When I think back on my childhood, so much of it takes place in my home. In the living room, kitchen, the backyard, those memories are tied to that stability. My guest, Sophia, didn't have that luxury. She spent most of her childhood being moved from house to house, school to school never knowing where she might end up next. We talk this week about how that affected her then and continues to now.

My 27 year old, older brother Dylan joins this week. We grew up in the same house, at the same time, with the same parents and overall life experiences. But, if you met us, you would be surprised to know we are related. We talk about mental health, religious differences, how we could have been better to each other growing up and why were more like roommates than brothers.

This week talk is with my cousin BJ King about growing up and staying positive. BJ has a strained relationship with a lot of his close family, mother, and brothers. Yet he remains unshaken and happy with his life now. Enjoy this conversation!

Learning to be an adult is hard enough, but when you live far away from your main role models, your parents, it can seem impossible. This week I'm talking to my sister-in-law Brittney about this exact thing. We have a lot in common and try and help each other grow!

My dad and I have a special relationship. Some guys never know the real story of their parents or some of the mistakes they have made. Robb holds nothing back and values honesty over protecting his image. He tells stories of how he met his wife, and offers advice to a young newlywed.

Mitch is a man with many strange opinions and beliefs. Hes a great friend to have because you never know what he is going to say next. Mitch and I are both college dropouts and we discuss whether we regret that or not, as well as our experiences in the trades.

A few weeks before I went on my own cross country move, I wanted to chat with my buddy Ryan about his experience moving to Seattle. Ryan is one of my oldest friends and is truly a great person to have in your life. He offers advice and experience on life outside Ohio.

I dream about being a minimalist. Owning 5 shirts, a pair of jeans, and a backpack with a few things. While I don't own a ton, my friend Jon is forced into only having a few material possessions because he's constantly being moved around by the US Coast Guard. We talk what it's like to live with no consistent home and a few things.

Everyone dreams of being a rock star, but there is a lot more work behind the scenes than you think. I'm talking to my old roommate/bandmate/friend Matt about what makes a local band quit playing. Why we didn't break out and what we would do differently today.

In the day and age of Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube, there is an infinite amount of new music. Most people (myself included) get stuck in a loop of repeating the same bands and albums for years. Jorden has been my go-to guy for new music, so I wanted to know how finds the energy and enthusiasm to continue to discover music daily.
