When life doesn't make sense, it's okay to bring your honest questions and frustrations to God. Looking at the book of Habakkuk, we see that while God welcomes our complaints, He also invites us to trust His heart even when we can't understand His plans. Our circumstances may not change immediately, but worship shifts our perspective, reminding us that God is faithful, sovereign, and worthy of our trust. No matter what we face, our response can always be worship.-----------Join us for service online or in-person in Grand Rapids every Sunday at 9AM & 10:45AM.Decided to follow Jesus? Chuck Todd delivers a masterclass on the single most underappreciated force in presidential politics: the primary calendar, which he argues reveals exactly what kind of nominee a party actually wants long before a single vote is cast. He explains that the Democratic decision to put South Carolina first is by design a test of Black support and viability in the South — and one that's deliberately engineered to hurt progressives, who have consistently gotten thumped in South Carolina primaries. He believes that Democrats have badly underinvested in South Carolina and Mississippi, meaning a little TLC could plausibly turn South Carolina into a genuine swing state. The calendar's practical effect, he argues, is that it sets up well for Wes Moore (if he runs) and is nearly as favorable for Pete Buttigieg, while raising the stakes for Kamala Harris to the point that if she doesn't win South Carolina, she's essentially finished. He is sharp on the flaws of the rest of the early window — Nevada isn't the test Democrats claim because the culinary union shapes everything and Arizona would better measure the Latino vote, Michigan is theoretically ideal but is getting torn apart over Israel in ways that could hurt Democrats in a general, and Virginia (now the last stop before Super Tuesday) reliably serves as a bulwark for moderates because it's a center-left rather than hard-left blue state — and he lays out what the ideal calendar would look like for progressives and for MAGA respectively. He's blunt that Ken Martin's leadership of the DNC has been a major problem, questioning whether Democrats really want him refereeing the nomination fight when the party's money troubles are a reflection on Martin himself. He then turns to Trump backing down on Iran yet again — halting strikes less than 12 hours after issuing fresh threats — calling the entire Iran adventure easily the dumbest thing a president has done this century, especially now that an administration once committed to non-proliferation appears to be helping the Saudis with nuclear technology. He notes Democrats nominated Troy Jackson to replace Graham Platner, making the Maine Senate seat winnable again even as Trump has made the races in both Maine and Michigan harder, and closes with a run of telling contrasts: the White House openly bragging that it added tariffs to help big tech, data centers emerging as the top issue for voters in many states, Trump calling LeBron James a racist from the Oval Office while Obama quietly reached out to offer Caitlin Clark advice and comfort — a perfect encapsulation, He argues, of one leader who wants to divide and another trying to turn the temperature down. Finally, Chuck hops into the ToddCast Time Machine to revisit the ratification of the 14th amendment at a time when the idea of birthright citizenship is being called into question, and answers listeners’ questions in the “Ask Chuck” segment. Then, sports business reporter John Ourand — who shares an origin story with Chuck Todd at Sports Business Daily — joins the Chuck Toddcast for a deep dive into the money reshaping professional and college sports. Ourand walks through the sale of the Seattle Seahawks as a signal that the era of family-owned NFL franchises is ending, explaining how team valuations have roughly doubled in just three years thanks to new tax advantages and the simple fact that NFL ownership has become the ultimate status club for the ultra-wealthy. He and Chuck dig into whether these eye-popping valuations constitute a bubble — the NFL alone signed $110 billion in media deals over two years — and whether the sports media "middle class" could be facing a real reckoning even as streamers thrive with smaller game packages. Ourand offers a fascinating look at how leagues are navigating their relationship with the networks and production companies that broadcast them (the NFL is deliberately careful not to hurt the legacy networks it depends on), and defends the enduring value of investigative sports journalism, pointing to Pablo Torre's Clippers reporting as a reminder that nobody, including executives at ESPN, wants to be remembered as the person who killed real journalism at the network. The conversation turns to how sports and politics are increasingly colliding. Ourand contrasts Michael Jordan's studied political neutrality with the modern reality of athletes and leagues getting pulled into culture war fights whether they want to or not, noting the UFC fight at the White House pulled huge ratings and that Trump's involvement in overturning a disputed red card call may have actually boosted viewership. He praises Caitlin Clark for navigating the culture wars more gracefully than almost anyone in sports today, draws a compelling parallel between Clark and Larry Bird, and argues the WNBA under commissioner Kathy Engelbert isn't doing nearly enough to capitalize on the attention Clark has generated — in part because leagues remain skittish about race and sexuality debates they'd rather avoid entirely. Ourand closes with a detailed look at the messy economics of college sports, explaining how the biggest programs are effectively subsidizing smaller ones, why a real collective bargaining structure may eventually be inevitable, and why the sport's true power brokers could soon demand a much larger share of the revenue pie for themselves. Finally, Chuck hops into the ToddCast Time Machine to revisit the ratification of the 14th amendment at a time when the idea of birthright citizenship is being called into question, and answers listeners’ questions in the “Ask Chuck” segment. Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
n December of 2015, Joseph Duggar sat in front of a TLC camera and told the country exactly what kind of man his brother Josh really was. He described a secret life. He described a man who preached one thing and lived another. He said it broke his heart. In 2026, an arrest affidavit out of Bay County, Florida, says Joseph Duggar asked a nine-year-old girl to sit on his lap during a family vacation in Panama City Beach, and now his own words from that interview read less like grief and more like a confession he didn't know he was giving. Joseph Duggar has pleaded not guilty. He's out on a six hundred thousand dollar bond. Tony Brueski walks through the Florida case, then rewinds to 2003, when Jim Bob Duggar handled his oldest son's confession by taking him to a family friend with a badge instead of a police station, a decision that meant no charges were ever filed, and a decision that gets darker once you learn what happened to that man later. That same 2015 interview also exposed two of the Duggar daughters to details the original police reports had shielded them from. Then the frame widens. In Hamden, Ohio, sixteen children were pulled from a house belonging to the Siders family, four of whom now face sixteen counts each of endangering children. Different state, different income bracket, same underlying method: kids kept off the books, no school, no doctors, everything handled inside the house until the state stepped in. Joseph and Kendra Duggar face a nearly identical set of charges out of Arkansas, involving their own four children, since removed from their home. One family posted bond and flew home. The other's patriarch walked out of jail because the county couldn't cover his hospital bill. Same play, very different outcomes, and Tony Brueski isn't done asking why. In this episode of the Trial Lawyers College Podcast, Amanda Harber and Andy Delaney welcome Harris County Public Defender and 2025 TLC graduate Reshae Ridley to share her experience at the College's Three-Week program at Camp Dawson. Shay reflects on her path from military service and public service to criminal defense, why she believes psychodrama is the foundation for authentic advocacy, and how vulnerability transformed both her approach to clients and her courtroom skills. One family lived in the poorest corner of Appalachia. The other had a network television deal worth tens of thousands of dollars an episode. They could not have started further apart. They end in exactly the same place.Sixteen children were found in a Hamden, Ohio house on June thirtieth of 2026 — the oldest eighteen, unable to spell her own name, all of them in a twelve-by-twelve room. Four members of the Siders family face sixteen felony counts each and have pleaded not guilty. Months earlier, the state of Arkansas removed all four of Joseph and Kendra Duggar's children, and each parent was charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of false imprisonment. Both pleaded not guilty. Both sets of kids were kept off the books. Both sets of parents were charged with endangerment. Both sets of children are now in state custody. Then the split. A seventy-three-year-old man in the smallest county in Ohio could not post a three hundred thousand dollar bond, and a judge released him anyway because the county could not afford his hospital bills. Joseph Duggar posted six hundred thousand dollars and was flown home with his father in the courtroom.Tony Brueski walks the paper trail on both — the 2003 stern talk with a state trooper who never filed a report and is now serving fifty-six years himself, the statute of limitations that expired before police ever opened a file, and the eleven-season spin-off TLC premiered five months after canceling the show. All parties have pleaded not guilty. All of them get a trial. But only one family has a checkbook.END LINKS:Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? There is a tape almost nobody has gone back and watched, and it is the most important thing in the Joseph Duggar case.December of 2015. Joseph Duggar, twenty years old, sitting in front of a TLC camera talking about Josh. He does not hedge. He describes a man living a secret life. He describes how you would never guess it was the person standing up preaching about being true to your wife. He says it broke his heart. In March of 2026, Joseph Duggar was arrested. According to the Bay County, Florida arrest affidavit, he asked a nine-year-old girl to sit on his lap during a 2020 family vacation in Panama City Beach. He has pleaded not guilty.Tony Brueski takes the question true crime listeners have been fighting about since the arrest — Joseph or Josh, which one is worse — and gives a real answer instead of a shrug.Getting there means going back to July of 2003, sixteen months after Josh Duggar first confessed, and looking hard at the man Jim Bob Duggar chose to handle it. It means looking at the teaching this family was raised on, which framed going outside the chain of command as the dangerous move. It means watching what happened to two Duggar daughters on Fox News in June of 2015.And it means reading two statements. One from the Duggars. One from Kendra's parents, the Caldwells, who lost a house over it.Joseph Duggar's Florida case was continued on July 14, 2026. Next court date is September 15.