Thanks so much to Megan for commissioning this episode, as well as commissioning the voyeur live-watch of it! I'm blown away at all the twists and turns this episode. Omg but it's a rollercoaster, and I'm in love with the way the show gets us to feel the same confusion and whiplash that Josh feels when he's first told that Rebecca is pregnant and then told that she's not. Then, to top it off we get Paula's pregnancy...and omg I wanted to die. I swear to god. Then there's the whole thing with Josh and Greg both bailing. God, but I hope that Greg winds up getting on that plane. I have no idea what happens to him from here or if he even stays on the show if he goes, but NEITHER of these dudes is good for Rebecca and it's about time they were taken off her list of options. Thanks so much for listening, and I will be seeing you again in a few weeks with a new episode!
Thank you again so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! This is a hell of a premier episode to the season. I'm so delighted by the turn this has taken, because by no means does sleeping with someone mean that you are together. Now Rebecca is desperately trying to turn the. fact that they are screwing into something more substantial, and Josh is resisting every step of the way. Meanwhile, we find out what had happened to Greg. He hadn't gotten back with Rebecca because he was pulled over the next morning, still drunk from the night before. I theorize that he'd been heading to Rebecca's to apologize, but he never gets there. He's arrested and has spent the last month in mandatory AA meetings. This show is so good, y'all!
Thank you so much to Emery for commissioning this episode! I'm so excited to get a little more momentum going on this particular show. This episode, Rebecca decides she's going to try to settle for someone who is available and interested, rather than continuing to cling to Josh (haha yeah right) and it goes even worse than you would expect. I love Rebecca so much. She's so deeply flawed and struggling with so many legitimate issues, and yet she's also trying her best, in her way. She's doing what we all do, which is muddle through the bullshit and occasionally trying to learn something from it. Sometimes. Maybe. We'll see! Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
In episode 4, I'm Going On A Date with Josh's Friend, Rebecca delves into the world of hook up apps and healthy life choices. Taking advice once again from the butter commercial she finds herself on a date with Greg. Meanwhile Josh applies for a job at his happy place...

Suzanne and Amber ask the universe for signs as they watch Rebecca asks herself her most pivotal question to date: "All signs point to Josh ... Or is it Josh's friend?" What will the signs say? Should Rebecca be with Josh, or with Greg, or with herself? Will Paula ever pee on that stick? Is Darryl also tracking Karen's Ovunation cycle? Host Suzanne welcomes new Southern California correspondent Shea to bro out about Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Episode 104: I'm Going On A Date With Josh's Friend! We get some much-needed bro-adjacent insight from Shea and ponder the important questions: Who has better facial hair: Justin or Xandar? Who in their right mind would ever breathe, let alone sing, in a port-o-potty? Why is Rebecca self-sabotaging and so afraid of adulting? Is Paula being insightfully thoughtful or a Debbie Downer when she discourages Rebecca? Are cauliflower tacos a crime against humanity?
