At a certain moment in his life, the idea came to him of what he called "the love of your fate." Whatever your fate is, whatever the hell happens, you say, "This is what I need." It may look like a wreck, but go at it as though it were an opportunity, a challenge. If you bring love to that moment — not discouragement — you will find the strength is there. Any disaster you can survive is an improvement in your character, your stature, and your life. What a privilege! Send us a textWhat does it really take to break free from toxic relationship patterns and transform your pain into purpose? Aneta Waclaw's journey offers a roadmap for anyone stuck in cycles of unhealthy connections. From the outside, Aneta's life in Chicago looked perfect—pursuing her dream career as a hairstylist. But beneath the surface, she struggled with poor self-image and found herself in a marriage that slowly dismantled her sense of self. "He hated how I looked, how I dressed, how I talked, who I hung out with—everything," she reveals about her ex-husband. "I truly had to lose myself to find myself again."Her healing journey wasn't instant. Even after divorce at 23, she continued attracting toxic patterns until making the radical decision to move abroad where nobody knew her. This brave step became the foundation for profound inner work that eventually led to her creating the "Nourished from Inside Out" podcast and writing "Blooming with Self-Love," a positive affirmations and gratitude journal.Aneta shares practical wisdom on rebuilding self-confidence through daily mirror work, setting boundaries to protect your peace, and recognizing relationship red flags. Perhaps most powerfully, she reframes personal struggles as purposeful stepping stones: "Your challenges, there's purpose in them. You just have to look a little deeper to see the positive side." Her final advice? "Always date yourself. Be your best friend, be your best date." This conversation offers hope that no matter how broken you feel, healing and finding your purpose are always possible.Want to be a guest on Living the Dream with Curveball? Happy Spring!Beef: Warmer weather has jump-started the beef market, with strip loins and ribeyes seeing a price surge. Production is inching up, but inventories remain tight, and thin meats like flanks, sirloin flaps, and skirts will rise through Cinco de Mayo. Outside of grinds moving lower, waiting to buy could mean paying more later.Poultry: Chicken wings are dropping in price, while breasts continue to climb, and tenders remain steady. Production is up 3% from last year, but the hatch rate has dipped below the ideal 80%. Despite 11 new avian flu cases affecting 1.8 million birds – mostly egg layers – egg prices are still decreasing.Grains: Grain markets are steady, with corn up slightly and soy and wheat holding firm. Concerns are rising over U.S. export fees, which could impact shipments to China and disrupt commodity exports.Pork: Pork bellies dropped again to $137 from last week's $145, with more potential downside ahead. Loins remain a great value, while butts are holding steady after recent price increases.Savalfoods.com | Find us on Social Media: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn

After the BIg Wigs live show last week at City Winery, the girls are back in studio to recap the Knockouts festival. Anna's rocking a raspy low tone on the show after talking for seven hours straight on two different panels while Dre spent the weekend house hunting with her parents all around Jersey. The Big Wig Bites segment is sooo back with a Hillstone Osaka style pressed sushi shoutout. Plus Dre tries Outback Steakhouse for the first time and gives her review of the blooming onion…because obviously. Also Wendy Williams drops a handwritten note from her window and plans to stop by The View on Friday for a TV appearance. Lady Gaga is back on SNL, Kylie and Timmy C popped up at Indian Wells and Bianca Censori may or may not be roller-skating to work fully naked (??). Rihanna just gave birth to her second baby in pearls and Celine sunnies, naturally. Over in reality tv land, The Traitors crowned a winner and Anna debriefs on the Love Is Blind Reunion.