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Nobody made him do it. That is the part worth sitting with in the Joseph Duggar case. When the Josh Duggar story broke in 2015, most of the family said nothing. Joseph did not. He went on a TLC camera in December of that year and described his brother's secret life out loud, for an audience of millions. He said you would never suspect the man standing up preaching about being true to your wife. He said it broke his heart. Then came 2020, and a family vacation in Panama City Beach, and an arrest affidavit that Bay County, Florida investigators filed in March of 2026. Joseph Duggar has pleaded not guilty and demanded a jury trial.Tony Brueski puts the two brothers side by side and refuses to dodge the question. Josh Duggar was convicted by a federal jury in December of 2021 and is serving 151 months. Joseph is home in Arkansas on bond, and his Florida case was continued on July 14, 2026.But the spine of this story is not a brother at all. It is a decision Jim Bob Duggar made in July of 2003, sixteen months after his son first confessed to him — a decision that guaranteed the three-year clock ran out before any investigator ever opened a file. There is a doctrine underneath that decision. There is a television interview from June of 2015 that most people have forgotten. There is a jail email. And there is a second criminal case in Tontitown, Arkansas that has nothing to do with Florida.Twenty-three years, two sons, and one question nobody in that family has ever answered.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Before Joseph Duggar was a defendant, he was a witness for the prosecution of public opinion. In December of 2015, with the Josh Duggar scandal still burning, Joseph sat down for TLC and gave the most specific condemnation any Duggar sibling has ever given on camera. He named the mechanism. The secret life. The public preacher, the private man. The person nobody suspects.Five years later, an arrest affidavit filed in Bay County, Florida places Joseph Duggar on a family vacation in Panama City Beach with a nine-year-old girl. He has pleaded not guilty and is out on a six hundred thousand dollar bond.Tony Brueski runs the tape, runs the affidavit, and answers the question straight: which Duggar brother is worse.Along the way — what Jim Bob Duggar actually did in July of 2003 instead of calling the police, and who he handed his son to. Why an anonymous stranger and a talk show are the only reason any of it ever reached a police department. What the family did to two of the Duggar daughters on national television in June of 2015 that the police reports had gone out of their way to prevent. And the second case — the one in Arkansas, involving Joseph and Kendra Duggar and their own four children, which has nothing to do with Florida, and which the family has called ridiculous. Two brothers. One house. Twenty-three years apart. And two family statements about the same little girl that tell you everything.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? What does God really desire from His people? The book of Amos reminds us that worship isn't just about the songs we sing on Sunday—it's about how we love, serve, and seek justice throughout the week. God calls His people to hate evil, love good, and care for those who are overlooked. As followers of Jesus, our faith should move beyond words into action, reflecting God's heart for righteousness and compassion wherever He's placed us.-----------Join us for service online or in-person in Grand Rapids every Sunday at 9AM & 10:45AM.Decided to follow Jesus? In this deeply reflective episode of the Trial Lawyers College Podcast, Maren Chaloupka sits down with longtime TLC graduate, trial lawyer, author, and teacher Robin Zephier. Robin shares the family stories, Indigenous traditions, and spiritual teachings that shaped his life, from the oral histories passed down by his grandmother to the legacy of his great-grandfather, Mato Niampi ("Saved by Bear"). Together, they explore how those lessons have influenced Robin's work as a trial lawyer, his commitment to serving others, and the profound impact of Trial Lawyers College on his understanding of storytelling, psychodrama, and human connection. The conversation also introduces Robin's moving new poem, Riding the Silent Pony, written for the College's Walk in Silence tradition: a meditation on self-discovery, listening, and reconnecting with the person waiting within. This episode is an invitation to slow down, honor the stories that came before us, and remember that the most important journey is often the one inward.

