Today I open up the mailbag to address some listener questions and comments. Many of you send messages through the website. I read all of them. I don't always know what to say. But every now and then I feel a bit of inspiration to respond sincerely or sarcastically. It could go either way. So today I have some listener questions about Barbie, the abuse of power in Churches, Catholic theology, and the existence of God. Credits Host: R.T. In this episode of the podcast, J. Warner tralks with Julio Rodriguez and discusses the filming of “God's Not Dead 2”, the state of the Christian church, the philosophical evidence from the impossibility of infinite regress, and the complexity of DNA as he makes a case for the existence of God.
Skeptics claim belief in God's existence is irrational. Furthermore, they claim their position (most often, atheism) is based upon careful reasoning and evidence. But the argument from reason calls into question the very ability of atheism to provide a grounding for our rational faculties. Furthermore, it shows that pantheism (the worldview of most Eastern religions) also fails to provide a foundation for human reason. In this episode, I explain and defend the argument from reason and show how reason itself provides evidence for God.
Join Angie and Stevens in this captivating episode as they dive deep into the realm of cosmology and its profound implications for our understanding of God's existence. Richard joins Dr. Michael Easley to discuss Richard's book Reflections on The Existence of God and the importance of evidence-based belief. Why is it important to have evidence to believe in? In this episode we'll look at these questions many of us have: How should we think about evil in a culture that loves evil? What is the meaning of life? What is my purpose in living? What is the psychology of belief and unbelief? How is the person and work of Jesus Christ apologetic evidence? There are a lot of strong arguments for the existence of God, but two of the most compelling are the fine tuning of the universe and the person of Christ as the Son of God. We should each examine the evidence out there and strive to believe responsibly. What evidence have you found for the existence of God? Find out more about Richard's book Reflections on the Existence of God - Read Chapter 1 for free. Dr. Easley's experience in ministry spans four decades as a gifted Bible teacher and church leader. He was the 8th president of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois He shares a passion for ministry, a heart for people, and love of God. Michael Easley inContext wants to help you understand how God's Word applies to the context of your life through interviews with subject matter experts, and men and women striving to obey Christ and His Word. True happiness. Lasting peace. Contentment. Something more. While people may differ on the details of what provides these things, every person alive is in pursuit of them. It seems there is an innate desire for the transcendent that we possess. How does such a desire function as evidence for God's existence? What exactly is a desire for the transcendent and where do we encounter it? Is this just an exercise in wishful thinking? In this episode, I explain what the Argument from Desire is, show how it provides evidence for God's existence, and respond to objections.

Religious experience claims are innumerable, but what are they and do they provide evidence for God's existence? Can they be explained away as a result of physical processes in the brain or psychological illusions? What about religious experiences in other religions? And aren't these experiences subjective? How can they be trusted? In this episode, I discuss the nature of religious experience, show how it contributes to the case for God's existence, and respond to objections.

Many vocal atheists have made headway in our modern culture, claiming that there is no evidence for God's existence. Is our belief in God just a fairy-tale, or is there any evidence that God actually exists? Tune in to hear Fr. Joseph, Paul, and Diane discuss how we can be confident that God really exists and is intimately involved in the universe!
How can you believe in God when you can't prove He exists? That is the Big Question in this second message of Doubters Welcome. Although homeschooling our kids gives us many more opportunities to disciple our children, it does not guarantee that they will embrace our faith. Often our teens will ask questions or make statements that can invoke fear and cause us to react, but as you'll hear in this episode, questions are actually a GOOD sign. I had a mom reach out to me recently who was concerned that her teen was expressing doubt about the existence of God. She asked for some advice on how to handle this situation and for any book recommendations. Do we need deep scientific knowledge in order to make arguments for the existence of God? Or can we demonstrate a general, objective, rational case for God's existence using common observations found in our everyday life? Philosopher and theologian Thomas Aquinas introduced the world to his "Five Ways" for the existence of God back in the 13th century, and they are still being discussed and debated today. There are some similarities between Aquinas' Five Ways and many other common arguments for the existence of God (Kalam cosmological, moral, teleological, etc.) but there are also some important distinctions to keep in mind. In this midweek podcast episode, Frank sits down with Dr. David Haines, assistant professor of theology and philosophy at Bethlehem College and Seminary, to discuss two of the five arguments Aquinas used to prove the existence of God. David is active in research related to ancient and medieval philosophy, early Reformed theology, C.S. Lewis, Thomism, natural law, and natural theology. He has given conference presentations and published a number of articles and books in these areas, including Natural Theology and Natural Law. As Frank and David introduce the audience to two of these Five Ways of Aquinas, you will see that their (relative) simplicity can be deceiving, and their nuances will continue to spark discussion for many more centuries to come!
