EPISODE NOTES COLD OPEN Someone types in RHOBH 9, and you think they’re going to show search results of all the vitriol and tweets of what people have been saying about this season, because this season has definitely been the most divisive and most verbally aggro one on social media. But… it’s Andy Cohen facetiming with Anderson Cooper. WHY?! Anderson doesn’t even care about the housewives!!! It feels so staged! Even in this Anderson doesn’t seem like cares at all. ACT ONE LOOKS: ALL over the map in terms of color. Denise is in brown saggy dress, Erika is in a very cheap blue her face is beautiful but her hair and the dress feel very dated, Rinna and Kyle are in varying shades of neon yellow, I love Kyle’s hair, Rinna’s too. Dorit looks like an alien in silver, and Teddi is… also there. Andy does his go arounds and is more excited by the suggestion of Teddi’s dad than Teddi herself. Andy tells us that Lisa won’t be coming and that she quit the show. They pop up this article that says : LISA VANDERPUMP SUPPORTS LGBTQ YOUTH IN POWERFUL PSA, AND REVEALS SHE’S OFFICIALLY QUIT THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS AND WILL SKIP THE FINAL REUNION. When andy’s voiceover says that she quit the show, they BLURRED OUT the PSA part. SHADYYYYY. As if it to say ‘none of that matters…’ This is what i meant about lvp not coming to the reunion as a problem. Now there is no deep damage on stage. No one else has a deep relationship with high stakes. It makes me think that lvp must have had a personal grudge against the crew. Was it about the teeth thing? Its the only scene she wasnt present for that aired before the reunion. Andy plays LVP’s thoughts on Adrienne not showing up to the season 3 reunion to point out her hypocrisy. Kyle jumps in and says LVP pre empted getting fired by quitting, because she knew she wasn’t coming to the reunion. Kyle says that she showed up even when she was having issues with Kim. This is true; Kyle has always put her shit out there, and she shows up and does her job, regardless of whether or not she wants to. Andy mentions a radaronline article that paints LVP as a victim. LVP clearly leaked that too. She has the power to tell her friends to not speak to the media. Kyle announces that if LVP had been there today, they would’v eloved to work through it. “Right ladies dont you think?!” They all chime in with OF COURSE!!!! Kyle is the new leader. Kyle brought a present for LVP. Denise asks, “Why do you think she didn’t show up?” ...really? After all this discussion? ACT TWO Camille pulls up. Why is Camille ALWAYS with her friend Kimber?! This is like a Michelle Williams-Busy Phillips relationship. Andy brings up Nicolette Sheridan. Too complicated. DENISE Denise package. Denise was a pleasant addition and I think she’s going to coast by for a little bit. But I don’t think she’s interesting., and I don’t think she brings anything visually. In that way she’s a bit of an upgraded Eileen because of her history. But again, she’s always been AROUND scandal but not fully inserted into it. Nor do I think her ‘real life’ is that scandalous. I think she leans on Charlie Sheen stuff to stay funny. I just don’t know what she wanted out of this, aside from maybe visibility and a career bump. She should’ve been friend of. Andy in this segment is REALLY plowing through Denise questions. This is like a casting interview. History with Charlie, Charlie and Aaron, Eloise’s history… this feels odd for a reunion. This act is over, we end on Denise crying. My prediction: They needed filler before Camille comes out and the drama starts. This is a long time to spend on Denise but no stroy. ACT 3 This stuff about Eloise is extremely touching, and it would make me sad too watching it. However, on a macro level, this is indicative of there being not much to talk about with this specific crew until Camille arrives. KYLE’S LIFE AND ANXIETY, AND SUPER DUMB VIEWER QUESTIONS Kyle is really overwhelmed by dogs. Kyle was on The Healer for her aches and pains. Andy asks Rinna, do you regret bringing Kyle with you to your mammogram?? WHO IS ASKING THIS QUESTION?! Andy asks Dorit how her gigantic breast implants affect her breast exams? WHAT ARE THESE QUESTIONS?! Kyle and Teddi went to the therapist together…? I don’t like Teddi for Kyle. I think Kyle is on her way to becoming a much stronger housewife, but Teddi is going to drag her down. Andy: “You said all hail the queen” about Kyle. Why? Erika: Look at us today. (so serious ugh) Erika acknowledging Kyle as the leader of teh group is fascinating. I don’t know erika to be one to declare someone else as a leader type. Kyle eats it up. I