Art and it's creation can be one of those wonderfully unknown things. Where does inspiration come from? How does each different artist recieve it, and translate that into what the rest of us get to experience? For Brett and Leah Shaw, that process is intrinsically tied to their relationship with Jesus and how the Holy Spirit is leading and guiding them. Brett and Leah talk with Jo and Scott about life, creativity, faith and New Year's Day.Resources/Links mentioned in this episode or helpful for Going Deeper:Web: Leah Shaw - ArtworkSocial: KLAPPE Studio by Leah Shaw (Instagram)Social: Brett Anthony Shaw (Instagram)Music: Brett Anthony Shaw (Spotify | Apple Music)Song: 01/01/2020 (on Spotify)Big thanks to Tim Whittle for editing and extra production on this podcast. It is important for individual therapists to have what is known as a Theoretical Orientation. This is the therapists understanding of how human pathology develops and the most effective ways of treating it. For Brett, his theoretical orientation is from an experiential psychology perspective.  This includes humanistic psychology elements from the school of Carl Rogers as well as existential psychology particularly Irvin Yalom. For Michael, this understanding is rooted in the work of Anna Freud and her ego psychology as well as her contemporaries in psychodynamic theory. Most specifically Michael subscribes to the self-psychology model promoted by Heintz Kohut.  Existential Psychology:  https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/evil-deeds/201101/what-is-existential-psychotherapy Self Psychology: https://www.goodtherapy.org/learn-about-therapy/types/self-psychology

This week’s episode of The Stage One Startup Podcast features a serial entrepreneur and online influencer. Brett Campbell has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, but it took him some time to find his path to filling his life’s purpose -- a path you’ll learn more about through this podcast! Brett, a New Zealander now living in Australia, felt destined to do great things from an early age. Growing up in a low-income area with relatively few opportunities, however, meant that he wasn’t exposed to the idea of being an entrepreneur as he grew up. For Brett, it took jumping on an aeroplane and moving to a new country to forge a life full of meaning and true purpose. He became the owner and CEO of Fit International and demonstrated his business savvy by exploding the company from one to 35 locations in just six months. As a serial entrepreneur, his ventures don’t stop there! His Authority Academy provides videos to help internet marketers learn how to become authorities within their industries. As he says, the general path of the entrepreneur is to learn something and then want to teach it to others. Most recently, he has been devoting much of his energy to his newest venture, Unleash Your Greatness. This international live event series, which helps people discover and pursue the life of their dreams, will be the focus of today’s episode. For full show notes: http://www.stageonestartup.com/ep-016/
