Roger is one of the best fisherman I know! Hes the Owner of Schumann Fishing Guide Service based out of Minot North Dakota. When he called me and asked if I wanted to jump in the boat with him to go pitch jigs and place with his forward facing sonar I jumoed at the chance. Sadly, the fish werent as cooperative as they were the previous day. Fun was had anyway! The walleyes werent active but we caught enough Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass tp keep us entertained. 

Today I am joined by my friend and fellow podcaster Brock Bevelle. Hes a retired police officer and a man in long term sobriety from opioid addiction. He also manages the Tiktok and IG accounts called @Fentanylprojectaz where he interviews people on the street in active addiction. We are going to talk about what its like to be in long term sobriety and actually get into some of our dark addiction stories that keep us sober that we dont normally talk about. I also wanted to bring awareness to Brocks work where he is actually in the streets trying to help people kick fentanyl addiction. He offers basics like hygiene kits, sunscreen, and water, but he also offers emotional and recovery resources. Not only that, he is literally saving lives on a regular basis. There are many videos on Tiktok where he Narcans people who are actively overdosing. Its heartbreaking, but also so inspiring to watch as he gives hope to so many people. The main reason I wanted to talk with Brock again is because I wanted to find out how we as a community can support people like him who are on the streets every day. Since then hes raced his 1962 Beetle that hes owned since then. He then switcehd over to a Manx buggy for drag racing. When he reched the pinnacle of that, he bought a used G-Dragster and started his journey up the ranks of Competition Eliminator. His 1680 CC has custom builr cylinder heads, an overhead cam, fuel injection, all off of a stock case. Hes racked up over 20 Wally's the covedted NHRA award for any racer. Brian is pusing the envelope with this 1680cc engine. He also ha a 1977 348 RWH street beetle in all stock trim. Can you say SLEEPER.
