„Łamie konstytucję” czy „konieczna dla bezpieczeństwa”? Debata o rynku krypto w Radiu Wnet

Radio Wnet

Play Episode Listen Later Dec 10, 2025 48:33

W „Odysei Wyborczej” Radia Wnet Krzysztof Skowroński poprowadził debatę poświęconą ustawie o rynku kryptoaktywów, zestawiając odmienne stanowiska dwóch ekspertów:prof. Krzysztofa Piecha – ekonomisty, profesora Uczelni Łazarskiego, dyrektora Centrum Technologii Blockchain;Michała Gromka – eksperta ds. przestępczości finansowej i kryptowalut, doradcy OBWE i Rady Europy. Jeśli można czyjąś firmę zamknąć decyzją urzędniczą, bez realnej możliwości odwołania się do sądu, narusza to zasadę zaufania obywatela do państwa i ochronę własności. Grożą nam skargi do Komisji Europejskiej i postępowania przed TSUE. Trzeci kluczowy zarzut to konkurencyjność. Widzę je codziennie, pracując z nadzorami i służbami.

We recorded this week's episode live on stage at the Alberta Craft Brewing Convention in Red Deer, Alberta, in early October. The thematic through line is farm-to-glass brewing—something that's not that hard to do there, since a significant amount of the malt used by North American brewers is grown in the province. Major maltsters such as Canada Malting (https://canadamalting.com) and Rahr (https://rahr.com) have plants in the province, and some farmers who grow grain for these larger maltsters, such as Red Shed (https://www.redshedmalting.ca), also operate their own malthouses to produce smaller batches for local brewers. Joining the conversation are three award-winning brewers who represent different corners of the industry in Alberta: Chelsea Tessier of Polyrhythm Brewing (https://www.polyrhythmbrewing.com) in Edmonton, Jen Rogers of Wild Winds (https://www.wildwindsbrewery.ca) in Bridgeland, and Sarah McCambridge of Blindman Brewing (https://www.blindmanbrewing.com) in Lacombe. Agriculture plays a role in the conversation, of course, but the conversations covers interesting collaborative projects, malt freshness, unique processes, beers that tap into different angles of malt flavor, and a lot more. In this episode, the panel discusses: blending craft pils with two-row in hazy IPA matching hops to base malts hitting European malt specs in North American barley horse-drawn barley farming and harvesting replacing specialty malts such as Carafoam with locally produced chit malt producing more stone-fruit ester precursors with floor-malted pils malt unique specialty malts such as wood-fired chocolate malt And more. The beer world is filled with achievements. A few weeks back the Great American Beer Festival handed out its annual awards. Around Denver there were other competitions like Alpha King and Krispy King. Brewers might be crowned in “best of” lists by newspapers or local magazines. Way back in the day Wynkoop Brewery would hand out its beer drinker of the year award.Other milestones are more private and personal. Don Tse, recently hit an important beer milestone. For nearly thirty years he has been chronicling and cataloguing every beer he has consumed. The number is impressive as is his commitment to the cause. What is regenerative farming and what does it have to do with beer? In this episode, presented by Proximity Malt (https://proximitymalt.com), we tackle that question with experts from each phase of the malt supply chain—farmer, maltster, and brewer. Joining the podcast: Walker Modic, environmental program director at New Belgium (https://www.newbelgium.com) and Bell's (https://bellsbeer.com) Derek Heersink, barley farmer and brewery owner (https://www.herkswerks.com) Zach Gaines, commercial director at Proximity Malt (https://proximitymalt.com) In this episode, they share their perspectives on what is and isn't possible through regenerative agriculture; how its context-dependent approach to soil health builds resilience in the face of increasing climate challenges; and how breweries can articulate value to consumers while managing their own supply-chain risks. This episode is brought to you interruption-free by Proximity Malt (https://proximitymalt.com), the first new-generation, full-scale, regional malting facility in North America, leading the way in malt supply with premium grains; advanced technology that maximizes flavor, performance, flexibility and efficiency; regional sourcing for closer, fresher grain; and a deep focus on closing the loop between farmer, maltster, brewer, and the communities that support each. The idea came to life and has now presented hundreds exhibits and events around the country. It's important and necessary work, one everyone in the industry should be supporting.  The center also hosts the annual Beer Culture Summit, a multi-day, multi-disciplinary experience that tells the story of beer, its people, its history, and its importance.  As the center expands, it recently announced its first Beer History Studies Fellow, Onteya Zachary.
