We're half way through Genesis! This week, Pastor Roger looks at chapter 25. Don't trade what matters—eternal covenant, calling, and legacy—for the immediate pleasures of appetite or convenience. Using Abraham's final decisions, God's faithful movement across generations, and the Esau–Jacob episode, the sermon argues that small, habitual choices form destiny and that finishing well requires clarity, trust, and intentional handing off of spiritual momentum. -Featuring Roger Hirth

Would you please help us out in sharing this information especially with those who are not online. Remember the church is not a building, ~it's the people of God, ~filled with the presence of God, ~set apart to do the works of God. Christ has enabled us to do that in the world and not primarily in a building. Remember the golden rule during this time of uncertainty. Let's use this time to advance the purposes of God and stay connected with each other. Romans 8:28, Pastor Paul Heidt
Effective faith requires assurance ( a settled confidence) and conviction (an inner certainty), both of which Abraham had. Believing God, he put feet to his faith and followed the Lord to Canaan.
This week Pastor Roger looks at the second half of Genesis 22 and all of Genesis 23. He looks at how Abraham experiences the grief of Sarah's death-- intentionally, deeply-- and then appropriately moving on. We see in these chapters what it looks like to have hope in the midst of life's challenges, looking to our hope of a future with God. -Featuring Roger Hirth

Part 3 of Broken People—Famous Faith explores the life of Abraham, showing that real faith is trusting God enough to step out—even when you don't know where you're going. His story reminds us that famous faith isn't perfect, but it's rooted in obedience and built on the unshakable foundation of God's promises.
Pastor Loïs unpacks Genesis 20 to contrast the tension found between Abraham and Abimelech to show how we often rationalize sin. In our mess-ups, God intervenes and extends mercy. We then hear of the birth of the promised son, Isaac in Genesis 21:1-8. It's finally happened; God was faithful to His promise! -Featuring Loïs Renaud
How do you actually know what you're supposed to do with your life? Most of us are waiting for clarity. Maybe a sign or a clear direction. Something that tells us exactly where we're going before we take a step. But what if that's not how it works at all?In this episode, Josiah walks through one of the earliest stories in the Bible, where Abraham is told to leave everything familiar without being told where he's going. Not as a punishment, but as the starting point of a real relationship with God. This conversation explores why purpose often feels unclear, why we want answers before trust, and why waiting for certainty might actually be the thing holding you back.
How do you actually know if God is first in your life? Well, the answer is a test.In this episode, Josiah walks through one of the most controversial stories in the Bible, where Abraham is asked to give up the thing he loves most. Not to show blind obedience, but to reveal something deeper about how faith actually works. Why the biggest spiritual moments often feel like tension and how to tell what you truly trust. If you've ever felt like following God doesn't make sense, or like He's asking too much, this conversation is for you.
Let's listen as Pastor Bryan unpacks Genesis 19. This may indeed look like a bleak story but it is full of God's mercy. Here we unpack four dramatic scenes that show the importance of keeping our eyes on Jesus through the windshield of life instead of trying to "walk into resurrection life while staring into yesterday's mirror." -Featuring Bryan

God makes Abraham a promise. Abraham believes it. And then Abraham and Sarah decide to help God out a little, just to make sure it actually happens. What follows is one of the messiest, most relatable moments in the entire Bible, and honestly, most of us are living our own version of it right now. This week Isaac walks through what happens when faith turns into control, why the things we add to God to feel more secure are usually the exact things making us miserable, and what it means that in the middle of all that chaos, God shows up specifically for the person nobody else was paying attention to.
What is Included in the Blessing of Abraham? (PART 2)What does it actually mean to live under the Blessing of Abraham? Is it just a spiritual idea?Or does it include real, tangible promises for today? In this teaching, we break down what Scripture says is included in the Blessing of Abraham and how it applies to believers in Christ.

Pastor Roger unpacks chapter 18 looking at Abraham as a friend of God. What does it take to have such a relationship with our Lord and Savior? Abraham embraced the unexpected, displayed humility, and served. Thankfully, Jesus calls us friends (John 15:15) by grace and through faith. -Featuring Roger Hirth

Many of us have a version of spiritual anxiety we don't talk about. The fear that if we're not doing enough, believing hard enough, or living right enough and God is going to reject us. This week, Josiah goes back to one of the oldest stories in the Bible and finds an answer that most people completely miss."In this message, I borrowed heavily from two messages that have deeply impacted me: the first is from Pastor Tim Keller in his teachings on Genesis 15. The second was from Pastor Dan Gregory in a message he gave at Momentum Youth Conference on John 8. I would HIGHLY recommend you listen to these on your own! I attached them below." - JosiahTim Keller - https://gospelinlife.com/sermon/abraham-and-the-fire/Dan Gregory - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKmVgEdlLcA&t=1961s
Pastor Bryan discusses several faithful choices Abram made in Genesis 13-14. A big idea of his sermon is that "every decision you make reveals your allegiance." That is, our decisions show which king we're aligned with. We should be aligned to the right King, Jesus! The King of Peace and Righteousness. Like Abram, lets renounce "Sodom" and receive "Salem." -Featuring Bryan Ost

This week, Pastor Roger kicks off Part 2 of our series in Genesis, Abraham. He looks at God's call to Abram to leave his city and family and go to the land God will show him. Instead of going all the way, he settles with his father and family in Haran, on the border of the promised land. Tune is as we see the importance of obedience to God's call and the benefits of humility as we walk with Him. -Featuring Roger Hirth
Abraham's death in Genesis 25 reveals uncomfortable truths about his complex life, including multiple relationships and children beyond Isaac and Ishmael. Rather than diminishing his legacy, these details remind us that even faithful people are deeply flawed and need God's grace. Abraham's story teaches us three universal human needs: remission for our sins, reconciliation in our broken relationships, and resurrection hope beyond death. Despite his imperfections, Abraham maintained faith in God's greater plan and looked forward to the coming of Christ. His legacy challenges us to live with honest self-awareness while trusting in divine grace and working toward reconciliation in our own relationships.
In this messsage, we explore the fourth altar that Abraham built in Genesis 22. The Altar of Submission is the place where Abraham laid down what he loved most, where God revealed His heart for life, and where surrender always comes before provision.
