida. Le bilan avait été sanglant : au moins 47 soldats maliens et 84 mercenaires de Wagner tués, d'après un communiqué du CSP. (…)Pour le colonel Goïta et ses alliés russes, la nécessité de remporter une victoire éclatante est d'autant plus urgente qu'il faut laver une autre humiliation : le double attentat de Bamako, mardi dernier, qui a fait au moins 70 morts et 200 blessés dans les rangs des forces de défense et de sécurité – soit l'un des pires bilans de ces dernières années ».La Guinée : « nouvelle plaque-tournante de la Françafrique » ?À lire également, cette fois dans Le Point Afrique, cette tribune de l'écrivain guinéen Tierno Monénembo…Une tribune intitulée « la Françafrique à l'épreuve du Palais-Bourbon ? » Tierno Monénembo revient sur la situation de son pays, la Guinée, dirigée d'une main de fer par le général Mamadi Doumbouya, et sur l'initiative de ce député français, Aurélien Saintoul, qui demande une commission d'enquête sur les liens entre Paris et Conakry.       « Pour la première fois, écrit l'écrivain guinéen, le Palais-Bourbon va, peut-être, jeter un œil sur ce qui se passe en Guinée. (…) Et pour cause, ce pays (…) est en passe de devenir la plaque tournante de la Françafrique. Alors que le Mali, le Burkina Faso et le Niger se sont jetés dans les bras de Poutine, (…) c'est en Guinée que celle-ci vient de réorienter ses réseaux dont on connaît, depuis Foccart, la redoutable efficacité en matière de coups tordus. Pour compenser la défection des Goïta, Tiani et autres Ibrahima Traoré, c'est sur le général Mamadi Doumbouya, l'homme fort de Conakry, que Macron a jeté son dévolu, sans même prendre la peine de revêtir le masque habituel de la démocratie et des droits de l'homme. Après avoir un moment boudé, pour la forme, le putschiste de Conakry, la France a très vite repris sa coopération, y compris, la coopération militaire. La junte guinéenne a pris cela comme la délivrance d'un blanc-seing ».Et, poursuit Tierno Monénembo, « la répression déjà sévère a pris une tournure qui rappelle les heures sombres de Sékou Touré (…). Curieusement, la France, “la patrie des droits de l'homme“, est restée de marbre devant ces atrocités, alors que l'ONU, les États-Unis, l'Allemagne, et la Grande-Bretagne les ont fermement condamnées. D'où la colère de notre député qui soupçonne un deal inavouable entre l'Élysée et le putschiste de Conakry ».Et l'écrivain guinéen de s'interroger : « sera-t-il entendu ? Les représentants du peuple de France se décideront-ils enfin à briser le tabou, à ouvrir à la démocratie les mornes alcôves de la Françafrique ? À nos yeux, rien n'est moins sûr (…). »
