My new podcast is with Melissa Templeman. Melissa is co owner of Oaklands Most Powerful Gym. She is deeply knowledgeable in the ways of health, strength, mobility and she has been my strength guru for almost a year now. www.oaklandsmostpowerful.com for more info As dancers we know that our body is our "instrument." If ever, there was a year to strive for physical goals it was this one. Maybe you did and that is great. Maybe you didn't and that is what New Years resolutions are for. I am so thankful for the guidance I receive from Melissa and Oaklands Most Powerful and encourage you to check them if you're looking for a plan.
Isaac and I discuss out night out dancing at Lukas. And we talk about what Post Corona Social dancing could look like.

Hello Dancers, Hope you’re all doing well and getting a lot of physical activity. I’m proud to announce my new podcast is with Calvin Hamilton. Calvin could’ve been seen every Sunday at Allegro tearing up the dance floor in the 90’s which is where me met. We sat down under a wise tree in Oakland and discussed his beginnings in hip hop, discovering Salsa and then going into Lindy Hop and becoming a Lindy Hop teacher. Calvin has always been an original and I really enjoyed our conversation. If you would like to support the podcast you can Venmo @Grace-Torres-14 Cheers Garry
I'm proud to announce my new podcast is with Tango teacher, dj, event promoter Felipe Martinez. When I would ask followers who their favorite dancers are, Felipe is always one of the first names they would list as one of their favorite leaders. Together with his wonderful partner Ayano, they teach and throw a great event called The SF Tango Marathon. We sat down at the Emeryville Marina, (probably not a good location because of the wind) and talked about his journey in Tango.
Colin Douglas is a badass Musician/Percussionist. He has played with countless groups in the Afro Cuban/Salsa scene, the Jazz/Swing Scene and so many more music Scenes. Recently he was playing with Aerosmith in Las Vegas when Corona hit. We discuss his musical beginnings, path and thoughts on music and more.
Hope everyone is doing well and exercising. I am so proud to announce my latest Podcast is with my amazing wife Grace Torres. Many people kept asking for me to talk to Grace. We talk about growing up dancing in Nicaragua, finding dance here in the States and how we met through dance.
I sat down with Bay Area Salsa Instructor Tianne Frias. Tianne exudes dance. We discussed her long career in dance from Ballet and Modern to Tango to becoming a Ballroom Dance teacher and competing in Salsa. It was a lot fun. I hope you enjoy. To donate to the podcast Venmo @Grace-Torres-14

Mary Massella is an amazing dancer and person. She has been part of the Cuban Dance Scene in the Bay Area and LA since the early 2000s. Mary is also the better half of Isaac Kos Read, the founder of Salsa By the Lake. We discuss her Dance Journey and more
Roberto has been my mentor in Cuban Dance and Music for 20 years now and a big part of me wanting to do a podcast was to record with Roberto so that more people can get to know him. He is truly a treasure in our dance community and has so many stories and so much wisdom. There is no way to cover all of Roberto's history in one podcast and so I hope to record with him again. Cheers, Garry
