Trey Andrews talks about his upbringing, an intervention by a respected high school teacher that changed his attitude, his Church youth group experience, and what led him into the Marine Corps and to the Mortuary Affairs Unit. Trey shares how they taught him to treat the fallen with the honor and dignity they deserve. He relates some of the brutal situations he encountered and with raw transparency, Trey discusses some of the conditions he observed and the harmful mental and emotional burdens he carries from those experiences.Jim and Trey discuss the need to ask for help when you are carrying more than you can bear. Jim affirms Trey for having the mark of a mature man in recognizing when he needed help and in reaching out for it. Trey had his faith harshly tested when dealing with death, and he praises God for seeing him through the challenges and getting him past some dark days and nights. There is strength in acknowledging you need help. Trey is in the process of getting help. He hopes he influences others to reach out when they need help. Jim concludes with an appeal to listeners to put weightiness into the eternal life that is in Jesus Christ.
