Mel Robbins is a best selling author, podcast host, and one of the most sought-after speakers in the world – but while she has had SOOO much success in her life, she can't seem to text anyone back, remember someone's birthday, or put away the milk when she makes coffee. The thing is guys, even Mel frikin' Robbins isn't immune to the anxiety and self-criticism that comes from undiagnosed ADHD. But now, in her 50s, she is FINALLY ditching the self-criticism and owning her diagnosis But women have historically been disproportionately undiagnosed for SOO many reasons, (and yep…. I am part of that stat too!) which is why I wanted Mel to come on the show to talk about the sneaky symptoms of ADHD that you might be suffering with right now, the power that can come from a proper diagnosis, and what you can do to OWN it and make it your superpower! Because once you understand that YOU'RE NOT CRAZY and your brain just works differently, THAT'S when you can actually take control and do something about it!! If it feels like couples are taking forever to book right now, you're not imagining it. Across the industry, wedding pros are seeing the same thing: inquiries come in, great conversations happen — and then everything slows down. Couples wait weeks, even months, before making a decision. Some ghost. Some circle back at the last minute ready to move. What's happening isn't just procrastination — it's buyer behavior shifting. Today's couples are juggling busy lives, endless choices, and a constant stream of content that makes every option look good. Planning a wedding has become a second job, and decision fatigue is setting in fast. When people are overloaded, they don't make confident choices. They stall. They scroll. They default to “not yet.”That's why, in this episode, we're unpacking what's really behind the slowdown — and how you can adjust your process to match the way modern buyers actually make decisions. Because the reality is, you can't sell to this year's couples the same way you did even a few years ago. Their brains are working differently. And if you want to keep momentum in your pipeline, your sales approach has to evolve too. We'll talk through the three big behavioral forces driving the delay — ego depletion, analysis paralysis, and loss aversion — and show you how to design your client journey to guide couples forward with less friction and more trust. It's about removing obstacles, simplifying choices, and creating an environment where the “yes” feels easy and natural. And while this episode first aired last year, it's one worth revisiting. The challenges we talked about then have only intensified — and the insights are even more relevant now. So whether you're listening for the first time or the fifth, take notes. Because understanding what's really going on in your buyers' heads is the first step to helping them move from “thinking about it” to “booking it.”

