In the span of two weeks, OpenAI launched an app platform with 800 million users, released Agent Kit with visual workflows and custom widgets, and dropped Sora—a social video app that instantly became the #1 and #2 app in the App Store. If you've been following our predictions about the next great distribution shift, this is the moment we've been waiting for. The "open" phase has officially begun. In this episode, Brian Balfour (Founder and CEO of Reforge) is joined by Ravi Mehta (former CPO at Tinder, product leader at Meta and TripAdvisor) and Adam Fishman (former Interim VP Product at Mozilla, previously at Patreon and Lyft) to break down what these launches really mean for product leaders. We discuss why this could be the "uh-oh moment" for Google and Apple, how OpenAI is using memory and context to build their moat, and the specific tactical steps you should be taking right now—before your competitors do. We also dive deep on Sora's surprising product design, why it feels more like Snapchat than TikTok, the dopamine mechanics of AI-generated content, and whether Meta is about to "Stories-ify" the whole thing. Get Your Product Team AI-Native This episode is brought to you by Reforge. Reforge provides the tools and training your team needs to become AI-native: Reforge Insights aggregates your scattered customer feedback into actionable intelligence. Reforge Research runs AI interviews and surveys so you can capture new insights at scale. Reforge Build lets you prototype AI features for your existing product in minutes. This proper true yarn special with Heath “Tierney” Tierney is full of wild laughs and loose yarns. From shaving mishaps in the Army to the fantasy of billion-dollar boats, Tierney opens up about virginity in a granny flat, fights on the rugby field, and a party that got shut down after projecting porn onto a neighbour's house with surround sound moans echoing through the street. The lads swap stitch-up stories, dodgy pick-up lines, fake jobs, Tinder vs. old-school chasing, and even debate what animal would make the ultimate pet (spoiler: a wedge-tailed eagle beats a bald eagle every time). Proper larrikin energy from start to finish. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Nurse practitioner and pole dancer Neda Momeni is here and teaches Nicole a lot! From her years as a labor and delivery nurse, she explains what actually happens in the hospital during childbirth and what most people never hear about until they're living it. She talks about Muslim dating, from family expectations to apps like Minder and her experience using an online matchmaker. Pressure pushed her to marry the wrong man, and she ended up going no-contact with her parents. After cutting ties, pole dancing became her outlet, and a video of her performing in a hijab went viral - sparking both backlash and an outpouring of support from women who she inspired. Bonnie Tinder is the founder and CEO of Raven Intelligence, an independent B2B peer review site that amplifies the voice of the customer. She focuses on software customers, consulting partners, and software vendors and helps identify the best partners for their needs. In this episode, Tinder joins Bob Evans to break down what's next for Oracle and SAP, exploring AI-native applications, agent ecosystems, and data openness, while offering sharp, practical insights into how enterprises can extract real value from AI innovation.Episode 55 | Oracle, SAP, and the AI ShiftThe Big Themes:Oracle's Upcoming AI Agent Marketplace: One of Oracle's most anticipated announcements is the launch of an AI Agent Marketplace. This platform will act like an app store for AI-powered agents, opening new monetization paths for partners and developers. It will enable third-party vendors to sell industry-specific agents and tools, further enriching Oracle's AI ecosystem. This move reflects a broader strategy to position Oracle not just as a cloud provider but as a facilitator of innovation across its partner network.SAP's Bold Vision: SAP is preparing to reveal its most radical AI shift yet—positioning AI as the primary user interface across its suite. Powered by Joule, SAP's AI assistant, users will be able to interact with software through natural language instead of traditional menus or clicks. Tasks like requesting time off or checking budgets will be handled conversationally. This paradigm shift moves SAP from system-of-record software to intelligent systems-of-action.AI Recruitment Tools Rise: Both Oracle and SAP are doubling down on AI-enhanced recruitment tools. SAP's acquisition of SmartRecruiters and Oracle's industry bundles for talent management signal a strong push into AI-driven hiring. AI is being used to streamline candidate engagement, improve matching, and personalize outreach. While some fear AI may displace roles, enterprise vendors are positioning it as a tool to find the right people faster. The Big Quote: ““The hardest part of any of these transformations is the change management piece, and if AI can help make that change easier, faster and more comfortable for all the stakeholders—that's the name of the game." This week, our hosts Dave Bittner , Joe Carrigan, and Maria Varmazis (also host of the T-Minus Space Daily show) are sharing the latest in social engineering scams, phishing schemes, and criminal exploits that are making headlines. We start off with a celebration of Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Joe's story is on how the North Wales Police are warning cryptocurrency holders after a victim lost £2.1 million in Bitcoin to a highly targeted scam, where criminals posing as police used a fake security breach story to trick them into entering their password on a fraudulent site. Dave has two stories this week, the first one from a Reddit user being targeted by the classic "White Van Scam," where scammers tried to sell cheap projectors as high-end equipment using a fake story and forged receipt. In his second story, the FBI is warning that cybercriminals are spoofing its official IC3 website to steal personal information and scam victims, urging users to type the URL directly and avoid suspicious links or fake social media pages. Maria has the story on two U.S. senators pressing Tinder parent company Match Group to step up efforts against romance scams, demanding details on how it detects fraud and protects users from criminals exploiting trust on its platforms. Our catch of the day comes from Reddit where a user was targeted by a scammer, but cleverly was able to get them to retreat. A bit of sad history of GTWM tonight as Mo says goodbye to the studio he has been doing the show since Season 2. It's the last recording day at home, and coupled with the emotional week on the radio, it's a weird time in Philippine radio and podcasting. Nevertheless, it's still filled with laughs and lessons as Mo, Alex and Sam bring a back-to-back set of episodes. Let's go!Caller #1 is Vanna who is 34yrs old from San Francisco. Vanna met an older guy on Tinder who she banged twice. Was the one night stand too early because he doesn't seem to give her gentlemen treatment. Caller #2 is Alex who is 24yrs old from Toronto. Alexcheated on his ex with his current girlfriend, and now wants to cheat on his current girlfriend with his ex -- all in the name of trying to find stability. Go figure.

