Exit Plan

Exit Plan is the story or rather collected journals of a nameless man who lives in Australia and has to deal with some threat or confrontation left unsaid so far. He has released his audio journals to provide information and context around what he has to do and to explain his situation. Is this for real or it is just an urban fantasy delivered in character? I don’t know.In this first episode we meet the unnamed Australian IT professional struggling to come to terms with some violent and frightening confrontation. His first journals appear mundane but reveal a personality wracked with arrogance and narcissism interspersed with far more humble but stressed interludes.I was contacted anonymously to edit and post this podcast. I’ve called it Exit Plan. My instructions were to download individual audio files and stitch them together. I added some theme music to the front because that’s the way serialised fiction podcasts are presented I guess. I wasn’t given any particular instructions except to stress that this is real and not fiction. But I find that hard to believe. Still I do as I am paid to do.

The narrator attempts to quit his job but finds it a bit more difficult than he thought. We learn about what fate is to befall his friends if he doesn't go through with the game launch and death match.

The narrator wakes from a drunken bender to Beatrice knocking on his door. After a big breakfast and a rousing talk, the narrator picks himself up and tries to recover the books he sold to the collector. Shilpah has to die.

The narrator seeks wisdom from his books and sets out to confront Shilpah and bring an end to his anxiety one way or another. He has a plan, a rubbish one, but a plan and friends by his side. Who will die tonight?

We learn the outcome of the final battle with the Rakshasa and discover what the future may hold.

Exit Plan is the continuing story of a nameless Australian who, having overcome a dangerous foe, sets out to establish a security consultancy specialising in the supernatural. In the course of his endevours he recalls a mysterious message left by the woman who betrayed him indicating an old friend thought dead may still be alive.This, the opening episode of season 2, picks up directly where season 1 left off with our heroes taking on their first job as Exit Plan Security. They travel to Sydney to investigate a construction site plagued by sabotage.

Exit Plan discusses the situation with gnomes in Sydney and enters the tunnels to confront them. But how do you get rid of gnomes?

How do you recruit for a security firm that specialises in the supernatural? The unnamed narrator interviews potential new recruits and discovers one of them might not be all they seem.

Imperial Iron have a little mystery to solve. Exit Plan Security arrive on site where one worker has been beaten and a previous security contractor chewed on and drowned. After staking out Maria Antony, the narrator waits for Beatrice to show. Beatrice makes the narrator promise to bring a necklace with him to the hospital where Heidi is about to awaken from a coma. Margardiel, the demon who has dominated Beatrice, will be there.

The unnamed narrator has a dinner date with Sasha but Beatrice has ideas of her own. Why is she interrupting things?

A visit with John and Tony and a box of good news somehow leads to the end of Exit Plan Security for good? How is The Blooming Tree involved?

When B turns up at Maria Antony and makes a proposal, the narrator is taken aback. Left with no other options he takes drastic action.

The narrator is intent on boarding a bus to the middle of nowhere to hide out but Margardiel has other plans. Sasha swoops in and reveals where she has been. Is she telling the truth?

The narrator returns to his lodgings to retrieve his books and equipment. But what will be waiting for him on his return to the warehouse where Sasha and Beatrice are? Something is wrong.

The narrator, Beatrice and Sasha pay a visit to the State Library to find Mary who has offered sanctuary, whatever that means. Far from finding safety the team must fight for their lives.

What next for the narrator and his allies? He sits in an empty church waiting for Mary but how can he fight a demon? Will he fight a demon?

The narrator hangs out in front of his office, hidden in an alley. While observing the vast number of possessed who are keeping an eye out for him, he encounters something far beyond his ability to handle.

After being captured in a police raid, the narrator considers his future while tied up in the boot of a car driving into the bush.

After being inspired by his experience in the spirit world while escaping from Margardiel, the narrator calls in his friends to help almost kill him.

The final plan is put into action and the team confront Margardiel but is it for the last time?
