Stepping out of my comfort zone always posed a challenge for me. 25 years ago, getting pregnant, forced me to enroll in college in order to provide a better life for my little girl. High school left some terrible scars and left me terrified of returning to school but I did it anyway and found that I loved learning and excelled at my higher education. This week those terrifying feelings returned as I left my family to venture out on my own.
