They say there are 1 trillion smells, but we think that's bogus. What if there are only 16 smells which everything is derived from. I know that sounds crazy to you, but in the universe I'm from that's a totally normal thing to believe in among other things. Send your emails to: podcast@radiotv.solutions Music By Justin Wabs

SummaryRV toilet problems can be frustrating, but most of them come down to a few basic areas: the bowl seal, water valve, floor flange, black tank, or water supply. In this episode of The Smart RVer Podcast, Eric walks through common RV toilet issues, including leaks, bad odors, a bowl that won't hold water, toilets that rock, and toilets that won't flush properly.Rather than assuming the whole toilet needs to be replaced, Eric explains how to narrow the problem down and look at the simple causes first. A worn blade seal, a loose water fitting, a clogged black tank, a cracked valve, or mineral buildup can often be diagnosed without tearing everything apart. He also explains the difference between a regular clog and a pyramid plug, and why knowing that difference matters. This episode also includes practical advice on what to check before buying a replacement toilet, such as the water line location, floor flange condition, bolt pattern, and available space. Eric also shares the “hold the line, turn the nut” approach for RV water fittings to help prevent leaks when making repairs. The goal is simple: help RVers understand what is going wrong, fix what they can, and avoid spending money on parts they may not need.Show NotesRV toilet problems are among the things every RVer wants fixed quickly. A leaking toilet, a bad smell, or a toilet that won't flush right can turn a good trip into a frustrating one fast. The good news is that many RV toilet problems are easier to understand once you separate the issue into the right category. In this episode, Eric breaks down the most common RV toilet problems and explains where to start looking before assuming the toilet needs to be replaced. What We Cover in This EpisodeThe bowl won't hold waterIf water slowly disappears from the bowl, the problem is usually the blade seal or ball seal. That seal helps hold water in the bowl and blocks odors from rising from the black tank.Water is leaking behind the toiletA leak behind the toilet often points to the water valve, the supply line, or a loose connection. Eric explains why it is important to check fittings carefully and avoid overtightening plastic parts. The toilet rocks or feels looseA rocking toilet may be caused by loose bolts, a damaged floor flange, or a soft floor. This is one issue you do not want to ignore because movement can lead to leaks or further damage.Bad smells in the bathroomOdors can come from a bad seal, black tank problems, venting issues, or poor tank treatment habits. The smell is not always the toilet itself, so it helps to look at the whole system.Clog vs. pyramid plugNot every blockage is the same. A simple clog and a pyramid plug are two different problems, and they require different solutions. Eric explains the difference and why black tank habits matter.Toilet replacement tipsBefore replacing an RV toilet, check the water line location, floor flange, bolt pattern, space behind the toilet, and the condition of the floor. A toilet may look like a simple swap, but small details can make installation harder than expected.Water fitting tip: hold the line, turn the nutEric also explains a simple rule for working with RV water fittings: hold the line steady and turn the nut. This helps prevent the water line from twisting and creating a leak during repairs.Main TakeawayMost RV toilet problems are easier to fix once you identify their source. Start with the simple things first: seals, fittings, water supply, the floor flange, the black tank, and the venting system. A little troubleshooting can save money, prevent damage, and keep your RV trip moving in the right direction.Resources Mentioned in this Episode: RV Toilet Compact Water Valve Simple Upgrade KitRV Pex Fittings and Tube - What to Keep in Your Tool BoxRV Water Lines and Fittings Made Simple in 2026Spray Port Fitting Video - Fix It Before It BreaksRV Pex Line Water Repair Kits - A must-have for any RVContact Us - Call, Text, Video, EmailOur Online Resources: The Smart Rver YouTube Channel - Check Out Our No-Nonsense YouTube VideosSunpro Mfg - RV Sunshade, Windshield Covers & Slide Out Awning FabricsHot Boat Ropes - Marine Cordage- Anchor Lines, Dock Lines, Tow Lines, etc.Top Rated Podcast - The Smart RVer Podcast Website
