L'azzurra di marcia Antonella Palmisano è tornata alle gare in modalità "via il dente, via il dolore" con tre gare in tre settimane. Una gara di 5000 metri sul tartan dello stadio Galli di Tivoli (Roma) il 3 ottobre, dove ha fermato il cronometro sui 21 minuti netti e ha siglato il suo nuovo personale sulla distanza. Poi il fine settimana successivo è volata in Repubblica Ceca per una delle gare classiche della marcia, la 20km di Podebrady (88°edizione), vincendo la gara e agguantando lo standard olimpico. Che fino ad allora era nelle gambe e nella testa, ma non in tasca. L'atleta delle Fiamme Gialle ha infine illuminato la Festa dell'Endurance di Modena (17-18 ottobre 2020) con la vittoria del titolo italiano sui 10km su strada, chiudendo in 41'28'', nuovo primato italiano sulla distanza (resisteva da 23 anni). Ora la concentrazione è tutta per la prossima gara, l'ultima di questo risicato calendario, una 20km ai C.d.S di Marcia a Ostia, il 6 dicembre.

    V této epizodě hovořím s Iljou, který tvůrcem velmi populárního blogu Podebrady.ru. Tento portál pomáhá rusky mluvícím studentům se studiem v České republice. Ilja ZČP podporuje a díky článku na jeho blogu se zvýšil počet posluchačů tohoto podcastu.  

   This episode was recorded on a train last winter. I kept postponing publishing it because I always thought it was a bit weird. I have now changed my mind, though.     It features my good friend Nrup from India. We were travelling from Podebrady to Prague and we decided to kill time by playing a well-known word game and recording our struggle as a ZEP episode. I wanted to raise the challenge so I modified the rules of the game in such way that we were supposed to use adjectives only. Especially because of me, we lost the game in a ludicrous fashion. 

As you know, these days I don't publish episodes which are over 1 hour long. Unfortunately, I accidentally published the entire episode last time, even though it was meant to be divided into 2 part. It should explain why the jingle was missing.    When I told this to Marija, eager learner of English she is, it was actually herself who suggested meeting up to record part 2 (and part 3 which will be published soon). In this episode Maria reacts to the comments we received from the listeners about part 1, Marija answers the question whether she actually listened to part 1 herself, she talks about her impression of Podebrady, she also mentions her uncle who lives in Detroit, and we end the episode going through adjectives which are associated with the zodiac sign of Aries. 

It had been a while since the last native speaker on the podcast and that's why about a month ago I took my friend Kevin to a pub in Podebrady (in the photo) to do something about this. The entire conversation was unprepared and we resort to ramble here and there. I made couple of really bad jokes in my attempt to be funny while having conversation with a British person. However, there are some interesting topics we go through as well such as how I met Kevin, board games, Kevin's plans of becoming a doctor and finding himself a Czech bride, the city of Bath and it's mysteries, learning English and much more.