Welcome to Cyprus Hollow, population: probably doomed. The kind of town where the local gossip travels faster than Wi-Fi, the Daybreak Motel smells like it should come with a tetanus shot, and the only thing scarier than the crime scene is the Yelp review section. Our Hunters didn't come here looking for trouble—they came here because trouble left a one-star review and posted grainy video evidence to TikTok. In a place where urban legends haunt the Wi-Fi signals and even social media influencers can't spin a death into something palatable, the only certainty is this: you can run from monsters, but you can't escape the RPGBOT.Podcast How to Play series. Show Notes In this episode, Tyler, Randall, and Ash pack up their old apartment and move into Cyprus Hollow, a small town that's part “true crime Netflix docuseries” and part “urban legend Reddit thread gone wrong.” Our actual play session of Hunter the Reckoning kicks off with character creation and backstories, because nothing says “ready to fight monsters” like explaining why your Hunter still owes student loans. The crew investigates the mysterious death at the Daybreak Motel, where mace, missing witnesses, and suspicious managers collide with social media drama and grainy video evidence. As the team digs deeper into this RPG mystery investigation, they battle improvised technology, dead-end leads, and the eternal horror of teenagers who refuse to answer questions. Banter and humor lighten the heavy mood (sort of), but the looming presence of a mysterious figure and a cliffhanger ending keep everyone guessing. This is Hunter the Reckoning actual play podcast content you didn't know you needed: equal parts suspense, role-playing humor, and supernatural horror investigation. Grab your flashlight, load your tulpas, and get ready for the How to Play series that dares to explain both mechanics and memes. Key Takeaways Character backstories in RPGs aren't just flavor—they're weapons against existential dread. Setting the scene in Cyprus Hollow shows how place and atmosphere drive great RPG storytelling. Investigating crime scenes in role-playing games demands attention to detail and patience with unreliable NPCs. Urban legends and social media aren't just modern clutter—they become story hooks in mystery RPG sessions. Technology in RPG storytelling is both a blessing and a curse (especially when it glitches harder than Foundry VTT on patch day). Humor in dark RPG campaigns helps keep tension playable instead of crushing. Tulpas, mysterious figures, and cliffhangers make for suspense-heavy actual play drama. Collaboration in RPG investigation storytelling is essential—though sometimes it just means arguing about who has the flashlight. The Daybreak Motel crime scene has more red flags than a bad Tinder date. Ending on a Hunter the Reckoning cliffhanger ensures you'll come back for Part 2, whether you want to or not. Have you ever noticed how easy it is to keep promises to everyone else… but when it comes to yourself? Poof. Out the window. You'll drag yourself to that 8 a.m. meeting, show up for a friend's late-night drama, and say yes to commitments you never wanted to take on. But when it comes to your workout, an early bedtime, or precious family time? Suddenly, you're “too busy,” “too tired,” or convincing yourself it's okay to say “just this once.” This is a slippery slope into self-neglect.Here's the hard truth: the toughest boundaries aren't the ones you set with other people—they're the ones you set with yourself. And every time you break them, you chip away at your own self-trust. Ouch. But, hey, if you're ready to break this cycle, join me in Reconnection: The Inner Child Healing Workshop Every Woman Needs on October 11 to uncover the patterns you didn't even realize were running your life. This week on Project Loving Myself, we're getting real about why the promises you make to yourself are the only ones that actually matter—and how to stop ghosting yourself like a bad Tinder date.