Founder & CEO of Mom Bomb MomBomb.shop & MomBomb.org Women are underestimated. I sit in board rooms with capital investors and other decision makers and I know that there are women with better ideas, and still, they don't get a chance. – Heather Roberts Welcome to the story of an entrepreneurial mother of 6 who made the discovery of her life during the most difficult time in her life. In the spotlight, Heather Roberts, Founder & CEO of Mom Bomb, MomBomb.shop, a social impact company that makes all-natural bath bombs while funding mombomb.org to support women in need. Why bath bombs? Heather explains: “One day, my body just said “enough” and I started having seizures. Over the next ten months, I saw 16 doctors and some of them said I was crazy. Then, one neurologist took the extra time to study my medical reports carefully and she diagnosed me with a rare condition nicknamed “the suicide disease” because it is so painful, people kill themselves.” Trigeminal Neuralgia is a chronic pain condition that causes sudden, intense, electric shock-like, stabbing pain to the side of the face. Finding the right medication for Heather took more time, too, and she found relief laying in a warm bath with bath bombs just for relief. However, once she started reading the ingredients in bath bombs, she learned that they are filled with “endocrine disrupting garbage” that can cause sleep dysfunction, headaches and more. That's when Mom Bomb came to life. She learned how to use all-natural ingredients to create safe, soothing bath bombs for moms who just might need a little TLC at the end of a long day, and then she asked herself: what if I sell this product to women who need to relax and use the proceeds to help other moms in crisis?”Mom Bomb is a social impact company and in bringing her concept to market, she has redefined what it means to do well, by doing good. Many companies are following suit and that's okay with Heather. “Mom Bomb.org is why I get up in the morning. We're gonna give our money away and money is going to be the by-product of doing the right thing.” Inspiring? We think so. Go ahead and hit that download button. #womeninspiringwomen #thestorybehindhersuccess #trigeminalneuralgia #entrepreneur
After seven years of competing in both powerlifting and bodybuilding, working 60-hour work weeks in TV news, navigating heavy grief at the start of my business, my body needed some TLC. Hormonal dysregulation, adrenal insufficiency, and insulin resistance — all before thirty. My body had been through it.This episode is me ranking everything I currently do to look and feel the best I ever have in my thirties (and no gatekeeping) — peptides, HRT, training, skincare, facial treatments, macros, and a few things that have nothing to do with any of that..— Watch a short video on how to make at least $20k online in your coaching business, or we'll coach you for free. https://audit.impactcoachacademy.com/Connect with Taeler on Instagram. https://www.instagram.comLearn more about Impact Fitness Coaching Academy, and how we've helped 5,035 coaches scale to 6 and 7-figures online and generate $330M in revenue. https://www.impactcoachacademy.com/home Want more proof our methods work? https://www.trustpilot.com/review/impactcoachacademy.com

What happens when you pit the neon-soaked, high-energy pop of the mid-80s against the smooth R&B and heavy hip-hop beats of the mid-90s? In this episode, Dave and Rob go head-to-head in the ultimate musical time-travel debate: 1985 vs. 1995. By pulling up the data and looking at the official top 5 year-end hits on the US Billboard Hot 100 for each year, the guys break down how a single decade completely transformed the landscape of popular music. We're matching up the smooth saxophone of Wham!'s "Careless Whisper" and Madonna's untouchable "Like a Virgin" against the genre-defining power of Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise" and TLC's legendary double-feature of "Waterfalls" and "Creep." Dave and Rob unpack the cultural impact, the production styles, and how these tracks have aged over the years. Hit that play button to find out which mid-decade lineup took home the crown, and let us know in the comments below: are you team '85 or team '95? What does it take to stand beside a client when the stakes couldn't be higher? In this episode of the Trial Lawyers College podcast, Amanda Harber and Andy Delaney sit down with renowned Texas criminal defense attorney Patrick McLain to discuss his nationally recognized representation in the Prairie Land detention center case, the challenges of defending politically charged prosecutions, and why the search for truth must always come before the pursuit of victory. Patrick shares how psychodrama, focus groups, story discovery, and other TLC methods shaped his trial preparation, strengthened his advocacy, and helped him remain grounded even in the face of difficult verdicts. The conversation also explores the value of the TLC community, the role of the F-Warrior alumni network, and why the real measure of a trial lawyer is the willingness to keep fighting for justice, regardless of the outcome.
