Today is day 46 and we are on the section on the First Article of the Apostles' Creed on God the Father Almighty. Today we are on the third line: “Creator of Heaven and Earth” and studying question 46. 46. If God created the world good, why do we sin? Adam and Eve rebelled against God, thus bringing upon all humanity pain, toil, alienation from God and each other, and death. I have inherited this fallen and corrupted human nature; consequently, I too sin and fall short of God's glory. (Genesis 3:16–4:26; Psalm 51:3–5; Romans 3:23; 5:12; 7:14–25) We will conclude today with The Collect for The Fourth Sunday of Epiphany found on page 602 of the Book of Common Prayer (2019). Today is day 45 and we are on the section on the First Article of the Apostles' Creed on God the Father Almighty. Today we are on the third line: “Creator of Heaven and Earth” and studying question 45. 45. Was the world that God created good? Yes. God created all things and called them “very good” (Genesis 1:31). However, through sin, evil and death have come into the world and corrupted it. (Genesis 3:1–8; Psalm 14:1–3; Matthew 15:18–20a; Romans 1:18–32; 1 Timothy 4:4–5) We will conclude today with Prayer 21. Today is day 44 and we are on the section on the First Article of the Apostles' Creed on God the Father Almighty. Today we are on the third line: “Creator of Heaven and Earth” and studying question 44. 44. What does it mean that God created both heaven and earth? It means that all things, whether visible or invisible, physical or spiritual, were brought into being out of nothing by the Word of the eternal God. (Genesis 1:1–8; Psalm 33:6–8; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16) We will conclude today with Prayer 120. For the Beauty of the Earth found on page 682 of the Book of Common Prayer (2019). We're back for season 15! We're kicking things off with a conversation about the more God has for us- not more to do, but more to become. Through the picture of acorns and oak trees, this episode invites us to see spiritual growth as a process shaped by identity, intentional practices, and biblical community. It's an encouraging reminder that maturity takes time, growth happens best when we're planted, and God is always inviting us to grow into who He created us to be.Subscribe to Shownotes Plus for Discussion Questions, Extra Resources, and More!Learn More About Sisterhood© 2022 Be Essential Songs (BMI) / Jord A Lil Music (BMI) / Doejones20 (BMI) (admin at EssentialMusicPublishing.com). Who is this King of Glory? Today brings us one step further out of the 25-26 estuary. The King of Glory is our Creator, Savior, and Sustainer. He is kind and long-suffering, but also Holy and true. He also asks Job and us where we were at the moment of creation, how the universe is truly sustained, and lastly (today), if we cannot conquer His creation, how do we confront Him? Today is fun because God brings the Behemoth and the Leviathan to Job's attention. I love the conclusion of God's argument: “Lay your hand on him; Remember the battle; you will not do it again! 9 “Behold, your expectation is false; Will you be laid low even at the sight of him?” Job 41:8-9Therefore:“No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him; Who then is he that can stand before Me? 11 “Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is Mine.” Job 41:0-11Our So What?We chose to, in humility and lowliness to come to our communion with the Almighty in lowliness, taking Solomon's advice to heart:“Do not be hasty in word or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few.” Ecclesiastes 5:2“Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen”1 Timothy 1:17Brethren, let's pray for one another. "What a man is on his knees before God, that he is and nothing more." This Sunday we resume our sermon series entitled "By Their Fruits You Shall Know Them: 8 Core Characteristics of Authentic Followers of Jesus." In the first installment in this series, we saw that God has given each of us a Superpower -- the Superpower of Grace! This week, in the second installment, we'll explore what we're supposed to do with all that power God has given us. Our core questions will be: Why did God create me? According to Jesus, what's my reason for being?
In the Beginning God Created the Heaven and the EarthCreation Podcast For Kids January 12–18: “In the Beginning God Created the Heaven and the Earth”Genesis 1–2; Moses 2–3; Abraham 4–5Because the world around us is so beautiful and majestic, it's hard to imagine the earth when it was “without form, and void” and “empty and desolate” (Genesis 1:2; Abraham 4:2). One thing the Creation story teaches us is that God can, over time, make something magnificent out of something unorganized. That's helpful to remember when life seems chaotic. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are Creators, and Their creative work with us is not finished. They can make light shine in dark moments in our lives. They can fill our emptiness with life. They can transform us into the divine beings we were meant to be. That's what it means to be created in God's image, after His likeness (see Genesis 1:26). We have the potential to become like Him: exalted, glorified, heavenly. This week kids will learn: “By mine Only Begotten I created these things.” Jesus Christ created the earth under Heavenly Fathers direction. Jesus created the earth.I am created in the image of God. “We were made to look like our heavenly parents and should treat our bodies with respect.” I was created in God's image.Your children can develop a sense of reverence and respect for their own and others' bodies as they learn that we were all created in God's imageI am responsible for caring for God's creations.God blessed and sanctified the Sabbath day.Practical tips and role playing for kids to practice explaining why they keep the sabbath day holy to their peers. The Sabbath day is holy.Audio about the creation taken from see “The Creation of the Earth” in Old Testament Stories, 8–12). The 7 days of creation for kids! If you are new here - welcome! We are Come Follow Me Kids a primary podcast for kids who attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It's not enough to describe the world we live in, the world that was created as "perfect". Genesis 1 shows us at least three good things about this world - its real, it's ordered, and it's good. It's a home, and that is what is should feel like. That uncanny feeling that you don't belong can only get fixed with the stranger who made this place his home. A sermon on Genesis 1:3-25 on October 5th 2025
In this episode, Swamiji begins his exploration of Bhagavad Gita Chapter 7, Verse 6, where Shree Krishna reveals the ultimate reason behind the creation of the material world. Listeners will discover how both the lower (material) and higher (spiritual) energies originate from the Divine, and how creation itself is an expression of God's purposeful design. Swamiji explains that the world is not a random occurrence but a divine arrangement meant to facilitate the soul's journey toward realization. This episode invites seekers to reflect on their place in the cosmic plan and understand how every experience—joyful or painful—serves a higher spiritual purpose. Building upon our previous episodes on the soul's identity and divine energies, this discussion deepens your understanding of creation as a sacred opportunity for growth, surrender, and reunion with the Divine. Tune in to enrich your journey through the Gita and elevate your quest for meaning, devotion, and spiritual awakening.

LESSON 260Let Me Remember God Created Me.Father, I did not make myself, although in my insanity I thought I did. Yet, as Your Thought, I have not left my Source, remaining part of Who created me. Your Son, my Father, calls on You today. Let me remember You created me. Let me remember my Identity. And let my sinlessness arise again before Christ's vision, through which I would look upon my brothers and myself today. Now is our Source remembered, and Therein we find our true Identity at last. Holy indeed are we, because our Source can know no sin. And we who are His Sons are like each other, and alike to Him.- Jesus Christ in ACIM

We've got believers walking around as if aging is supposed to mean surrender. That pain is a permanent sentence. That breakdown is normal. What if that's not how the system works at all? Kevin Lucas joins me with a wild testimony—abuse, chronic pain, and a breakthrough that rewired how I think about healing. What he discovered lines up with what the Bible has said all along: God engineered the human body with a recovery system. It's time we started using it.
