In this latest episode of The Big Red Bus, See Red Fred and the Podfather Doug Thonus dive headfirst into the current disaster unfolding with the Chicago Bulls. With Coby White and Josh Giddey — the team's two best players and starting backcourt — both sidelined with injuries, the Bulls find themselves staring into the abyss with no clear timeline for either player's return. Fred and Doug break down what this means for a team already walking a tightrope between relevance and collapse. They discuss how the loss of both guards exposes the roster's lack of direction — and how it magnifies the front office's long-standing failures in roster construction and long-term planning. The conversation also explores what this moment means for the future:• Tank or Try for Spots 4-6 1:00• What are the next steps with Coby? 18:00• Matas Struggles 24:00 With frustration, honesty, and a little gallows humor, Fred and Doug unpack the reality Bulls fans don't want to face — but can no longer ignore.
In this episode, we share a deeply personal and heart-breaking story following the loss of a loyal companion and best friend. While camping, Coby's dog was shot by illegal spot lighters while lying at his feet outside the tent. It's a moment that no hunter, pet owner, or outdoorsperson should ever have to experience, and it has left a lasting impact that goes far beyond a single night in the bush. This episode carries a strong message condemning illegal hunting and irresponsible shooting behaviour. We talk openly about the damage these actions cause—not only to animals and people, but to the reputation of ethical hunters and the future of legal hunting access. The conversation calls on the wider hunting community to take a firm stance, to speak up, and to shun those who engage in illegal spotlighting, poaching and reckless conduct. It's a powerful reminder that ethical behaviour, accountability, and respect for life must always come first. For the latest information, news, giveaways and anything mentioned on the show, you can find all the links here. The Chicago Bulls may finally be getting the reinforcements they desperately need.K.C. Johnson reports that Josh Giddey and Coby White both fully practiced and could return as soon as the Bulls take on the Utah Jazz. Giddey continues his near-triple-double pace despite his ankle injury, while White—coming off a career season—looks close to making his long-awaited debut.Haize also breaks down the status of Zach Collins, who could return shortly after November 24th, giving Chicago a massive boost to its frontcourt rotation. Then we shift to the trade market:Instead of chasing Anthony Davis, Haize highlights realistic and impactful trade targets including Domantas Sabonis, Daniel Gafford, and Yves Missi, explaining why each fits—and why the Bulls must be smart with timing. We also dive into:

Coby White has spoken — and Bulls fans need to hear him. In today's episode of Chicago Bulls Central, Haize breaks down Coby White's strong message to the media about why he fits perfectly with the Bulls' current system. No ball-stopping. No ego. No friction. Just quick decisions, winning basketball, and a player who understands his role on an elite offensive unit.We dive into why the narrative surrounding Coby White's “fit” is outdated, how his post-All-Star numbers (24.5 PPG on nearly 50% shooting) back up his claim, and why adding him back into this rotation won't disrupt the team's flow — it'll enhance it.Then, Haize turns toward Coby's potential return on the upcoming West Coast trip, what his recovery looks like, and why the Bulls need him back during this brutal four-game stretch. Finally, we preview Bulls vs Bucks — a matchup that will test Chicago's three-point defense, rebounding discipline, and overall activity. Giannis is playing like an MVP, the Bucks offense is humming, and the defense is flimsy. If the Bulls want to win, they'll have to outwork Milwaukee in every category.High-level insight. Real Bulls talk. No fluff.

The Bulls finally took their first L of the season… but hey, it happens. The real question is: how do they bounce back tonight against a Philly squad that's been lighting the NBA on fire?On today's episode, I'm breaking down everything Bulls fans need to know before tip-off:✅ Ayo might play… or he might not✅ Coby is STILL out (and it's getting annoying)✅ Maxey is dropping 30+ like it's nothing✅ VJ Edgecombe looks way too comfortable for a rookie✅ And Philly's defense? Mid. But elite at guarding the three. Weird combo. We're talking all the keys to the matchup — how the Bulls slow down those guards, why Vooch could be the secret weapon tonight, and why Chicago's SIZE is quietly one of the biggest advantages in the league right now. Seriously, when Josh Giddey is your 6'8 point guard and your “smallest starter” is 6'5… that's wild.Plus, we listen to some voicemails from the Bulls family.Shoutout to Immortal Beast and Bryan Washington for keeping the energy right.Tap in, Bulls Nation. Let's talk bounce-back vibes.

In this episode of Spirit Box I'm joined by plant magic practitioner Coby Michael, author of The Poison Path Grimoire. We explore the strange, intoxicating world of poisonous and psychoactive plants—their history, their spirits, and their place in witchcraft and dark herbalism.Coby shares how his work with these plants led him to classify them into Saturnian, Mercurial, and Venusian types, each carrying its own current of power: the baneful and chthonic, the entheogenic and mercurial, the seductive and Venusian. We talk about how these correspondences emerged through practice and research, and how he incorporates glyphs, runes, and ritual into his work. Our conversation also turns to the wild, generative forces of nature—trickster currents linked to Pan and Dionysius—that challenge order and offer paths of transformation. We look at the way these energies surface in borderlands, wilderness, and even in the chaos of cities.Coby speaks openly about his own healing journey and recovery from opioid addiction, and how plant spirits such as belladonna became unlikely allies in that process, echoing their forgotten role in medicine and ritual. It's a rich and far-reaching discussion—one that moves between folklore, plant spirit communication, vampiric herbs, and the strange balance between poison and healing.Show notes:instagram.com/poisonersapothecaryfacebook.com/poisonersapothecarypatreon.com/poisonersapothecarythepoisonersapothecary.com Keep in touchhttps://www.patreon.com/cw/spiritbox

In this episode, Coby and I sit down to have a chit chat about our beloved pets, both the ones that are nestled deep into our hearts now, and the ones that are gone but not forgotten. We talk about how they showed up at critical times in our lives, the ways they healed us, awakened our intuition, and most importantly, taught us about participating in the highest good for the greatest number. Pets, like anyone or anything we care about, give us opportunities to feel safe trusting and listening to our intuition-unabashedly. We are having a lot of fun with this new format and hope to bring you more in the future! What would you like us to discuss? And most importantly, what is your favorite candy/Reeses variety? :)InstaFBwww.susangorman.netFor audio sorcery: cobygray@gmail.com
