MAS Iron Outside of training deficiencies, low iron is one of the most common reasons for poor results during workouts and races. Recent research indicates that almost 56% of male runners and 86% of female runners suffer from an iron deficiency that severely hampers performance. The problem with eating iron-rich foods or supplementing with traditional iron supplements is that iron is notoriously difficult for the body to absorb and utilize. In fact, only about 25% of dietary iron found in animal sources is absorbed while 17% or less of the iron from plant sources is absorbed. But MAS Iron has found a way to combat these absorption issues to ensure you can get the iron you need for health and performance. By combining the most efficiently absorbed form of elemental iron with clinically proven ingredients to aid in absorption, MAS Iron performs like no other iron product on the market. In fact, clinical research has shown the combination of ingredients in MAS Iron can quadruple absorption and increase bioavailability by 30%, all while reducing GI issues by 50%. Check out the research and the results for yourself at masedge.com/iron. Runnersconnect fans will automatically save 20% on any purchase.
What does it mean to create authentically, free from the weight of external validation? This episode explores the power of creating as though it will all be discarded, embracing the raw, unpolished process of self-expression. It's not about crafting perfection for others but about stepping into honesty and confronting our own shadows. By embracing both our hopes and fears, we unlock a world of freedom where authenticity reigns. Excellence isn't a static concept—it evolves. It's the courage to begin, to persist, to stop what no longer serves, and to walk away when necessary. Sometimes, excellence means donning the armor, but perhaps the greatest courage is learning to shed it. This episode invites you to embrace flaws, cracks, and imperfections, knowing that true bravery lies in baring yourself fully to the world. Dylan Mortimer did the NYC Marathon. If you know him, you know that he had two double lung transplants. One in 2017 and one two years later in 2019.His second transplant was in NYC and Dylan talks about what it was like to go back to the streets he could barely walk, pre-transplant. It so touching as Dylan chairs his story with us. I appreciate all the ways Dylan continues to inspire our CF Community. Our last question is: will he do another one? What do you think he might say? Also, I bet we might see some of his well-known glittery artwork featuring some running in the future. We can only hope! Childhood trauma impeded your spiritual growth and thus your spiritual journey. Trauma is the #1 cause of emotional immaturity, whereas unhealed beings appear as adults, although think, feel and behave as children with immature mindsets. Adult children have a collapsed sense of self. We do not know how to set healthy boundaries, and often we have no awareness that we are doing anything wrong. Our lives are dictated by compulsive thinking that is subconscious and therefore we remain unaware and asleep within a matrix of dysfunction unaware we are unaware. In this episode, Lisa A. Romano, a Breakthrough Life Coach and pioneer in emotional wellness transformation, shares how childhood trauma impedes the spiritual journey. Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is often described as a persistent and excessive worry about various aspects of life, including health, finances, relationships, and social interactions. While anxiety is a natural response to stress, those with GAD experience it in a way that can be debilitating. As a Life Coach specializing in adult child trauma issues, I have seen firsthand how the seeds of anxiety can be sown in childhood, particularly when a child experiences neglect or emotional unavailability from their caregivers. In this episode, Lisa A. Romano Breakthrough Life Coach and Award-Winning Author, tackles generalized anxiety disorder with wisdom, compassion and understanding. Lisa helps those who are struggling with generalized anxiety recognize that they are not broken. GAD is a valid response to unhealthy, persistent dynamics a child was powerless to control. From our friends at Personal Best (CBC) —Will is a personable, charming guy from a small town. The problem is that once he gets chummy, people expect him to maintain that level of camaraderie - and it's a big responsibility. Once he started being a “local” and got friendly with the staff at his favourite shawarma place (the one that serves Tex Mex style pre-shredded cheese) his fear of commitment got in the way and he hasn't been back.

The Olympics have ended some weeks ago, however, the many lessons we can glean from the Olympics live on. I took 3 massive lessons among many that I will delve into in this episode: 1) Noah Lyles teaches us to "Lean In" 2) Sydney Mclaughlin-Levrone pushes herself to a "Personal Best" 3) Sha'Carri Richardson after disappointment shows us how to be "Resilient" Learn how we can take these lessons displayed on the field and apply them to our lives.
On this episode I'm joined by the newest addition to the Whitetail Bloodline Team and Wisconsin native Quinton Thryselius. He was born and raised is Wisconsin where he got a passion for the outdoors and hunting at a young age. From starting a long hunting and tagging a long with his old man to killing public land deer solo, Quinton has had one hell of a journey getting to where he's at today. One of the craziest parts of this episode is when we talk about his 2023 public land bow buck that happen to be his personal best buck to date and I doubt you've ever ever of a sweet November morning hunt like this one. From walking in the woods and being charged by a wolf that was only feet away, to mustering up the courage to continue on with his hunt and ending up shooting a buck only a few hours later, it was a hunt and memory ghat Quinton will remember the rest of his life!! We also talk about bear hunting and the two black bear he was fortunate to fill his tags with. I appreciate Quinton for hoping on this episode and excited to see what the future holds for us as we're now partnered up together!!

Cancer, and having a stoma, has changed DJ and broadcaster Adele Roberts' perception of her own body for the better. It's shown her it's ok to cry, and it's ok to ask for help. In this chat with Fearne, Adele talks through the symptoms of bowel cancer, what the experience has taught her about positive mindset, as well as the realities of going through chemo. They also chat about why it's never too late to embrace and practice a new passion later in life, and why it's important not to write off the entire day just because it started a bit crap. Personal Best, Adele's memoir, is out on the 11th of April. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
