For half a century, women wore bras that had been designed by men. Sophia Berman knew there had to be a better way. She’s spent that last 3 years launching and growing Trusst Lingerie, a company that has re-engineered the bra for larger-busted women. In this conversation, Aaron and Sophia discuss what she’s learned about running a company, how 3-D printing failed to live up to the hype, and how to develop a product and take customer feedback. In Episode 20 of StartUp Burgh, I sit down with Sophia Berman co-founder of Trusst Lingerie, where every bra is designed and engineered by a team of women. Their proprietary technology obviates the underwire for a significantly under-served audience.
Getting close and personal to your customers’ needs is a sure fire way to attain customer loyalty and respect. My guests on this episode of Hustle & Heart TV understand this philosophy and know how to keep their customers uplifted and comfortable! Meet Sophia Berman and Laura West of Trusst Lingerie, this pair is revolutionizing the way women experience wearing their bras, in fact they have coined the term "supporting the world's favorite assets". Even more exciting, these young entrepreneurs used 3D imagining and 3D printers to create their ingenious undergarment with no under wire. After hundreds of prototypes...success is theirs! They are now enjoying the early stages of growth and development and taking non-stop orders for their "wonder"ful 3D printed bras.
