POPULARITY
We are growing in our appreciation for the times in the nothingness. We are learning that it is in these times and only in these times where we truly see the hand of God at work. It is in these times of nothingness, of darkness that God reaches down into creation and places his unique signature on situations. This is to show that it was him and only him that was able to bring about anything of lasting value. Pastor Nik Arezina and brother Abimbola Daramola helped us with this sermon entitled "Signed in the Dark" by admonishing us not dread the moments of nothingness or darkness, but to desire them! We desire them because it is only in these that we can truly see his handiwork on display in our lives.

When you are the center of you universe it is easier to think of yourself as God than live correctly in the AWE and WONDER of God. Normally when we begin to lose the Wonder of God it is because His wonder has been replaced by something or someone else. The only way to reestablish this is to zoom out. That is what I plan to do this morning. Zoom so far out that, maybe, for the first time we will capture Wonder. Surrender to a creator God who has decided to be personal and not just personal but intimate.
