Doch was ist mit klangvollen Titeln wie The Golden Girls, Miami Vice, The Cosby Show, Seinfeld, Knight Rider, The A-Team und ALF?

At Summer Game Fest 2026 I stopped by Saber Interactive's booth and went hands-on with a stacked lineup — and it might be the most fun I had on the floor.First up, Hellraiser — gory, gritty, and exactly what horror fans want. Then Stuntman, a genuinely fun revival of the classic arcade stunt-driving game with big set-piece energy(think Knight Rider and Back to the Future). And Turok is back, with co-op, a third/first-person blend, and class options (healer, melee, run-and-gun) that make it a blast to jump into. Fast, pick-up-and-play fun across the board.
In this thrilling episode of Tangent Station, hosts Kev and Bang Willis dive into an unexpected news story about a Knight Rider replica causing chaos in New York City. Listeners are treated to humorous tangents about sentient 1980s cars, the peculiarities of AI, and the nostalgia surrounding classic action figures. As KITT, the iconic Trans Am, darts through Manhattan and Brooklyn, speeding tickets pile up, mystifying both locals and the museum where the vehicle supposedly resides. The hosts ponder the implications of AI, reminisce about their favorite childhood toys, and explore the intersection of reality and science fiction.

First, some fun news bits on Knight Rider's K.I.T.T., how cats land on their feet, and a Times article debunking facilitated communication. Then, we talk Trump assassination rumors. This is a hot topic, and one that has many skeptics and level-headed people divided. A new poll shows a majority of Americans surveyed either thought the attempts on Donald Trump's life were staged, or were unsure whether they were staged or authentic. Trump, who has a long history of weaponizing conspiracy rumors about others, is now at the center of widely believed rumors that dismiss his assassination attempts as false flag operations or distraction efforts. We go into a list of reasons why Americans have been primed to distrust the assassination news, and look at the most common "gotcha" items the conspiracy crowd brings up as proof. Why are many people (ourselves included, to a degree) prone to believing an extraordinary claim based not on hard evidence but on our view of Trump's larger-than-life personality?

The hosts also briefly mentioned an upcoming Amazon Audible promotion commercial. Keith discussed a case in Malaysia where a French teen faced charges for licking and posting a video of a vending machine straw, which led to public nuisance and mischief charges. Terry shared a story about Colorado Parks and Recreation removing a 250-pound black bear from a home using tranquilizers. Jill shared news about Jericho High School in New York having 21 valedictorians in their graduating class, with over 300 students total, highlighting the high academic achievement in the area. Keith shared a story about kamikaze dolphins, explaining that while Iran claimed to use mine-carrying dolphins against US warships, the US Navy’s Marine Mammal Program has a long history of using dolphins and sea lions for mine detection and harbor security, though not as weapons. Keith noted that modern drone technology has developed robotic versions of marine animals with cameras for surveillance purposes. The conversation then shifted to Terry, who began discussing a story about an Illinois museum receiving a speeding ticket for a replica Knight Rider car that hadn’t moved in over a decade. Jill's Trivia Quiz Jill then hosted a John Wayne trivia quiz where participants answered questions about the actor’s films, family members who appeared in his movies, and various details from his career. The quiz covered topics including which actress appeared in the most John Wayne films, which of his sons acted in nine of his movies, and which location he frequently used in his films. Terry's Top 10 List Terry presented a humorous top 10 list about reasons why Donald Trump’s cell phone has not been released to the market, including issues with alerts, autocorrect, battery life, and GPS functionality. The discussion revealed that Keith had not heard of the Trump phone before and questioned its existence, leading to a brief conversation about other celebrity-branded products. Anchor Topic Keith discussed his experience using AI tools, particularly Gemini AI through Chrome, to generate show notes, titles, and image descriptions for their podcast, sharing specific techniques he found helpful for creating content while blind. Email and Final Thoughts Keith shared humorous emails and voicemails, including jokes and stories sent by listeners. An infectious disease specialist weighs in, as more Canadians who were on the cruise ship that suffered a hantavirus outbreak return home. It's no secret Canadians have reduced their travel to the U.S. -- but a researcher tells us the boycott is hitting much harder than we can see from border crossings alone. Athletes ran the Palestine Marathon for the first time since 2023 -- and one Palestinian medalist tells us it's not easy to separate sports from politics in the occupied West Bank.A proposed ban on "bromated flour" in New York State would have a major effect on two of the Big Apple's most famous products -- because it's a key ingredient in bagels and pizzas. This is it, folks. The final episode of the podcast. Please join us one last time for an episode that sees us discuss the entirety of The A-Team Season 5. It plays out like any old episode, except maybe with a few tears. As a side note, thank you for riding with us through The 80's Years: from Knight Rider to Airwolf to The A-Team, every explosion, freeze-frame, and ridiculous plan in between. Whether you've been here since Ciampa and Klein Blow Your Mind, jumped in during Mullets and Memories, or found us somewhere along the way, we're grateful you let us talk 80s nonsense in your ears. We couldn't have made it to the end without you.-----Find our 2023, 2024, and 2025 Summer Series from Episodes 207-211, 240-245, 271-276Find The A-Team Years from Episodes 190 - 288Find The Airwolf Years from Episodes 96 - 189Find The Knight Rider Years from Episodes 1 - 95The 80's Years Opening & Closing Theme by: Steve Corning, http://thinkfishtank.comThe 80's Years Logo Design by: Luke LarssonFollow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/the80syearsInstagram: @the80syearsThreads: @the80syearsBluesky: @the80syearsTikTok: @the80syearsEmail us: letusblowyourmind@gmail.comCall our Hotline: (207) 835-1954
Bonnie Bartlett and William Daniels have been married for more than 74 years, making them one of the longest-married couples in entertainment history. The two met as young actors at Northwestern University and built parallel, decades-long careers in television and film, most memorably starring together as husband and wife on St. Elsewhere, a collaboration that led to a historic moment in 1986 when they both won Emmy Awards on the same night. Over the years, William became a television icon as Dr. Mark Craig on St. Elsewhere, the voice of KITT on Knight Rider, and beloved teacher Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World, while Bonnie carved out a seven-decade career with standout roles on Little House on the Prairie and St. Elsewhere. Their marriage has not been without challenges and the two sat down with Amy and T.J. to discuss how their relationship has stood the test of time.
