Hey, welcome to Corner Store Radio, the podcast where you can talk about anything. Feel free to come on and share some advice, struggles, or even just something you're excited about. I'd love to hear from you :)
Here's a part two of my "About Depression and Outlets" episode from awhile ago with my friend Josh. This is a video episode as well so if you wanna see it on YouTube go check it out! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCG19KIOvijCY80ivTHyuDzw
Hey guys, it's been a long time. Like a year long time. Starting Season 3 officially of CSR and I'm very excited :) Gonna be talking a lot about things I wish I knew a few years ago to hopefully help people that were in a similar situation that I was. Basically this is an episode for advice for my younger self. This is my first solo episode so it's a bit out of my comfort zone, but I knew I needed to make something today. Yes I recorded and edited all of this today lol. Inspiration hits diff Anyway hope you guys enjoy!
Joined by Andrew from my psychology class, this episode serves as a basic overview for ASPD (AntiSocial Personality Disorder) and psychopathy. Part two will delve more into how individuals with ASPD manipulate others, but this is just some background info to understand the next part. Hope you guys enjoy! Note: my pronouns are he/they!
Welcome to Episode 11 of Corner Store Radio. In this episode, I talk with my friend Ben about his experiences with being neurodivergent and dealing with a public school system. We also discuss treatment and medication struggles. Go check out "About Invisible Illness" for a similar episode! Note: I use he/they pronouns
Note: my pronouns are he/they! For my history class, I interviewed my 83-year-old aunt Anna. She tells me about her experience with being gay throughout the 20th century. We're able to relate to each other on some of our experiences, but hearing about being gay in another century was completely foreign to me and it was interesting to have this other perspective. Stick around to hear my aunt question her gender at the age of 83 as well lmao Thanks to https://storycorps.org/ for inspiring my teacher to give this assignment! Go visit the website to hear some other interviews people have uploaded.
Hey, it's been a while. I hope I'll have the motivation to come out with a new official episode, but for now, this is what I'm releasing. Enjoy a little clip of me rambling to myself and reminiscing about the past of my podcast. Also, when I talked about my analytics, I apparently have over 450 plays overall?? Which is insane to me. I never thought I had that many. My top-played episode is 86 plays. Just thought I would correct myself. Note: my pronouns are he/they
Jack hosts his own official episode! In this episode, my friend Froster comes on to talk about toxic internet culture. Everything from cancel culture, dark humor, and even a little bit of everything else. The hostility that can be found in an online space is frightening, but that won't stop us from talking about it. My friend Ocernia comes on to talk about her experiences with invisible illnesses such as ADHD, Asperger's, asthma, and hypotonia. There are a lot of misconceptions about illnesses like that, so she wanted to share her experience with them to educate people and spread awareness for the things she deals with. Enjoy!
Note: my pronouns are he/they! Taking the first step is terrifying, but it's something that everyone has to experience at some point in their lives. Today, Cailyn from my discord server and I discussed our experience with confidence and taking the first step in areas such as theater and other aspects of our lives. Enjoy! Note: my pronouns are he/they! Everyone finds happiness in different ways. It can take some longer than others, especially if they're going through a tough time. For some, it can take years to come out of a difficult period in their life. So what are some ways to take the first step in finding happiness? Welcome to the 9th episode of CSR! Today, my good friend Josh came on to talk about his experience with depression and how music not only helped him through and out of the toughest time in his life, but changed his perspective on life as a whole, as well. We can all agree that happiness is supposed to be something you find within yourself, so why do people insist on trying to please others? My friend Yash from the CSR Discord Server comes on today to talk about his experience with finding happiness and the toxic people involved along the way. At the end, we talk a bit about sushi :) enjoy! Note: my pronouns are he/they! Discord server members "FrosterTheMan" and "not nice kermit" join me to talk about morality among other things. This is kind of a hodgepodge episode; we talk about regrets, self-worth, conflict, and the ego and how it all ties into morality. This was a really fun episode for me because I love talking about philosophy and things like this :) Enjoy! TW: gender dysphoria Come listen to me talk about my experience with gender identity with my friends Maria (a cisgender girl) and Ben (a trans guy, FTM)! Gender identity is a widely discussed topic today, but it was nice to be able to hear different perspectives on what it means to be transgender. I left in a bit at the end where we were all gushing about the new Minecraft update, as well. Enjoy! Edit: It's so interesting how my gender identity has changed since November. In December, I decided to switch to he/they pronouns and I experience a lot more dysphoria than I did when recording this episode. I now absolutely hate it when people use she/her for me. It goes to show that you can feel one way and then completely change your identity. Going back and forth between identities doesn't make those identities any less valid and I think that's something people need to hear. I'm happy that I'm finding myself :)
Come listen to me talk about self-image and the way we feel emotions with my friends Anna and Jack. At the end, we get very off-topic and end up talking about soup for 8 minutes. Thank you guys for being a part of my first episode! Here's the link to my discord if you want to be a part of the community: https://discord.gg/v2nMDdwT