WISH THIS WAS SAID AROUND CAMILLE SO SHE WOULD HAVE TO KISS THE RING! I think it’s awkward to admit that because an unspoken hierarchy is much more interesting dramatically. Now no one will really go up against her. ACT FOUR It’s so interesting to me that Camille just comes out and sits and greets everyone. If Andy introduced her and she walked on and sat down, it would’ve created more tension. Andy congratulates Camille on her wedding and immediately turns to Kyle to ask about how Mauricio got so high. My TV cannot handle these flashes to Camille’s new home. We discuss Camille’s last name. Then we get into pre nups. Camille takes a swipe at Denise and says “Sorry I didn’t follow you that much.” Camille says that she never bought fancy clothes and didn’t shove bon bons in her face, she worked hard. So random… Camille is so awkward with her jabs. Lunch break. 10 minutes later… Denise with the money stuff… was that bite about not being a greedy fucking whore even about Camille? This feels like a reach. Also this was not worthy of 10 minutes later Act FIVE Andy says this year the group shared some X Rated secrets that would even make Cardi B blush. ...what does that even mean? Ugh this happy ending stuff. They wouldn’t shut up about this. All this disucssion about Aaron’s penis and this screaming in shock is so childish. Rinna talks about dancing for harry hamlin. She reminds me of Carlton Kresley here. ACT SIX ANDY TALKS ABOUT TEDDI’S PARTICIPATION IN THE DOG SCANDAL This clip of teddi saying she will never tell a lie… so annoying. Teddi starts by apologizing and saying she mad a mistake and she never should’ve gotten involved. Teddi says she got a phone call that LVP couldnt bring up the dog drama on camera because of her friendship with Dorit, so Teddi was put forth as the person to talk about it because she has a bad history with Dorit. Teddi admits she was angry and made a mistake. Denise: what were you angry about? I love how invested Denise is in finding out the truth. Apparently Dorit refused to go to an after reunion meet up because Teddi was there. Andy doesn’t understand why Teddi never spoke to LVP directly. Teddi said she would stop by vanderpump dogs all the time because her kids had a class near there. Teddi claism she was never close with Blizzard. Teddi tells Andy she went along with what LVP’s employees said because he was her head guy. Andy turns to Teddi and says for someone who is the queen of accountability, it’s amazing that Teddi had such a lapse. Dorit piles on with, at what point did you realize you didnt want to go through with it? In part 2, Camille goes after everyone and then storms off. In this moment, it all made sense. You know, when it comes to these three part reunions, I’m always looking to teh first episdoe to tell me.. What’s the narrative thrust? Whose drama am I really clingign on to as the central anchor for this three parter? Seeing the preview for next week I realized, it’s not about person x vs person y… this reunion is Camille’s 3 part audition to get that diamond.

Sat there and did nothing! You're hired! Andy gets a job – the kind of job that requires a lot of responsibility. He'll be riding shotgun for Jim Buck, the stagecoach driver. He sits on top of the stagecoach beside the driver and carries a shotgun. If the stage gets held up by outlaws, the shotgun man is there to protect the stagecoach, the luggage, and the passengers. Matt's name is on the line Andy got this job on Matt's recommendation, so Matt's own reputation -- his good name -- is on the line. If Andy does a poor job, it will reflect on Matt. So, of course, Matt has a personal interest in Andy's success. You can imagine how relieved Matt is when he sees Andy get back to Dodge City with his boss. In Jim's Bad Books But Matt soon finds out that things did not go well between them. Jim is very angry and Andy is in his bad books. Andy knows he didn't live up to his new boss's expectations and he admits it to Matt, but Jim thinks Andy is downplaying it in the telling. He is making it seem less serious than it really is. According to Jim, Andy deserves to be punished. In fact, he deserves to be 'tarred and feathered'. That kind of punishment is meant to hurt not only the body but also the pride. What did Andy do that got his boss so upset? Quizlet: Have fun learning the keywords with English-Chinese Flashcards and Games. DL097 Keywords on Quizlet Andy is certainly in Jim Buck’s bad books! He didn’t fight the outlaw who held up the stage. What do you think of Andy’s reason? Do you think Andy was right or wrong in how he handled the holdup? Tell us all about it in a comment below.
