In “What Lies Beneath,” Pastor Robert Madu teaches that lies are like icebergs — small on the surface but powerful enough to sink our lives. God hates lies because they keep us trapped in fear. From “micro lies” to “mirror lies” to “malicious lies,” Pastor Robert shows how deception quietly grows until it destroys. God exposes lies not to shame us, but to bring healing and freedom. Truth isn't just a principle — it's a person, and His name is Jesus. Thank you for partnering with Social Dallas! God Hates Selfishness - The 2nd CommandmentGod is generous, the enemy of our souls is a selfish, greedy, murderer.
This message carried a vital truth for the times we're living in, and God moved mightily in this service.
A new MP3 sermon from The Narrated Puritan is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: Those Whom God Hates, He Often Gives Earthly Things To Subtitle: Jonathan Edwards's Sermons Speaker: Jonathan Edwards Broadcaster: The Narrated Puritan Event: Audiobook Date: 10/19/2025 Length: 24 min.
In “When Pride Gets In Your Eyes” Pastor Robert Madu urges us to let God's Word both comfort and confront us—like a surgeon's scalpel that cuts not to kill, but to heal. When God begins removing things from our lives, we must trust His loving precision. Pride blinds and hardens the heart, closing heaven's flow of grace, while humility opens heaven and invites God's presence to dwell within us. Thank you for partnering with Social Dallas! Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike talks about how God hates sin—not out of anger alone, but because He delights in goodness and desires it for all His creatures. As we prepare for Paul's call to respond to the gospel, it's good to reflect on why God hates sin and how He is shaping us to become people who also love what is good and hate what destroys it.
Senior Pastor Christopher Chia delivered his sermon from Isaiah 1:2-4.
When tackling an important project, it is natural to want to divide all the tasks fairly, so everyone shares the responsibilities and weight of the job. You're looking at the title of this episode and wondering what the hell is going on? There was supposed to be some Toxic Avenger or a Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD this week instead you're seeing an episode on the David AR White Film, "God's Not Dead." Well... I'm gonna throw my cohost under the bus and tell you to blame Jesse for this one. We burned through all of are back up episodes in one month and as a result I had to ask friend of the podcast, Richard Gilliver of Sceptic Takeout if he didn't mind me reposting the crossover episode I did on his channel a few years ago. It's definitely NOT a movie in one of the only two genres of film that matters, but it is one that I had to watch and talk about a few years ago. If you aren't interested in the breakdown of a Christian movie skip to almost any other episode we've done. Otherwise this was a fun episode to record, and is something that we're gonna revisit with Richard in the future. Until then be sure to check out Sceptic Hangout. His episodes without me are much better. We encourage everyone to watch along while you listen and make sure to comment and let us know what you think. Pastor Mike kicks off the new sermon series 7 Things God Hates with the message, “The Look God Hates,” from Proverbs 6:16–17.
If God is love, does that mean He can't hate? There are actually several things that get this label from God in the label, and divorce is one of them. In week 2 of our journey through the book of Malachi, we learn about the true purpose marriage has and why God takes ending marriage so seriously.
How are we “present with the Lord” when we die yet “the dead in Christ will rise first”? How can we be seated at God‘s right hand if we are even closer than that by being united with Christ? Somebody told me we should be thankful for everything, including the Nazi regime. That can't be right, right? Two of my children's lives were taken at a young age. Now, I wonder if God hates me or has taken His hand off of me. Can you help me?
“For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.”2 Corinthians 10:3-6 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”Ephesians 6:10-13 “No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.”1 Corinthians 10:20-21 “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”1 Peter 5:8 WHY THEY KILLED CHARLIE KIRKHE WAS INTELLIGENT HE WAS TRUTHFULHE WAS CURIOUSHE WAS COMPASSIONATE HE WAS RIGHTHOW DO YOU FEEL?OUTRAGEDHEART BROKENDETERMINED EMBOLDENED EMPOWEREDOBLIGATEDWHAT DO WE DO NOW?EXPECT WARPREPARE FOR MORE TRAGEDYUNDERSTAND PROPHECY DON'T BE SURPRISED BY DEVIL'S TACTICS AND DEMONSDOUBLE DOWN ON BIBLICAL TRUTH PROCLAMATION SWING THE SWORD WITH BITH HANDS UNTIL YOU CANT RAISE YOUR ARMSHIT AS MANY DEMONIC FORCES AND INFLUENCES WITH PRAYER BOMBSEMBRACE STUPIDITY OF IGNORANT PEOPLE THEN WITH CONVICTION AND RESOLVE TO NEVER WAIVER, SPEAK TRUTH UNAPOLOGETICALLY CARRY CHARLIE'S TORCH SO HIS DEATH NOT IN VAIN

