One of the main reasons for Jude writing his epistle was to expose false teaching in the first century Church. After an intense week for our church body we continue our fall teaching series "Battling For The Truth" student pastor Garris Hudson teaches from verses 12-13 and then he will apply that to the current church battles in our day. The title of the message is “Six Signs of a False Teacher"."
Pastor Larry continues his current teaching series Battling For The Truth, with a message title “Understanding the Sovereignty of God.” He gave us nine verses about Gods sovereignty and five facts about the incredible knowledge of God.
As usual, Pastor Larry does not shy away from giving Biblical answers to difficult questions. He will tackle a big one today, as he teaches on the Rebellion of Korah from Jude 11 and relates that to the political and moral battles of our day. He will answer the question: “Should Christians STAY OUT of Politics?” He will show us the relationship Jesus had with politics and politicians, and he will examine the political involvement of Old Testament Bible characters as well. He will deal with our responsibility before God as citizens of this country. It will be a powerful, thought provoking study with our Pastor that everyone in the Cross Pointe Family needs to hear!
Today Pastor Larry delivers a powerful message entitled "Family Feud: The Story of Cain and Abel." He tackled the tough question of understanding "The Way of Cain". Why was Cain rejected? Why was his offering refused? How does this show us a portrait of the theological battles of the modern church?
We are going through the Book of Jude verse by verse on Sunday mornings and it has been a great journey so far. Today, Pastor Larry is tackling verses 8-9 this Sunday as he answers two questions: Does God still speak through dreams today and can believers rebuke the Devil?

Our summer teaching series has been “The Great Prayers of the Bible”. It is a series that could go on for months, but, sadly, it will come to the end today. Pastor Larry has a perfect ending on as he tells the story of Simon Peter walking on the water and then saying the shortest prayer in the Bible - “Lord, Save Me!”
We are coming to the end of a great teaching series by Pastor Larry on “Great Prayers of the Bible”. One of the greatest prayers ever prayed is the prayer of Jesus for His Church in John 17. What a powerful chapter and message.

Today everyone will have the opportunity to find a places to serve in our church this next school year. Pastor Larry's message will show us the importance of volunteers with a message entiled "When Jesus Is In The House" that comes from Mark Chapter 2. He ends his message with a powerful eulogy of "Someone Else."
The typical American knows that some of the sweetest words on earth are, “Debt Free!” Perhaps the worst debt is unforgiveness. Pastor Larry is dealing with that very issue today as we continue our verse by verse, word by word study of the Lord's Prayer.
We have more Americans without daily food in America today than anytime in the last century. Prices for food are at an all-time high. So, our study of the Lord's Prayer today is very important to all of us. We need to understand what Jesus meant when He taught us to pray - “Give us this day our daily BREAD”.