Hour 2 of The Drive featured a deep dive into Illinois football's evolving 3-3-5 defensive scheme, with a special focus on the safety positions and the versatile "Chief" role. The guys discussed how the position functions as a hybrid defender, blending responsibilities of a nickelback, linebacker, and safety while creating flexibility for defensive coordinator Bobby Hauck's aggressive approach. They also examined which current Illini players are best suited for the role and how the position could impact Illinois' defensive success in 2026. The show also previewed Team USA's critical FIFA World Cup matchup against Australia. Kurtis and Evan broke down the Americans' strong start to the tournament, key players to watch, and what a victory would mean for the United States' chances of advancing out of Group D. They also looked at Australia's strengths and potential challenges the USMNT could face heading into the highly anticipated match. Plus, the results are in from this week's Tuesday Draft as listeners crowned the winner of "Best Smells of All Time." From fresh-cut grass and bacon to movie theater popcorn and a new car interior, the guys reviewed the fan voting and debated which scents truly deserve championship status. Illinois basketball's non-conference schedule continued to take shape as the Fighting Illini added matchups against in-state foe Eastern Illinois and Ivy League contender Penn. The games provide Brad Underwood's squad with opportunities to build its résumé while giving fans a closer look at another highly anticipated Illinois roster. In Major League Baseball, trade deadline speculation heats up as the Cardinals weigh whether starting pitcher Dustin May could become one of the most coveted arms on the market. After another dominant outing against San Diego, the question becomes whether St. Louis views May as a key piece of a playoff push or a valuable trade asset. Meanwhile, the Cubs face a similar dilemma with Seiya Suzuki. Despite Chicago's recent surge, Suzuki's bat could attract significant interest from contenders if the front office decides to capitalize on his value before the deadline. The hour wrapped up with a spirited Tuesday Draft as the crew selected The Best Smells of All Time, featuring favorites ranging from fresh-cut grass and movie theater popcorn to bacon, campfires, and the smell of rain after a summer storm. Salwa and Selma Mikou are the founders of Paris-based Mikou Architecture. Born in Fez, Morocco and educated in Paris, they have spent the last two decades reimagining the relationship between the built environment and the cultural landscape. After honing their craft under two of the world's most iconic architects, Jean Nouvel and Renzo Piano, they founded their own studio. For them, architecture is a living interaction with landscape and what they call the Atlas of Resonance, interpreting the hidden layers of a territory, geology, memory, and craft. It is a philosophy that rejects the generic, seeking instead to weave together technological innovation with local materials. Whether it is a mosque in the north of England or a hybrid innovation hub in a former royal manufactory, their work asks a fundamental question: How does space shape the way we think, learn and remember? They were selected by Rem Koolhaas to represent Morocco at the Venice Biennale. Most recently, they were commissioned by Hermès to create a 17,000-square-meter facility that bridges industrial performance with poetic expression. We started off the show with a mystery. Ally has superhuman smell since she's pregnant, and a new offputting smell made its way into the studio. Surprisingly, it wasn't Jake. It led to an impromptu blind smell test where Ally smelled each and every member of the show, and the culprit will surprise you. What's the right end of year gift for a teacher? Klein gave his kids' teachers an elaborate gift before giving them awkward hugs and yelling "HAGS" at them. It didn't go well. We heard stories of your least impressive awards, which included a 'work life balance' award, a 'best answer & participation' award, and a man who received a bucket of lobsters for 'clawing his way to the top' of the sales team. We heard even MORE audio of Vanessa at pride, and once more we got additional sound bites. Thank you ladies and gentleman!

