When Quinlan Wilhite started Qmulative, his brand was … himself. Then it took off. | RGR 065 Quinlan started Qmulative in 2009 as an online feed about his interests: skateboarding, cars, hip-hop, street art. A few years later his grandmother taught him to sew. He took classes to get better, went full time in 2016, showed his work at Tucson Fashion Week, and in 2018 was named Lifestyle Designer of the Year at Phoenix Fashion Week. Now Qmulative is a cut-and-sew street wear brand, but it’s still all about Quinlan and his unique view on fashion. His biggest boost came from linking his very modern brand to another that’s more than a century old: His Arizona-inspired T’s, a combo of Quinlan and the 48th state, are a huge hit. ______ Rise Grind Repeat Podcast powered by EIC Agency ______ Hosted by Dustin Trout Produced by Andrei Gardiola __________ Check out the full video episode at: https://bit.ly/3dlwjnJ https://spoti.fi/2Mgfpe6 https://apple.co/2MiQdUv For more information visit our website at https://eic.agency/ We are also on Instagram @EveryImpressionCounts

With only 5 years of sewing experience under his belt, Quinlan Wilhite’s passion of street culture, cars, and music turned into a career when he decided to monetize his hobby of sewing. To win the title of Phoenix Fashion Week Designer of the Year, Wilhite had to rewire his perspective to be able to take his brand to new heights. Qmulative designs vanguard wears for the urban individual. Action Steps to REWIRE: Get out into the marketplace. Shake hands or set up an interactive booth. Be seen by going to venues that inspire you and align with your brand. Collaborate and align with brands that make sense. Cold call or send a blind email asking to build a potential relationshipl. The worst you can get is a no. Always challenge yourself. Get out there and participate in the fashion scene in whatever capacity you can. Try getting in deeper water than you can swim in while always looking for a YES! This podcast was one of the most intense and interesting ones to say the least. Standing at 5'7”, Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger (5-1-0) is about to step into the biggest match of her career. Her 3-0 win streak will be tested on Friday, October 9th live from Las Vegas. She will be fighting for the RFA StrawWeight Title against Zoila Frusta (12-4-0). Needless to say, we were extremely happy that she took time to let us speak with her leading up to RFA 31. Jocelyn is extremely unique in her background being not only a fighter, but a mother, wife, and twin sister. Alongside her many accomplishments, she is an advocate for the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. We sat down with her so that she could let people know the importance of these centers and to tell those fighting cancer that they are not fighting alone.
