The MATC Virtual Campus is a virtual representation of physical rooms and departments that assist students, prospective students and the community. It's design, graphics and animation not only assist visitors in their navigation of the colleges information, services and resources, but closely resembles our physical campus and the campus experience. Current MATC students studying Animation, Television and Video Production, and Marketing are collaborating and assisting on various aspects of this project.

Co-founder of the annual Green Sustainability Summit, Dr. George Stone is a passionate advocate of the environment and green sustainable living. He shares how technology not only adds to our knowledge about the environment, but also how technology and innovation assist us in monitoring and the detection of environmental changes.
Using learning grant funds, Tom Olson and program faculty have intertwined tablet technology into the entire curriculum of the MATC Machining program. Students surpass textbook knowledge and are enriched in many facets of their learning experience, for example communication between the teacher and student increased and is more efficient both inside and outside of the classroom.
While still in a safe academic environment and under the direction of faculty like Stephanie McKennie, MATC Nursing students experience simulated real life-patient experiences.
Larry Domine of MATC's Information Technology shares how social media, collaborative software and augmented reality experiences are giving students new opportunities to discover the world around them in new ways. He includes explanations and examples of how he applies these technologies in his own teaching.
Armen Hadjanian, author of the Entrepreneurs Launch Guide wants to make sure his students know what not to do as well as what to do. Human resource students use industry-wide SAP integrated software in our state-of-the-art lab. offers students real-world scenarios in a learning atmosphere. MATC has articulation agreements with four-year colleges that accept up to 65 MATC credits towards their four-year degree.
Using virtualization technology, MATC instructors have created a standardized network environment, as well as written from scratch lab scenarios and network documentation. This environment allows instructors to easily simulate real-world scenarios into their exercises and documentation and students love that they are saving money by not purchasing a textbook! Because the virtual environment, lab scenarios and documentation have been customized and written from scratch, updating will be much easier as this cutting-edge industry changes.