Isaiah delivers one of the most shocking words in Scripture—God says He hates the worship of His own people. Why? Because their prayers and sacrifices were disconnected from justice, compassion, and care for the vulnerable. In this message, we face the uncomfortable truth that it's possible to honor God with our lips while ignoring Him with our lives—and we discover the hope that even with blood on our hands, God offers grace, cleansing, and a new way forward.

Yes, that question will stun some people, but there are some things the Bible teaches that God hates—things not good for us!

In today's Morning Manna, we uncover the chilling profile of the one Solomon calls a “perverse man”—a man whose words are twisted, whose actions are subtle, and whose heart is set on sowing division. Proverbs 6:12–15 warns us that not all danger wears a villain's mask—some plot quietly with gestures, whispers, and deceit. But Scripture assures us: their end is certain, sudden, and without remedy. The journey toward spiritual wholeness often demands confronting our divided hearts. In this compelling episode, we dive deep into Hosea 7:8's mysterious metaphor: "Ephraim is a cake not turned" - a powerful image that speaks directly to Christians caught between devotion to God and attraction to worldly pursuits.Using this ancient baking metaphor as our foundation, we explore six critical manifestations of spiritual division that plague believers today. From lukewarmness that makes us spiritually repulsive to hypocrisy that makes us modern-day Pharisees, we examine how attempting to live with one foot in God's kingdom and one foot in the world leaves us spiritually half-baked.The consequences of divided loyalty go beyond mere inconsistency. Through Scripture passages including Revelation 3:16, Matthew 6:24, 1 Kings 18:21, and 1 John 2:15-17, we reveal how serving two masters creates spiritual instability, hinders our prayers, and ultimately pulls us away from authentic relationship with God. Just as a pancake left too long on one side will burn, Christians who spend excessive time engaged with worldly pursuits risk getting spiritually burned. This episode isn't about condemnation but clarity. We all struggle with competing priorities and attractions, but God desires our wholehearted commitment rather than a relationship of convenience. By examining our hearts honestly and committing fully to Christ, we can experience the fulfillment that comes only through complete devotion. Are you fully committed to your spiritual journey, or are you trying to maintain a comfortable position with divided loyalties? Join us for this thought-provoking exploration of what it means to turn fully toward God and away from the distractions that threaten to burn us.Thank you for listening! In this episode, we explore Proverbs 6:16–19, where God clearly names seven things He finds detestable—yet reminds us that even these sins are covered by His grace. We're challenged to reflect on whether we take sin as seriously as God does, and to stay humble, teachable, and alert. When we think we're immune to temptation, we become vulnerable prey for the Enemy. This conversation invites us to move beyond dismissing "small sins" and cultivate a posture of vigilance and dependence on God's mercy.WHAT IS NEUE THING?Neue Thing is a non-profit ministry, founded by Cherie Wagner, that exists to equip women with the Word of God. Questions about whether the fact that some people go through intense difficulties and suffering indicates that God hates some and favors others, and whether someone is being abused because God doesn't think she's worshiping him enough. I constantly feel like God hates me because of a congenital defect that affects my career choices, my self-worth, and my bitterness towards God. Why does it seem like God hates some and favors others? If God lets Satan live to bring God glory and to test us, does that mean my friend is being abused by her mom's boyfriend because God doesn't think she's worshiping him enough?
By Tim Martens - Love is personified in God, thankfully, and there is not doubt to that as expressed by the word of God (1 John 4, verse 8), and, yet, God clearly hates certain behaviors which are unloving. We, too, should despise those behaviors and work to counter them with other godly qualities.

The apostle Paul went from being a devout Jew, one of God's chosen people, to an enthusiastic missionary for the Jesus movement. Today, Dr. Bart Ehrman and I look at Paul's writings to consider whether this shift also changed his self-identification as a Jew, and if he believed that God no longer favored the Jewish people.
