Study session scripture: Romans 9:14-29What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? Do we connect with our Source on a daily basis? We have a function to know who we are as God created us. "Now are we ONE with Him who is our Source." The Christ will receive this connection to God for us, being in constant Communion with His Father, therefore, we listen to the Christ to make this contact with our Source. We are now as God Created us. We can be aware of this today, and all sorrow can be over. Suffering can come to an end. We are given Christ's Vision today, ONE with our Source, seeing our Divine Reality. We can be free of the ego's overlay that fogs our true vision. God is in everything I see. God is in my mind which is the Mind of God through which Christ's visions sees.

LESSON 162I Am As God Created Me.This single thought, held firmly in the mind, would save the world. From time to time we will repeat it, as we reach another stage in learning. It will mean far more to you as you advance. These words are sacred, for they are the words God gave in answer to the world you made. By them it disappears, and all things seen within its misty clouds and vaporous illusions vanish as these words are spoken. For they come from God.Here is the Word by which the Son became His Father's happiness, His Love and His completion. Here creation is proclaimed, and honored as it is. There is no dream these words will not dispel; no thought of sin and no illusion which the dream contains that will not fade away before their might. They are the trumpet of awakening that sounds around the world. The dead awake in answer to its call. And those who live and hear this sound will never look on death.Holy indeed is he who makes these words his own; arising with them in his mind, recalling them throughout the day, at night bringing them with him as he goes to sleep. His dreams are happy and his rest secure, his safety certain and his body healed, because he sleeps and wakens with the truth before him always. He will save the world, because he gives the world what he receives each time he practices the words of truth.Today we practice simply. For the words we use are mighty, and they need no thoughts beyond themselves to change the mind of him who uses them. So wholly is it changed that it is now the treasury in which God places all His gifts and all His Love, to be distributed to all the world, increased in giving; kept complete because its sharing is unlimited. And thus you learn to think with God. Christ's vision has restored your sight by salvaging your mind.We honor you today. Yours is the right to perfect holiness you now accept. With this acceptance is salvation brought to everyone, for who could cherish sin when holiness like this has blessed the world? Who could despair when perfect joy is yours, available to all as remedy for grief and misery, all sense of loss, and for complete escape from sin and guilt?And who would not be brother to you now; you, his redeemer and his savior. Who could fail to welcome you into his heart with loving invitation, eager to unite with one like him in holiness? You are as God created you. These words dispel the night, and darkness is no more. The sermon upholds the biblical order of male headship and female submission not as oppression, but as a reflection of Christ's sacrificial leadership and the church's submission to Him, while affirming the equal worth and shared salvation of both genders. It also explores the moral capacity of humanity—created with the law written on their hearts, able to obey or disobey, and thus responsible for their actions—setting the stage for understanding sin, covenant, and redemption. Ultimately, the sermon presents creation as a divine, good, and purposeful act, establishing humanity's role as stewards of God's world, called to live in holy joy and faithful dominion under God's authority.

What is it that we have to give? Can we receive Christ's Vision in order to give it? What would that be? Can we see that we are as God created us, and that our Innocence is totally intact, no matter what mistakes we have made in our life? This would be Christ's Vision. The Knowledge of our Real Self as God Created us is far beyond what can be taught, but awareness of this Self is Christ's Vision. We can give this to others when we have received it for ourselves. The time it takes to realize this is up to us. Realizing this truth is determined, and our moment of awakening is set. We will wake up to discover the Knowledge of Who we Are as God Created us as LOVE, PEACE and JOY. Christ's Vision can show us the real possibility of the end of separation.

The End For Which God Created the World. Romans 11:33-36. Lead Pastor Michael Clary

Earlier this year, Bishop Robert Gruss shared a talk about purgatory at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Saginaw. He invited those gathered to reflect deeply on God's mercy, holiness and eternal life promised through Jesus. "You never know the day nor the time," Bishop Gruss told those in attendance. "We always have to be prepared." The evening began with prayer as Bishop Gruss asked the Holy Spirit to open hearts and minds to receive what God wanted to reveal through the discussion. Understanding purgatory Throughout the presentation, Bishop Gruss emphasized that purgatory is often misunderstood. While many people think of purgatory as a physical place, he explained that the Church teaches it is better understood as a process of purification. "Purgatory is not a place," Bishop Gruss said. "It is a condition of existence." Quoting St. John Paul II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Bishop Gruss explained that purgatory comes from the Latin word purgare, meaning "to make clean" or "to purify." He pointed to paragraphs 1030 and 1031 of the Catechism, which describe purgatory as the purification of souls who die in God's grace and friendship but are still imperfectly purified before entering heaven. "Nothing unclean will enter the presence of God in heaven," Bishop Gruss said, referencing the Book of Revelation (Chapter 21, Verse 27). Because of this, every soul must be fully purified before experiencing what the Church calls the beatific vision — seeing God face-to-face in His glory. God's mercy and purification Bishop Gruss explained that after death, every person undergoes what the Church calls a particular judgment, where the soul immediately understands its eternal destiny. "There are only two choices," he said. "Heaven and hell." However, Bishop Gruss reminded those gathered that purgatory is not separate from salvation. Rather, it is part of God's mercy for souls destined for heaven. "If you're experiencing purgatory, you're in [going to Heaven]," he said. "There's no turning back the other way." The bishop emphasized that most people die in what he called an "imperfect state of grace," still carrying attachments to sin, selfishness or worldly desires. He encouraged frequent confession and honest examination of conscience, asking participants to reflect on the areas of their lives that still need healing and conversion. "People die with unforgiveness in their soul," he said. "People die with attachment to jealousy or envy or lust or hatred." Yet the message of the evening was ultimately one of hope. "The beautiful thing about purgatory," Bishop Gruss said, "is that it exists as a result of God's mercy and His love and His desire for you and for me to be with Him for all eternity." Created for love At several points during the talk, Bishop Gruss reminded listeners that the Christian life is deeply personal because every person was created intentionally by God. He encouraged those present to prepare their hearts for eternal life through prayer, repentance and trust in God's mercy. The evening concluded with a renewed invitation to holiness and deeper conversion, reminding the faithful that God's desire is always to bring His people into the fullness of His presence. "Purgatory is meant to purify us so that we can love as completely as God," Bishop Gruss said.

