Friends, we can't believe it has been five months of laughter, tears, shared stories, belonging, vulnerability, disability, God's Kingdom and over 1.6k plays!!! Today we wrap up Season One with a fun twist of putting each other in the hot seat. We look forward to creating ideas and content over the summer to kick off Season Two in September. Wrapping up with a recap of Episodes 12 and 13 as both episodes complimented each other so well we decided to end Season One with Travis Bush and Bayley Melton. But we have one more surprise for you next week!!!

In this episode, we re-live a tragic accident that left him surviving a stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries. As Wallick fought hard for his life, two angels would intercept to start the long road of recovery he was about to endure. The next generation is full of hope if these two men are leading it!  In today's episode we share the stories of how serving those with disabilities impacted the lives of Andrew Mitchell and Avery Echols.  Summer after summer they volunteer for an entire week (sometimes two!) to be an example of Jesus and caring for an entire family impacted by disability.  Hopefully after listening to this episode it may peek your curiosity to have your life impacted by this incredible experience as well.  

In today's episode you will hear how one Instagram direct message led to a beautiful friendship.  Our guest Jessica Lidh shares her motherhood experience to being a mom to Elsa, along with her three other children.  Jessica walks you down her path of the unexpected and you will feel a mother's love so deeply.  Little did we know when shared with her today was going to be her release date, that it is her birthday.  Happy Birthday Jessica!!!!  Listen closely at the end to hear how she also has a special place on our podcast team.   Show Notes:  Fika: (fi:ka)...pronouced fee-ka.  It is an afternoon tea or coffee along with a pastry or sandwich.   The main difference between a coffee break in American versa fika in Sweden is the intent behind the whole thing.  Fika is about slowing down, while in America it is more about being a rushed break and working harder.  In Sweden, fika is about getting in touch with your body and the people around you and recharging on a deeper level.  Oh, who doesn't need more of this in their life?!?!

Hi Friends, the day has arrived! We have released our first episode where we share with you who we are and why we started this podcast. This journey has been fun and long. You will hear this taping was recorded in November (2021) with hopes of releasing it sooner; however, we felt it was best to wait till the new year. And here we are! Two friends who love Jesus and were brought together by disabilities. One by chance, one by choice. We look forward to sharing not only our story, but the story of others one episode at a time. We are not about being perfect and polished, but rather raw and real. Will we have hiccups along the way? You bet. And that is what makes us...well, us. If we strive for perfection, we will never get off the ground. What is of utmost importance to us is sharing stories and growing along the way. We never want a guest to feel intimidated and make them feel they have to be perfectly polished to be on our podcast. We want to meet them exactly where they are.