Before dating apps became the default way to meet your next fling, or your forever, Whitney Wolfe Herd was rewriting the rules of love and tech. From her early days helping launch Tinder, to the explosive fallout that led her to create Bumble, Whitney's story is one of ambition, lawsuits, billion-dollar valuations, and the rise (and fall?) of the “girlboss” era. In this episode, we unpack how she built a dating empire by asking women to make the first move, how she navigated Silicon Valley's boys' club, and what her journey says about feminism, business, and the culture of swiping right. This week, hosts Chad and Joel, joined by career guru J.T. and Emi, sling snark and wisdom like a comedy roast for the recruiting world. They dive into The Muse's shady “acquisition” drama, where a LinkedIn post from an engineering honcho claims a buyout, but with zero press release or website proof, it smells more like a corporate ghosting than a deal—think two dinosaurs slow-dancing as meteors rain down. The crew then skewers Trump's H1B visa fee hike to $100,000, a move that lets tech titans like Google and Meta flex their fat wallets while startups choke, sending America's “brain gain” packing to Canada and Europe. J.T. drops a truth bomb: job security's a myth, so job seekers better channel their inner influencer and monetize their skills on social media, because full-time gigs are fading faster than a bad Tinder date. Meanwhile, Indeed's playing mafia boss, slashing agency commissions and strong-arming them into direct-apply schemes, prompting Chad to call it “agency castration by 10,000 paper cuts.” IBM's AI saga gets a laugh—8,000 HR folks got the boot for a chatbot, only for the company to rehire for creative roles when AI couldn't handle the human touch, proving even robots can't fake empathy. Finally, they tackle LinkedIn job scams, with losses skyrocketing from $90 million to $501 million in four years, blaming desperate job seekers, apathetic employers, and a government too busy to care. The lights flicker. The basement smells faintly of stale pizza and dread. Somewhere in the distance, a door creaks — or maybe that was just Randall adjusting his chair. Tonight, we're stepping into the World of Darkness, where average people stumble into a nightmare of vampires, monsters, and game mechanics that hit harder than a ghost with a grudge. In this episode, we invite you to join us for the first chapter of our How to Play Hunter: The Reckoning series. Expect desperation, danger, and just enough emotional depth to make you wonder if your dice are haunted. If you've ever wanted to play D&D but with more existential dread and less fireball spam, this is the episode for you. Support Ash on StartPlaying If listening to Ash wrangle dice, monsters, and Tyler's rules arguments has you thinking, “I need this chaos in my life,” then good news: you can. Ash Ely is running games on StartPlaying.Games, and he'll happily lead you into the World of Darkness (or any world, really) — no flashlight required. Support Ash, book a session, and experience firsthand what happens when your emotional depth meets his desperation mechanics. Just… don't be surprised if your character cries before you do. Show Notes Welcome to the very first episode in our How to Play Hunter: The Reckoning series — or as Tyler kept calling it before coffee, “Hunter the Gathering.” In this kickoff, your hosts Tyler, Randall, and Ash dive fang-first into the World of Darkness, exploring the emotional depth of role-playing games and why letting your character cry on-mic is sometimes the most powerful game mechanic of all. We'll peel back the layers of Hunter: The Reckoning's history, from its complicated editions to its enduring reputation as “the game where average people fight vampires, demons, and the IRS.” Along the way, we'll tackle the unique desperation and danger mechanics that make every dice roll feel like a bad Tinder date, and unpack how creeds and organizations give hunters wildly different vibes — from religious zealots to conspiracy theorists with poor Wi-Fi. Expect detours into D&D, vampire hunting jokes that are definitely not OSHA-approved, and at least one argument about whether lighting in performance art really matters when you're sitting in a dimly lit basement with a bag of Cheetos. Key Takeaways Emotional depth matters: vulnerability in RPG storytelling makes for unforgettable campaigns. Average people, extraordinary stakes: Hunter: The Reckoning lets you role-play regular humans versus supernatural horrors. Creeds and organizations define hunters: conflicting goals keep character drama spicy. Mechanics that hurt (in a good way): desperation and danger rules crank up tension like horror movies with jump scares. Monster design isn't about stats: creating monsters with real motivations makes them terrifyingly relatable. Storytelling as a mirror: RPGs like Hunter reflect players' inner conflicts and emotional experiences. Hunter history is messy: multiple editions, controversies, and fan debates make for excellent nerd fights. Lighting matters… apparently: whether on stage or at the table, atmosphere changes how the story hits. Tyler Tiny Videos Want even more advice on how to play tabletop roleplaying games without committing to a three-hour lecture or a fifty-page rulebook? Tyler Kamstra's got you covered with his Tiny Videos on social media. They're short, sharp, and just chaotic enough to make you laugh while actually learning something useful for your next D&D or Hunter: The Reckoning session. Go watch Tyler's Tiny Videos — because good tabletop tips should fit between scrolling memes and doomscrolling the news. Welcome to the RPGBOT Podcast. Shawn O'Malley and Daniel Mahncke break down Match Group (ticker: MTCH), a company that operates as part of a duopoly in online dating, owning a number of dating platforms, including Tinder, Match.com, Hinge, OkCupid, and more, with specialized platforms appealing to certain demographics and dating niches. During the Pandemic, the company was a popular growth stock, but as the number of paying users at Tinder has declined, the business has stagnated, and the market has punished it severely. Yet, the company is still quite profitable, yielding a seemingly attractive valuation. In this episode, you'll learn about the unique business behind online dating, why Match is having trouble resonating with Gen Z, how large the TAM is for online dating, the most important things the company is focusing on to reinvigorate Tinder, why Hinge may be the future of Match Group and online dating, and whether Match Group is attractively priced, plus so much more!
