Since the quarantine, Wes and his friends were missing the song swaps and open mics that were a mainstay in the music scene in south Florida. In an effort to help keep Luna Star open during the pandemic, he came up with the idea of doing a Virtual open mic…The QuaranTUNE open mic show.  With each artist contributing one song , then assembling a show and running it as a live event on facebook, The Luna Star Café has been able to stay open with all the generous donations.
