Yaa from Atlanta Georgia, asked: “How do I overcome a mental block when writing copy for my sales letter/funnel?” My first answer is a question, “did you have coffee?” haha If no, that always helps get the creative juices flowing… Also sometimes music helps me too. But for more practical and actionable steps, this is what you can do: Write a list of questions relating to what you are selling or offering. Now you can have a friend get on a Zoom call with you, and ask you these questions 1 by 1 and answer these just like you would in a conversation, like in an interview. Have the zoom call recorded. Or you can pick up your phone and just record yourself answer one by one. Example of questions: 1. Who is your ideal client? 2. What are the 3-5 biggest struggles your ideal client has? 3. How would working with you help solve those struggles? 4. What is your core offer? Describe the product or explain the process. 5. What are the primary emotional benefits that have tended to resonate the most with customers? 6. What makes you different from other competitors in your niche? 7. What is NOT your ideal client and you want to exclude from targeting if possible. 8. If you had 60 seconds to sell someone on why your ideal customer should absolutely work with you… Once you’ve done that and have the recording, you need to simply get these recordings (or interview) transcribed. Episode 3: “What are your thoughts on membership (training/education) sites?”

Vianney from the UK asked, “What are your thoughts on (training/education) membership sites? To summarize Eran’s answer: I do NOT recommend it, it is a bad idea. Think about all the major training/education membership sites out there: Audible, Blinkist, MentorBox, Linked-In Learning, these are massive and require large capital investment as well as enormous amount of content to justify an individual remaining subscribed. The churn rate vs. the cost to acquire a customer simply won’t make sense. You are better off using your content creation to charge a higher one-time fee (numbers explained in the Podcast) as you are more certain to make this a profitable venture (i.e. selling info products, and/or coaching, and/or done-for-you services). What you can and should focus on subscription or membership type income (residual) would be things that are really difficult to actually pause and the customer is well and truly locked in to that subscription to a large extent. For example: I am a marketer. I will forever need an email autoresponder. I will forever need domain/hosting. I will forever need a platform to host my online courses and digital/info-products. These are subscriptions I will be paying for a long, long time. Many businesses and entrepreneurs are in a similar boat. Leverage these affiliate program to create passive income (that’s what I do). Episode 2: “How to start creating YouTube videos?”

Avi from India asked, “I want to ask you how should I make online videos for YouTube, Facebook and insta. I have wanted to for a very long time but haven’t started. I don’t know how to make good quality videos”  To summarize Eran’s answer: There are really 3 questions in this 1 questions so I will just answer the YouTube aspect first, and I’ll answer FB and IG in separate episodes. - When you start you have zero subscribers. So, the best thing about getting started is your embarrassing videos will mainly be seen by close friends or your mom. Don’t worry about being a disaster at first. The purpose of getting started and putting out content is simply finding your voice and style so you’re comfortable. - Camera. So I use MacBook Air to record training tutorials (screen recordings). I use iPhone X to record any other videos of me talking, white board training videos, and pretty much anything else. Once you record with iPhone, use AirDrop to transfer it to the laptop, and upload to YouTube. - YouTube channel should have a purpose in mind, a strategy. o Entertainment o Education (screen recording or white board) o Traffic - What niche are you choosing, what are you trying to appeal to. But don’t complicate this or use this as an excuse to STARTING. - Be authentic. The right people will connect with you and engage with you if you’re authentic. - YouTube is a search engine. People go on YouTube and search for things and you wanted to be found. The way to be found is through either paid advertising (Google Ads) or YouTube SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which can be its own question and topic! Darla, from the US, Indiana asked: “What is the various forms of advertising I should use to start my new land based business.  What social media should I use?” The niche is “Alternative health”. Darla does not have a website, and is currently doing training to get certified and that would be done in October. To summarize Eran’s answer: • Create a Facebook business page and go live daily giving few minutes value based on what you are currently learning to start building an audience. Create a FB group. • The strategy for any freelance business: (a) acquire a customer; (b) over deliver; (c) testimonial; (d) upsell and/or referral; (e) repeat • Go on meetup.com and search for events in your niche. Attend these events with your business cards and start networking that way. Channel people to your FB page and FB group. • Do a “Power list”, as covered in the book “Sell or be sold” from Grant Cardone and find a customer or ask for referrals that way this is your warm market. • Build a relationship with these clients so you can find out what else you can do to serve them and find out opportunities to increase the lifetime value of that customer on that service or another.
