ഒരിക്കൽ ഒരു കാട്ടിൽ രണ്ട് ചങ്ങാതിമാർ പാർത്തിരുന്നു, ഒരാൾ ഒരു ചീങ്കണ്ണിയും, മറ്റെയാൾ ഒരു കുരങ്ങും. അവർ വളരെ യഥാർത്ഥ ചങ്ങാതിമാരായിരുന്നു. കാട്ടിൽ ഒരു നദിയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ചീങ്കണ്ണി ആ നദിയിലും, കുരങ്ങൻ അതിന് ചുറ്റുമുള്ള കാട്ടിലുമാണ് വസിച്ചിരുന്നത്. എല്ലാ ദിവസവും വൈകുന്നേരങ്ങളിൽ അവർ തമ്മിൽ കാണുമായിരുന്നു. നദിയുടെ കരയിൽ ഒരു അത്തിമരം നില്പുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കുരങ്ങൻ എന്നും നദിക്കരയിൽ വന്ന് ആ അത്തിമരത്തിൽ കയറും. ഈ സമയം ചീങ്കണ്ണി കരയിൽ വന്ന് കുരങ്ങനോടൊപ്പം പാകമായ അത്തിപ്പഴം കഴിച്ചിരുന്നു. പോകുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് കുരങ്ങൻ കുറേ അത്തിപ്പഴം പറിച്ച് തന്റെ ചങ്ങാതിയുടെ ഭാര്യക്കുവേണ്ടി നൽകുമായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്രകാരം രണ്ട് ചങ്ങാതിമാരും വളരെ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ ജീവിച്ചുപോന്നു. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/podcast100/message
