Hello friends, and welcome to the last episodeof 2025 on Bharatiya Junta Podcast. As we stand at the edge of another year, I wanted to take amoment to speak with you, as one person trying to make sense of these times to another doing the same. Firstly, happy new year and for most part that is all I have to say to you, hope you have a good one. You can switch off now if you want to because from here on everything I say will probably only be a different way to wish you a better upcoming year. But if you are invested either in commuting or cooking or working out stay with me for a bit.
Barney Shynkaruk hosted this Wednesday's Edition of the SportsCage, the last of 2025! We had an abridged SJHL Report with Benny Walchuk and some Happy New Year's Wishes from SportsCage's Contributors.
"Don't confuse sacrifice and discipline with suffering." Ryan Clark Where did the time go? 2025 is wrapping up as we get ready to embrace the new endeavors, challenges and our biggest pivots that lie ahead in 2026! Ryan, Channing and Fred close out the year reflecting on the past 12 months of sports' biggest stories, headlines that dominated our feeds and personal milestones we embraced. We take account of our own self growth, missteps and ways we want to be better going forward knowing that perfection is an illusion, discipline and sacrifice are required for success and we take deep dive into the chaotic sports world. FBI takes on sports gambling, Luka trade to Dallas, Micah Parsons to Green Bay, Kansas City misses post season, Travis Kelce, Shedeur Sanders frenzy and the fall of Sean Diddy Combs...2025 had it's share of the unexpected and we discuss the impact of it all while the guys keep it real on the current state of the NFL. Channing says how the AFC North isn't what it used to be, Ryan says DK Metcalf incident could cost the Steelers their season and Fred weighs in on the possible end of the Chiefs dynasty. Pivoting to family, we talk about the vulnerable sides of parenting, from walking the line between wanting the best for our kids to pushing them too hard and how in the end happiness is the only true measure of how it turns out. Avoiding to set goals isn't always a bad thing while giving ourselves grace to make mistakes is how we've learned best. We also have a little fun talking about some viral fun scenarios and how we would respond to a wife's last wishes of a "casket pass". Pivot Family thank you for all the support, all the comments, the likes and follows- being on this journey with us means the world and we look forward to bringing more impactful conversations, stories and authentic content in 2026- Happy New Year, may it be filled with good health, family, memories and happiness. Regular study of the Bible and the New Testament helps you to understand the character, teachings, and promises of Jesus, which is the basis of Christian hope. When our faith has been tested and triumphant through hardship and perseverance in the face of suffering, it is possible to have real hope for the future and the salvation and eternal reward and promises of Christ. Jesus Christ said: "But he who endures to the end, he will be saved." That is, the best are on the way. Every teaching of Jesus Christ contains indirect references to hope, when he told his disciples: Do not be anxious about the future, because their future is in the hands of a merciful God who loves them. I wish that along with the cold days of winter in the new year, the joy and enthusiasm of life in you will double by accepting and inviting Jesus Christ into your heart, and thus begin a new life with both your outer and inner nature. Prayer is talking to God, a way to express your worries, fears and desires. Prayer can strengthen the feeling of closeness and dependence on a higher power and brings peace. So, like Moses, may our hands always be raised to God so that He may give us victory and hope in this difficult time and despair.
At this time of year we contemplate where we have been and where we are going. In the gap between Christmas and New Year's Jeff and Mark discuss their wishes for countries, individuals and people in general for 2026.... Have a Happy New Year!

On today's episode, Dr. Mark Costes sits down with longtime friend and CPA Chris Sands to unpack one of the most overlooked expenses in dental practices—credit card processing fees. In this insightful interview, recorded in the brand-new DSI studio, Chris shares why he co-founded Crown Card Services after noticing rising, unregulated merchant fees across hundreds of dental clients in his accounting firm. He breaks down exactly how merchant processors operate, why "price creep" is so common, and how practices can save tens or even hundreds of thousands annually with the right setup. Mark and Chris also explore PCI compliance junk fees, legally implementing surcharges, integration myths, and why poor merchant service can directly impact your revenue. If you're looking to improve margins, grow your practice value, or just understand the back-end of your collections a bit better, this episode is packed with actionable gems. ‘Tis the season to talk about "‘tis" and "‘twas" and, while we're at it, "hap."
