Today, we’re joined by Coby and Cory Cotton of Dude Perfect, who share how a simple idea filmed in a backyard with friends grew into videos watched by millions around the world on YouTube. They reflect on the early days of creating trick shots just for fun, the challenges that came with unexpected success, and a medical emergency that reminded them to slow down and make room for what matters most. Next, we hear from author and grief counselor Jennifer Marshall Bleakley, who shares how losing her golden retriever, Bailey, opened her eyes to the depths of pet grief, the memories that remain, and the love we carry after saying goodbye. So many people have been so hurt by other people. How kind of God to sprinkle ambassadors of His grace all across this planet in the form of animals. God is constantly pointing us to animals throughout Scripture, encouraging us to look to the eagle, to look to the lion who He feeds, to look to the ant who’s busy at work.” - Jennifer Marshall Bleakley “Animals are the ones that we can be 100% ourselves with. They show up for us on the good days and the bad days and are as impressed by us when we feel like we have it all together and when we’ve just fallen on our face. I really do think it is a beautiful picture of God’s love and His feelings toward us that we don’t have to try to clean ourselves up to come to Him. He just loves us as we are and just desires for us to be present with Him.” - Jennifer Marshall Bleakley “I discovered firsthand that God is not afraid of our questions and that He will hold us through them.” - Jennifer Marshall Bleakley “I think it’s vitally important for us, especially as believers, to honor the grief that people feel when they’ve lost a pet. It is such a kindness and a gift to hold space for someone who is grieving, to be a compassionate witness and just say, ‘I see you and I’m going to stay here with you in the hurt and in the heavy.’” - Jennifer Marshall Bleakley “Invite people to invite us into their pain and then to weep with them, to stand with them in that pain, to sit with them, and then gently start to walk with them toward the light of healing.” - Jennifer Marshall Bleakley ________________________ Enjoy watching these additional videos from Jesus Calling YouTube channel! They discuss the difference between faithfully enjoying God's blessings and being irresponsible with our finances, while exploring how Christians can make wise financial decisions that honor the Lord without living under unnecessary guilt. If you've ever wondered how to balance generosity, stewardship, and making memories with your family, this conversation is for you.

On this episode of Power House, Zeb Lowe sits down with longtime mortgage executive, consultant and podcast host Coby Hakalir for a candid conversation about one of the housing industry's most contentious topics: credit reporting, FICO scoring and the future of mortgage regulation. The discussion centers around his viral op-ed challenging the current mortgage credit ecosystem and questioning whether the industry has become too defensive of legacy systems at the expense of competition and innovation. The Land Podcast - The Pursuit of Land Ownership and Investing
Welcome to the land podcast, a platform for people looking to educate themselves in the world of land ownership, land investing, staying up to date with current land trends in the Midwest, and hearing from industry experts and professionals. On today's episode, we are back in the studio with Koby Kuhnen. We discuss: Coby bought his first hunting farm at 27 years old. He started with public land frustration and a long-term goal. Living at home helped him save aggressively after college. He looked at farms for years before buying the right one. The farm was bigger than planned but priced right. He used an ag-focused lender who understood land. His first moves were food, low pressure, and sanctuary. A major timber harvest reshaped the farm's future. CRP income helped, but he learned not to rely on it fully. His biggest advice to young buyers: pull the trigger. And so much more! Thanks again for all of the support from our partners—none of this would've been possible without them! - Buck Land Funding: https://www.firstbankers.com/bucklandfunding -Hawke Optics | Use Code WHTL for 15% off: https://bit.ly/hawkeoptics_ -OnX: https://bit.ly/onX_Hunt -Painted Arrow: bit.ly/PaintedArrow - Latitude Outdoors: https://www.latitudeoutdoors.com/ - Whitetail Master Academy https://www.whitetailmasteracademy.com - Use code 'HOFER' to save 10% off at www.theprairiefarm.com - Massive potential tax savings: ASMLABS.Net

Social media is an unlikely place to find truly positive and optimistic people. But occasionally you find one. Today's example: the charming and determined Coby Lefkowitz, whose relentless optimism can only rub off on you.Coby is a developer in New York state, and a prolific writer, poster and speaker on the value of beauty in the built environment. He's written a book called “Building Optimism” and has a Substack by the same name. In his Substack, you can read more about his forthcoming project in Kingston, NY, and what all he's trying to accomplish.Coby and I discuss the role of optimism in a longer, healthier life, whether or not building beautifully is actually more expensive, and the intriguing benefits of thinking of your social media audience as just yourself and your Mom. Coby's story is also a great example of how a young person can gain valuable experience working for someone else for a few years, grinding it out, and refining your skills before embarking on your own.You can find Coby on X/Twitter here.Find more content on The Messy City on Kevin's Substack page.Music notes: all songs by low standards, ca. 2010. Lyrics to “Play-In Parade” by Doug Thonus Walked in with the fourth pick and a lottery crew, Two future all-stars and a clean cap too. Then called Orlando like “I know what to do,” Two firsts for Vooch and some bad salary too. Built a mid three that can't guard anybody, Iso ball heroes and defense looking shoddy. Pseudo stars for the billboard view, A low ceiling strategy to make the Fan's woo. Three long years of the same routine, Blame Lonzo's knee for everything. Add Pat and Dalen, our draft pick busts And when we trade, teams just fleece us A.K. proudly leads the Play-In Parade, Hang the banner, 9th place made! Beat down by Miami again No rebuild here, just secret extensions Standing still as the window decays, Then make a move when value's gone away. Empty speeches while the fans complain, A.K. smiles and waves at his play-in parade Held on to Coby and Ayo too long, Just second round picks, the value was gone. “No shortcuts here,” that's the line he sells, But every move is just mid as hell When the Pelicans called with a franchise deal, He passed for a project instead of taking the steal Have a pile of cap room when free agency's iffy, Trying to build the future around Josh Giddey. Keep mediocre players instead of waive When losing some games get the odds raised Chasing meaningless wins in the month of March, While the draft board's loaded with future stars. A.K. proudly leads the Play-In Parade, Hang the banner, 9th place made! Beat down by Miami again No rebuild here, just secret extensions Standing still as the window decays, Then make a move when value's gone away.
