God's commitment to family restores his covenant purposes to the earth, and that is revealed throughout this session as we continue to walk through the blood lines that spread from Adam and Eve and look to the future of Jesus as the one who will crush the head of the serpent. The 'sons of God' and pre-flood dynamics are brought into the discussion as well. In all, we see God's grace and love for mankind continued throughout man's open rebellion.
In this session, we see the beauty of God's grace and mercy. Despite Adam's line breaking covenant with God, we see that God returns to covenant as soon as it is broken. Our God is a good Father and nothing is ever lost for those who live in covenant with him.
Jesus is the great mystery of God's covenant plan, hidden throughout the ages, revealed in him. In session 3, Pastor Alan introduces Adam and Eve helps us see how the God interacted with them as their Father both when they were in good relationship with him in the garden to God's love for them after Adam and Eve's fall.
God's original intention for mankind was for us to be his 'imagers.' The Human family exists as a reigning and ruling family in God's image. We are a royal family made in the image of our King.