At the heart of their practice is a belief that architecture is not just about building—it's about shaping relationships: between people, between past and future, between technology and craft.(0:03) Architecture as a Living Transformation(1:42) The Intuitive Knowledge of Living Art(2:20) Preserving the Human Core of Expression(3:14) The Medina and the Geometry of Childhood(6:35) The Social Spaces of Rooftops(8:27) The Twin Dynamic and Confrontation with 'l'autre'(10:21) Contextual Echoes & Traces of the Site(12:12) The Temples of Water(13:15) The Mosque as Pure Spatiality(15:49) Building Culture with Yves Saint Laurent & Pierre Bergé(16:57) The Wast ed-dar (وسط الدار) and the Heart of a Building(18:31) The Smells and Sounds of Home(19:44) Balance, Nature, and SisterhoodEpisode Websitewww.creativeprocess.info/podInstagram:@creativeprocesspodcast

Ok, there is one thing we can all agree on. Rashee Rice is not worthy of playing for the Kansas City Chiefs. The terrible teammate, terrible friend and terrible partner is a continuing crap show that isn't good enough to stay. Reports, as he's in jail for 30 days, indicate he broke his probation by getting high. Other reports try to tamp it down and say this should have been served a year ago. Then another report that he's hurt and out for two months. Stop. Just stop. On to less controversial things like NPR having two listeners, yes two, that gave them gifts totaling $113 million and they still want to lay off employees. The Trump ballroom is suddenly a military installation and security facility for the White House. Yes please. Bill Self opens up with the Athletic and his non retirement sounds even more confusing. The new, biggest star in the NBA should be the last straw that leads to raising the hoop a foot and making the court bigger. I got an email from a strange source encouraging me to get FIFA Fan Fest tickets. This doesn't pass the smell test. And in our Final Final an overnight clerk at and Exxon station tries to steal money without hurting his employer and gets arrested.

Smells like the commodification of teen spirit! In this episode, we welcome beloved friend of the pod and returning guest Marshall Watson (he/him) to talk all about Nirvana and the grunge culture of the 90s.Together, Marcelle, Hannah, and Marshall dig into the anti-establishment ethos of Nirvana, the grunge genre as an act of musical resistance, and what happens once counter-culture becomes mainstream. To do this, they've obviously gotta dig into Adorno and Horkheimer's theory of the culture industry (and talk a little bit about Reagan, which they only do when Marshall is here…).If your young adult years were soundtracked to Nevermind or you just love railing against the mainstream, you're going to dig this episode.Related listening:Golden Girls x Sex Positivity with Marshall WatsonThe Craft x Feminist RageWorks Cited:Adorno, Theodore, and Max Horkheimer. 2019. “The Culture Industry: Enlightenment as Mass Deception,” in Philosophers on Film from Bergson to Badiou: A Critical Reader, ed. Each episode looks at a unique object of study (something popular now or from back in the day) and over the course of three distinct segments, Hannah and Marcelle apply their academic expertise to the topic at hand.*Materialist Critique is, at its simplest possible level, a form of cultural critique – that is, scholarly engagement with a cultural text of some kind – that is interested in modes of production, moments of reception, and the historical and ideological contexts for both.Music Credits:“Shopping Mall”: by Jay Arner and Jessica Delisle ©2020Used by permission. Cher Butler did not go looking for the supernatural. It came looking for her. Abandoned in a car as an infant and adopted into a home filled with foreign idols and artifacts, Cher grew up surrounded by demonic activity she could not explain and could not escape. Nightmares, shadows moving through the house, visions of things no child should see. She slept with the lights on until exhaustion took over. It was not until she got saved at 19 in a tent revival that the dreams began to shift and God started speaking through scripture written across window sills in her sleep. What followed was a decade of hands-on deliverance ministry that started with a single phone call from a woman asking if suicide would send her to hell. Cher invited her over to pray and watched the woman's face contort, her voice drop to a man's register, and her hands claw at Cher's mother. Cabinets moved. Smells drove people into the yard. And Cher discovered something that had been true since childhood. The spiritual realm was not theoretical for her. It was personal. This conversation is a Christ-centered, Christ-first look at what happens when someone steps into the war between kingdoms and refuses to back down.
