No music news this week. September 28th was a big day for album releases alone to talk about. Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter V" finally dropped along with Logic's newest album, legendary rap group Cypress Hill's new album did as well and so did several other rap projects. Me and my dad had a listening session that weekend and covered most of them. So I give my opinions on some of the ones I was looking forward to and which I thought was the best of the bunch (5:20). Then we get into the center of this week's episode: my experience seeing one of my favorite actors, writers, comics, musicians, etc., Mr. Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino, on his (alleged) farewell tour (50:53). So relax, grab a snack and listen to what should be a fun and enjoyable episode. Did you listen to any of the albums that dropped on 9/28? Which was your fav? Are you a fan of Donald Glover/Childish Gambino? Have you seen him live? Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter V" is finally out and the guys break down the album and what the stand out tracks on the project were. Is this Lil Wayne's best album yet? The guys then break down the Brett Kavanaugh sexual allegations situation. Are democrats using this situation as a way to stall a Kavanaugh nomination? Has there been any concrete evidence against him? The guys then break down a "Last Week Tonight With John Oliver" video that goes over Televangelists and how U.S. tax law allows these television preachers to get away with their scam. Finally, the guys get philosophical and ask whether or not men should have an identity outside of their family. Enjoy this episode and thank you for Hanging With Apes.
