Welcome to the final episode of Season 1 of the Apologia podcast! In today's episode we dive into the topic of sexuality.

"Who am I?" Connor and Mike tackle a difficult conversation today about sexual identity, LGBTQ+ and how it relates to the Bible. Mike takes us to the first two chapters of Genesis to go back to the basics of our identity - our value in God.

"When bad things happen to a Christian, is it God's will? Did God orchestrate that event or does he simply allow it?" This is the question that Mike and Connor are diving into in this episode of the Apologia podcast.

What is church? In today's episode, Mike and Connor are diving into the difference between “church” the building and “church” the group of people that fill that building. Mike kicks off the conversation with a history lesson on when the church began and how we have arrived to church today.

The Bible is likely the most impacting book in the history of the world - 100 million Bibles are sold world-wide per year. In this episode we break down why this is a legit book. We look at how to approach and understand the Bible. As Christians, we base how we live our lives off this book, so it's important to look at the importance of this topic!

In this episode we look at "Why does the Bible oppose science and vice versa?" Science in and of itself is constantly evolving. The Bible isn't trying to prove anything, it's God speaking over years and years. Time and time again, science has proven the Bible true. Ultimately, if science is seeking truth, it ends up near the Bible. God is ultimately beyond science discovery, science is the opportunity to discover more about Him.

The heroes of the Bible are clearly dominated by men. The church's reputation for misogyny precedes this conversation as there has been undeniable abuses in power by men in the church. In this episode, we look at how women are portrayed in the Bible and how Jesus looked at them. We look at: - the difference between egalitarian and complementary relationships, especially within their roles within the church and within the family. - Are women allowed to preach? - Are there roles exclusively allowed for men? At the end, we also do a quick blitz discussion on “What is hell?” and “Can you lose your salvation?”

The politics of the Bible don't look like politics in America of today. So how do we glean wisdom from the Bible in how to interact within politics? In today's podcast we look at what the government looked like in Biblical times and how that impacts how we interact as Christians with politics today.

"Does it really matter what we believe, we're all going to end up in the same place." Mike and Connor explore what some of the largest religions are in the world, including the rise of "none" and how Christianity relates and differs from them. Mike includes a great description of the Trinity you might not have considered.
