Stephanie works with The Colibrí Center for Human Rights, which is an NGO with the mission to end migrant death and related suffering on the U.S.-Mexico border. They collaborate with families and forensic scientists to find the missing and help identify the dead. Since they began their Missing Migrant Project in 2006, their team has collected more than 3,000 reports from families searching for loved ones. They compare the information the families provide about missing people to the information medical examiners determine from examining people who have lost their lives. Through their DNA Program, they collect DNA samples from families who wish to have their DNA compared against that of unidentified individuals in the hope that these comparisons will give families the answers they need. https://www.colibricenter.org It was an insightful conversation! Meleena, a.k.a. Dj Humblelianess, has lived a very eventful life. We started with her experience with modeling which took her to both coast of the US. As in a adult in DC started to really get into music which she had an adept intrigue and curation ability since a child. This propelled her to working for a club there behind the scenes, seeing the likes of Fort Knox Five. Familial ties brought her back to Tucson and then Mexico. This is a simple announcement in regard to this TalkingSelf series of mine that has appeared infrequently. Plain and simply, all the things made for this series were made to be consumed with headphones, earphones. How ever you can digest it with two channels. On the extreme end I would say these episodes should be consumed in silent darkness jajaja But that is a personally preference. I hope you guys enjoy this series.
