This is episode 18 of the Biomedical Informatics Roundtable Podcast. Dr. Jason Moore hosts this episode with discussions of AI hype, tips for deep learning in the biomedical sciences, and service as a leader. This episode also features news, open data, and a journal club discussion.

Marylyn discusses her experience organizing and attending an in-person bioinformatics conference during the COVID-19 pandemic.
