Gracias a la visión de su fundador y creador CARLOS COLORADO que muere trágicamente en un accidente de carretera, y que nos dejo el gran legado y la bella música que los caracteriza. Recorreremos sus inicios y orígenes, pero………… mas que eso, Melina nos contara como eran?, Que hacían?. Sus gustos?, Sus aficiones, Sus integrantes? Y todo lo que ella vivio cuando trabajo al lado de este gran grupo.

Israel López, better known as Cachao was the co-creator of mambo, bandleader, double bassist, composer, and arranger. One of his and his brother Orestes' greatest innovations was Mambo; livening up a classical Danzon, with afro-Cuban rhythm, as Cachao termed it “turning the ship 180˚”.  Roberto has been my mentor in Cuban Dance and Music for 20 years now and a big part of me wanting to do a podcast was to record with Roberto so that more people can get to know him.  He is truly a treasure in our dance community and has so many stories and so much wisdom.  There is no way to cover all of Roberto's history in one podcast and so I hope to record with him again.