Spotted, Aaron arguing over season 3, episode 18 of The CW's "Gossip Girl," entitled "The Unblairable Lightness of Being." Where's Andy? What can an IT Managed Service Provider learn from McDonald's burgers and UK crime drama, The Sweeney? In episode 12 of TubbTalk, recorded at Old Trafford Stadium, home of Manchester United Football Club, I speak with Andy Pope, a former MSP owner and the Managing Director of The Consort Group. Andy and I discuss:- Why Andy refers to Break/Fix as "Sweeney Support". Who are the Consort Group? What have been the major changes in the MSP market? Tackling the IT Skills Shortage - Hiring vs Outsourcing Understanding Digital Natives and Digital Migrants What should IT employers look for in new hires? How McDonald's demonstrate consistency through processes. How to deliver profitable client support services. The value in standardisation for Managed Services. If Andy were to start an MSP again today, what would he do differently? Why becoming a trusted advisor is more profitable than being a techie. The value in sticking to what you're good at. The power in IT companies collaborating over competing. Who is the better super-hero, Superman or Spider-Man? Transcript Richard Tubb: Hi everyone, Richard Tubb here and today I'm joined by Andy Pope of the Consort Group. How are you doing, Andy? Andy Pope: Not bad, thank you. Richard Tubb: Andy and I are currently on the MSP Raise Your Game road-show going to cities across the UK. And today we’re here in Old Trafford, home of Manchester United, probably the world’s most famous football team. Andy Pope: Well…. Richard Tubb: As an Arsenal fan, you disagree? Andy Pope: Well, we’re going to the Emirates Stadium tomorrow so… Richard Tubb: Well, there we go. Andy Pope: There we go, we’ll see the difference then but… Richard Tubb: We’ve had good audiences of MSPs, aspiring MSPs, and IT companies talking to us. Tell us a little bit more about your background within the MSP industry and what led you to being the MD of Consort Group. Andy Pope: Well, I came from a retail background. I put back in at the beginning just to say that I kind of am able to speak to people and understand what customers want. More so than from a techie background. So I came in to IT from that way. And I’ve actually been the MD of an MSP, as they are now for the last 15 years. I’ve recently left them and that’s something I’ve done by myself, and left them to do their thing with their owner which is great. And during that process we went from—if you like a classical, I don’t call it “great fix,” I call it “Sweeney Support.” Richard Tubb: Ok, tell me more. Andy Pope: Well, Sweeney, the car door’s open, the engine’s running outside the office, as soon as the phone rings it’s down, “Go! Go! Go!” Everyone slides across the bonnet, gets in the car and off they shoot to remove a newspaper from a keyboard. That’s actually a true story. One of my first days there suddenly the phone rang, “Oh, there’s a strange noise coming from my PC.” They we’re based in New Market which is about a 45 – 50 minute journey for someone to go up there and literally take a newspaper off the keyboard to make the funny noise go. So there we go, that was the challenge but yeah, we successfully moved them from Sweeney Support to— Richard Tubb: And I was going to say, for any of our American listeners who’s watching you and not familiar with Sweeney, I’ll put it in the show notes, you’re in for a treat. Andy Pope: Yeah. Richard Tubb: Sorry, Andy, continue. Andy Pope: So yes, we managed to do the right thing and moved them from Sweeney to Managed Services. And during that process we’ve come across—there’s been a lot of changes in the IT industry since then. I think the first PCs that we were putting in were either clone build-yourself PCs valued at roughly ₤1,500 - ₤1,200, now ₤250. And the margin’s gone from that completely. Software again has changed an awful lot. We’ve gone through lots of changes and now Cloud is here.