We have the account in Genesis about how God created man. Why did God create us?

LESSON 110I Am As God Created Me.We will repeat today's idea from time to time. For this one thought would be enough to save you and the world, if you believed that it is true. Its truth would mean that you have made no changes in yourself that have reality, nor changed the universe so that what God created was replaced by fear and evil, misery and death. If you remain as God created you fear has no meaning, evil is not real, and misery and death do not exist.Today's idea is therefore all you need to let complete correction heal your mind, and give you perfect vision that will heal all the mistakes that any mind has made at any time or place. It is enough to heal the past and make the future free. It is enough to let the present be accepted as it is. It is enough to let time be the means for all the world to learn escape from time, and every change that time appears to bring in passing by.If you remain as God created you, appearances cannot replace the truth, health cannot turn to sickness, nor can death be substitute for life, or fear for love. All this has not occurred, if you remain as God created you. You need no thought but just this one, to let redemption come to light the world and free it from the past.In this one thought is all the past undone; the present saved to quietly extend into a timeless future. If you are as God created you, then there has been no separation of your mind from His, no split between your mind and other minds, and only unity within your own.The healing power of today's idea is limitless. It is the birthplace of all miracles, the great restorer of the truth to the awareness of the world. Practice today's idea with gratitude. This is the truth that comes to set you free. This is the truth that God has promised you. Can we rise into our true IDENTITY? This Lesson puts us in the vibration of Who we are as God Created us. We are the Son of God. This is our Highest Reality. This is the "Truth that sets us free." Can we receive and embody this Truth? "I AM AS GOD CREATED ME." There are no problems in SELF-IDENTITY. I am not separated from my Source. I am the Son or Daughter of the Divine FATHER/MOTHER. I am as God created me. I am Love not fear. I am Life not death. I am Health, not sickness. I am Innocence, not guilt. My Self as God created me is my Reality. My ego is an illusion that does not exist in this Holy Reality—that is the ONLY Reality. I am ONLY that REALITY.

We practice affirming our Identity as God Created us to be. We are as God created us. We are One Self, at one with every aspect of creation, and limitless in power and in peace. Awareness of our Being solves all of our "problems." As God created us, we are free of all "personal lies" and claim our True Self. This is the Self of Love, free of fear, and cleansed of all "idols" that belive in death. We ask for truth to reveal our One Self to us.

LESSON 94I Am As God Created Me.Today we continue with the one idea which brings complete salvation; the one statement which makes all forms of temptation powerless; the one thought which renders the ego silent and entirely undone. You are as God created you. The sounds of this world are still, the sights of this world disappear, and all the thoughts that this world ever held are wiped away forever by this one idea. Here is salvation accomplished. Here is sanity restored.True light is strength, and strength is sinlessness. If you remain as God created you, you must be strong and light must be in you. He Who ensured your sinlessness must be the guarantee of strength and light as well. You are as God created you. Darkness cannot obscure the glory of God's Son. You stand in light, strong in the sinlessness in which you were created, and in which you will remain throughout eternity.Today we will again devote the first five minutes of each waking hour to the attempt to feel the truth in you. Begin these times of searching with these words:I am as God created me.I am His Son eternally.Now try to reach the Son of God in you. This is the Self That never sinned, nor made an image to replace reality. This is the Self That never left Its home in God to walk the world uncertainly. This is the Self That knows no fear, nor could conceive of loss or suffering or death.Nothing is required of you to reach this goal except to lay all idols and self-images aside; go past the list of attributes, both good and bad, you have ascribed to yourself; and wait in silent expectancy for the truth. God has Himself promised that it will be revealed to all who ask for it. You are asking now. You cannot fail because He cannot fail.If you do not meet the requirement of practicing for the first five minutes of every hour, at least remind yourself hourly:I am as God created me.I am His Son eternally.Tell yourself frequently today that you are as God created you.
