This is a podcast where Eunice tries to either reconnect to old friends or talk to new people (e.g. a person whom she just met once, or she knew from Instagram, etc.) As for the name, it's a meta joke.
ENJOY!
NO I'M NOT STOPPING I'M JUST HAVING A HOLIDAY. Chill. I'll be back in October with a fresh new season! Thank you for all the love and support, thank you to all the guests on the show. Next week I'm going to release a special episode in Indonesian, with a very aspiring guest. STAY TUNED!
You can feel the escalation in this episode. We were trying to have a normal conversation about how we met, about Wina's background, her experience doing an exchange program in Germany, her plans for the future, and all the usual things. Then it started to shift a little. "Drama is my middle name," she said at one point in this conversation. This was such a delightful talk! I hope you enjoy it.
In this episode I talk to Tommy T., one of the many interesting people I met in high school. We talk about our high school days of course. He also talks about being independent since a very young age, starting his own business, the public transportation situation in Jakarta, his vision for the future, and many other fascinating topics (Oh yes that includes dating topic).
This is the continuation of last week's episode when I called up my good friend and fellow movie enthusiast, Saverio, to talk about....well movies. Several weeks ago, I put up a question on Instagram, asking people's three fave movies. Now I'm talking about those movies and more. That includes, other movies that are related to them, the actors, the directors, ratings, etc etc. Enjoy! (For guidance on which movies we're talking about, open my Instagram Story highlight)

Cinta means love in Indonesian. And it happens to be my guest's nickname. We talked about adulting, millenial problems, social issues, and basically how we‘ve grown since junior high school— we graduated junior high in 2010.
"It was the summer of 2012. This band was playing on the street of Stuttgart. 'Pretty cool,' I thought." Simon was one of the guys in the band. We talk about how we knew each other, his recent graduation, his interest in making films, his travel experience, MBTI personality types, and so MANY other things. I hope you enjoy this conversation! I had a lot of fun recording it.
Theresia Dorothy, nicknamed Tessa, has known me since kindergarten. But we finally got closer in elementary school when we joined the same extracurricular activity; a martial art called wushu. We talked about how we auditioned for a school play together, apparently. I don't remember this! We talked a little bit about her college life, how she wanted to study film, why she ended up taking music therapy as major, etc. This was an effortless fun chat. You're going to love it!
A few weeks ago I received a commission work from Jason Mountario, to draw a cover art for his music. Jason who is two years younger than me, just graduated from Berkeley. We talked about his journey from the very first time he was drawn into music up until this point in his life. He also spilled a bit about his inspiration, how he composes songs, life in the US, how he used to "do some stuff" in the bathroom of his school when he was younger, and other amazing stories. This is a really fun and really different conversation. Enjoy!
Can exes really be friends???? We tell stories of how we met in high school, Tommy's recent trip to Japan, but most of all we talk about some pop culture stuff. Series (like Good Omens, Sex Love Robots, Jessica Jones, Chernobyl, etc), movies, internet boyfriend Keanu Reeves, LEGOS, I bet you'll experience a full, typical geek discussion here. And of course we talk about his new girlfriend.
Was Rachel Surijata named after Rachel Green from the popular 90s TV series? Rachel is an Indonesian student, currently studying in London. She was also one oh the first people who supported my idea to make a podcast. from the very beginning. We recall how we knew each other and how we briefly met. We talk about anxiety and depression, and how Rachel deals with it. We also cover other things like: going to parties, not having a lot of friends, that one dating app, Stefon, Andy Samberg, etc. This feels like a warm conversation you'd normally have with your friends. I hope you enjoy this episode!
I could as well just insert MCR's I'm Not Okay lyrics here. I made a list of what's wrong within my head. By putting this out there, I hope you understand me more. And this is an ode. For those of you who are having problems within themselves, I wanna say it is okay. We're all messed up. Remember, be there for each other. This is my story, this are my demons. Befriend your demons. P.s. Look out for an after credit ending like in all those superhero movies ;)
It was a delight talking to Debie. Not only did I get to know her, but I also learned a lot from her. We talked about her life as a med student, my life as an art student, using social media in general, her time in Tanzania, her take on to go back to Indonesia or not, why I changed major, etc etc. This really was a two-way conversation. I love doing sessions like this!
She's a 22 years-young woman entrepreneur. How powerful is dat? We talk about why she started her own social media based clothing line, MONOMOLLY, and how it grows. We also talk about her daily life, her trip to Turkey, her thoughts on relationship, her vision on her business, and much more. She really is an inspiration!
I talk by myself about the podcast and random things. Game of Thrones and Avengers? Music? Fan-girl-ing? Fave podcast and hosts? My weird name? ENJOYYYYY!!!
Rani Andhini Putri is an Indonesian living in New York City. We met once in a jam bar, where our mutual friend was singing. We have so many mutual friends and it's weird that we don't really know each other. That's why I contacted her. She is a marvellous story-teller. In this podcast, she's telling us several paranormal activity stories (that's a horror genre you guys. How cool), how she has lived in Saudi Arabia, in the US, the Netherlands, in Germany, and in Portugal, how she met her husband, etc etc. And she might or might not drop a surprise announcement about something exciting. This is definitely a must hear!

Putri is a med student in Germany. We met through mutual friends once and barely talked. But we kinda stalked each other on Instagram. This is our first Tinder date like conversation. Hope you enjoy!
In this episode I talk to my German / Indian / Canadian, fashion-designer-to-be, Akaash. It was a long time since we talked to each other. I had more than 1 hour of material but had to cut it down. We talked about the (many) languages he speaks, Tae Yang's Eyes Nose Lips video clip from back in the day, public transportation in India (and also Indonesia), and also how he got slapped that one time in India. LIKE WHAT?! Find out who Akaash is yourself!
There was no better duo than Valerie and me in middle school. The last time we met was 2014 when she visited me in Germany while she was studying in France. Now she has two Bachelor degrees and living in Vancouver with her better half. We reminisced our time in middle school, how music kinda brought us together, how we were a mess back then, the time we got into a big fight, etc. We also covered more sensitive areas like mental health and the education system in Indonesia back in our day. Another thing that could interest you would be: Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy and Amal Clooney.
This is a one-foot-dip in the water, before jumping in the pool, mainly just to see if everything works technically. But still, I've got someone interesting here, my best friend, Justine Hartwig. And we cover a lot of ground: living in a dorm, the kitchen situation, the washing situation, taking painting class, why I decided to make a podcast, judging people, Brooklyn 99, etc.