You've probably heard the phrase “we all have the same 24 hours in a day.” But the truth? We don't. Our capacity changes with our seasons- motherhood, grief, business growth, joy, burnout. And pretending it's all the same only leads to guilt and comparison. In this episode, I'm sharing what it really means to take care of your health when life looks different, how I'm preparing to shift from a season of flexibility into motherhood, and why your 24 hours don't have to look like hers to still be meaningful, productive, and healthy.Do you feel like your metabolism has slowed down? I think most people assume their workouts are doing all the heavy lifting when it comes to their metabolism, but that's not actually where most of your calories are burned. In this episode, I'm breaking down what REALLY makes up your energy burn and why your workouts are one of the smallest pieces of the puzzle. We'll talk about the parts of your metabolism that make the biggest difference, what changes the most as we age, and where your focus should actually be if you want a healthy, strong, efficient body long-term. It's October and so it's time to talk about horror again! Not may fave genre but there are decent things that make it up and Banes, Tantz and I chat about some of them. Recently I enjoyed the anime DanDaDan and the American adult animated show Haunted Hotel, both on Netflix. They're both horror themed silly comedies that have a bit of parody of the genre and I really appreciate that. The horror comic I most recently enjoyed was DemiMon Hollow Town Syndrome, which I also recently featured. Most women think of self-defense as what happens once someone grabs you. But the truth? The most powerful skills happen before it ever gets physical. In this episode, I'm joined by Alison, a former FBI Analyst and founder of Strong is Beautiful, who teaches women how to build awareness, trust their instincts, and walk through the world with confidence- whether you're running alone, loading groceries with kids in tow, or living by yourself. This conversation is about more than defense, it's about reclaiming your power and feeling prepared in any situation. Probably one of the most important and impactful conversations I've had on this platform. As the founder of Strong is Beautiful, she teaches practical safety skills that go far beyond self-defense, they're life skills that help women trust their instincts, set boundaries, and move through the world remembering they are meant to take up space and have their voice heard.Currently completing her Master of Science in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine, Alison understands that strengthening your intuition and inner wisdom isn't found in mystical practices, it's in loving and showing up for yourself through daily behaviors that honor your body and mind. This holistic approach weaves through all her work, from teaching situational awareness to destigmatizing PTSD through her volunteer work with Bodhi Battalion.Drawing from her background in federal threat assessment, martial arts instruction, and integrative wellness, Alison shows women that confidence is their safety superpower. She learned early that confidence is knowing you are capable, and she's on a mission to help women, teens, and tweens discover that truth by honoring both their fierce strength and their compassionate nature.Learn more and follow Alison @strongisbeautifulsdDo you feel like your metabolism has slowed down? You've probably been influenced by the ads with promises of faster recovery, less soreness, and more muscle online. But do BCAAs, branched-chain amino acids, actually deliver on the hype or are they just another supplement that will sit in your cupboard? In this episode, I'm breaking it all down: what BCAAs really are, what they're supposed to help with, and what the science actually says about their effectiveness. God has a plan—and in this wild, soul-stirring convo, Nicole and I are breaking it down with our signature ADHD energy, humor, and heart. From $60k IRS bills that turned into unexpected blessings, to realizing that rejection is just redirection, this episode is a reminder that we don't have to carry it all or control it all.If you've ever obsessed over the “how,” felt like life was spinning out of control, or wondered if you're just a little “delusional” for choosing to see the good—this one's for you. Together, we unpack why it's powerful to believe that God (or the universe, Spirit, Source—whatever resonates) is in every single detail. Because when we let go of control, we find freedom.Tune in to hear:Why saying “this is for me” can change how we handle life's curveballsNicole's perspective on atheism, dating, and finding Spirit everywhereMy real-life $60,000 IRS scare and what it taught me about trustThe cage of control and what freedom really looks likeWhy letting go of the “how” is the ultimate spiritual practiceAnd babe, don't forget—get yourself on my VIP Early Access list at lauraconley.com/vip or text VIP to 720-419-1108. Bob Dylan is many things. A basic bitch isn't one of them. We welcome brilliant lifelong Dylan-ologists Elizabeth Nelson and Jeff Jackson to pull apart what Dylan means, why music biopics suck, and everything James Mangold missed in the most recent filmic attempt to contain Dylan's legacy, the nostalgia-fest A Complete Unknown.
This week I sat down with Dr. Patti Gonzalez to talk about something most of us don't want to think about… parasites. Yep, every human has them, and yet it's one of the least talked-about topics in the U.S. (even though parasite cleanses are totally normal in other countries). We dive into how parasites can actually show up in your body, the symptoms you might not connect to them, how to safely get rid of them, and why this conversation is finally starting to go mainstream. If you've ever been curious about parasite cleanses, or wondered if they're just another wellness trend, this episode is going to blow your mind.Dr. Patti Gonzalez is a retired chiropractor turned Health Concierge She believes optimal health is not a destination—it's about returning to the innate design of the body. With a holistic approach, Dr. Patti helps people uncover and address root-cause issues that keep them stuck in their healing journey. She's curated a holistic approach to restore your health, focusing on gut health, parasites and other root cause issues. This episode is a special one for me, because its my yearly BIRTHDAY episode- but its also an episode where I step back from teaching health and really get vulnerable with you with what life has looked like this past year (the ups and the downs!)For the first time, I'm talking about some unexpected changes I made, that literally changed everything...from stepping away from constant hustle and visibility, to choosing joy over busyness, to finally investing in my emotional and mental health as much as my physical. I'm hoping this episode gives you permission to look at life different, to slow down, maybe give you ideas to create more presence and joy in your own life!48 HOUR BIRTHDAY SALE

This week, I'm switching things up... I was a guest on my friend Jillian Murphy's Scale Your Sales podcast, and let's just say, we didn't hold back and we had A LOT of fun!I got real about my journey from hair stylist to entrepreneur, the health industry, what's broken, my biggest icks, and why so many women are left spinning their wheels (and wasting money) without seeing results. Jillian even opened up about her own coaching experience with me. How she came to me after spending thousands on tests with zero answers, and how we started making real progress almost immediately. If you're ready for some honest, no-BS conversation about health, business, and creating results that actually last with two best friends, you're going to love this episode.Do you feel like your metabolism has slowed down? Audi has been sagging for about 5yrs, mostly because they over-spent on BEV tech while under-spending on internal combustion/hybrid tech. To help turn things around Audi plans to reverse that course, make a new TT, and go into Formula 1. We discuss. Then Steve-0, Adams, and Dr Stephan Moran, our trauma surgeon, each list their three favorite recent Audis.Dr Moran gets into how and why safety standards are different in the US, Europe, and Asia, and he recommends that one set of regulations become the standard globally. Which one? We won't reveal it here but here's a hint: it starts with the letters EU.Finally Adams wife spotted a beautiful 2025 Porsche 911 in Paint to Sample Brewster Green. #carsoncallpodcast #traumasurgeonsafety #audiquattro #audiusa #audiTT

I have some big news to share — I'm pregnant! In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on my first trimester (because what THE HECK was that) The unexpected challenges, moving less than I'm used to, watching my body change, and learning to navigate lower energy while taking care of my health and running a business. This season has taught me so much about slowing down, trusting my body, and letting go of the pressure to “do it all.” It's also made me rethink how I want to show up in my work and opened my heart to helping more women in a different capacity.Whether you're a fellow business owner, a mama-to-be, or simply in a season of transition, I hope this episode encourages you to lean in, let go of perfection, and make room for what matters most (and a little bit of magic).Do you feel like your metabolism has slowed down?
