Sam Merritt is the creator behind the food blog Sugar Spun Run, where she specializes in sharing sweet and simple dessert recipes from scratch, with the occasional savory comfort food mixed in. Although Sam has been baking as far back as she can remember, she works hard to ensure that bakers of all skill levels will find success when they bake a Sugar Spun Run recipe. Each recipe is carefully tested and perfected before Sam shares them on her website. Sugar Spun Run desserts have been featured on a number of websites including TLC, Better Homes & Gardens, and People. Sam has also contributed to online magazines such as Country Living, Woman's Day, and Parade. Before she became a full time food blogger, Sam worked as a research coordinator at a hospital.