Every tabletop RPG player has had this thought at some point: "If I had one Wish, I could fix everything." And every Dungeon Master has had the immediate follow-up thought: "If you cast Wish, I'm fixing you." In this episode, the RPGBOT crew tackles the most powerful spell in the game—the one that can rewrite reality, end campaigns, summon divine attention, and turn a carefully planned epic into a rules argument that lasts longer than combat at level 17. Whether you're wishing for ultimate power, infinite gold, or just a snack because the barbarian is bored, we're here to explain how Wish actually works… and why your DM is already sweating. Wish is the most powerful spell in tabletop roleplaying games—and one of the most dangerous. In this episode of the RPGBOT.Podcast, we break down how Wish works across Dungeons & Dragons 3.5e, D&D 5e (2014 and 2024), Pathfinder 1e, and Pathfinder 2e, including its lore, mechanics, exploits, and why so many Game Masters fear it. We explore how Wish can replicate spells, rewrite reality, override divine power, and derail entire campaigns if mishandled. The discussion covers infamous loopholes like simulacrum chains, genie-granted wishes, ritual casting in Pathfinder 2e, and why Wish is often the reason high-level campaigns fall apart. Finally, we offer practical GM advice for handling Wish without ruining your game—whether you want it as a campaign capstone, a narrative ritual, or a controlled tool of world-changing magic. Show Notes In this episode of the RPGBOT.Podcast, the hosts take an in-depth look at Wish, the iconic reality-altering spell that defines high-level play in Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder. Often called the most powerful spell ever printed, Wish allows characters to replicate spells, heal allies, undo actions, reshape the world, and even challenge the gods themselves—at a steep narrative and mechanical cost. The episode begins with the lore of Wish, including its emergence after the fall of Netheril and its relationship to lost 10th-level magic. The hosts then compare how Wish functions mechanically across editions, from the expensive, tightly worded versions in D&D 3.5e and Pathfinder 1e, to the flexible but risky spellcasting in D&D 5e, and finally the radically redesigned Pathfinder 2e Wish ritual, which introduces casting time, interference, ritual checks, and failure states. A major focus is why Wish is so controversial for Game Masters. The discussion covers campaign-breaking outcomes, narrative paradoxes, infamous exploits like infinite simulacrum armies, and why many tables restrict or ban the spell outright. The hosts also examine genie-granted wishes, highlighting how Pathfinder 2e adds unique wish interpretations based on genie type—ranging from diplomatic and literal to malicious and destabilizing. The episode concludes with practical GM advice on how to handle Wish responsibly: limiting it to core effects, telegraphing consequences, using rituals instead of instant casting, and reframing Wish as a dramatic story event rather than an "I win" button. Key Takeaways Wish is widely considered the most powerful spell in tabletop RPGs, capable of rewriting reality itself. Different systems handle Wish very differently, with Pathfinder 2e's ritual system offering the strongest structural safeguards. In D&D 5e, spell duplication is the safest use of Wish; creative uses risk permanent loss of the spell. Wish is a major reason many GMs avoid or limit high-level campaigns. Genie-granted wishes introduce flavorful but dangerous interpretations, especially in Pathfinder 2e. Successful use of Wish requires clear GM communication, narrative foreshadowing, and player trust. Okay, we made it! WHEW. Welcome to the final episode of I Hate It Here for 2025, which feels both celebratory and mildly unhinged. This episode is me doing what I do best: yappin with people I deeply admire and respect, asking them about their wishes for HR in 2026…while also openly admitting that I'm lowkey a little scared of what's coming next. The market is weird AF, recruiters are exhausted, candidates are frustrated, and the tools are absolutely not keeping up! But instead of spiraling alone (okay, spiraling less), I wanted to end the year by bringing some of my fav people together, because the only reason I'm still standing in this job is community, collective honesty, and the belief that if we keep talking about what's actually happening, HR might just survive, and maybe even win. Teamtailor is the fun, intuitive ATS that candidates actually like and recruiters don't dread opening on Monday mornings. In this New Year's Eve episode of Back on the Broomstick, the witches gather in the space between the year that has been and the year that is about to be. This is a liminal space between the old and the new. Laylla and Chelle talk about why setting intentions often feels more powerful and sustainable than making resolutions, and how choosing a single power word for the year ahead can act as a magical anchor when the road gets twisty. The witches also touch on the currently popular 13 Wishes spell (sometimes called or Rauhnächte) and how it fits into New Year and liminal space magic. Laylla offers a slightly revised version of the working, thoughtfully adapted to better suit Chelle's limited attention span and real-world witchcraft needs, proving once again that magic works best when it's practical, flexible, and personal. They also share a reflective tarot spread designed to look back at the year that's ending, helping you name what you're ready to leave behind, what still needs tending, and what lessons are coming with you into the new cycle. It's a gentle, honest way to close the year without rushing or forcing transformation before it's ready. As the clock ticks toward midnight, the witches take time to thank their listeners and benefactors for another deeply witchy year of community, curiosity, laughter, and shared magic. Light a candle, pull a card, and step with intention into the threshold of the new year.Got a question? Send the witches a message here!Support the showWant to send us a letter? In this episode of The World of Wishes Podcast we meet wish alumnus Lauren Potter. A top junior Olympian at 13, Lauren was a relentless competitor—until a rare, unnamed autoimmune disease left her gasping for breath. After months in Boston Children's Hospital and six rounds of chemotherapy, she chose hope over fear. When her doctor recommended Make‑A‑Wish, Lauren celebrated her recovery with an active, adventurous wish: surfing her first wave on Waikiki Beach, ATV trails through Kualoa Ranch, ziplining across thousand‑foot valleys, and a sunset on the North Shore that felt like peace. Years later, she committed to Yale volleyball, mentored other pulmonary patients, thanked her wish sponsors from the stage, and found her career intersecting with our Miami home—the Finker‑Frenkel Wish House—bringing her journey full circle. In this episode, Lauren shares how positivity, family, and a single wish can fuel a decade of momentum—and why she proudly wears “Wish Kid” as a badge of honor. As the Winter Solstice approaches, we turn toward the wisdom that has guided humans through the longest nights for thousands of years. In this episode, we explore how ancestral ritual, especially fire-based and earth-centered practices, help us move through darkness with meaning. We reflect on the solstice not only as a moment of release, but as a threshold where something new begins to quietly stir. This conversation weaves together earth-based solstice traditions, the healing role of ritual in regulating the nervous system, and the deep resonance these practices hold for women in perimenopause—a life season that mirrors winter's invitation to slow, listen, and let go of what no longer fits. You'll hear about the Ritual of 13 Wishes, an old solstice practice that honors both surrender and intention, allowing us to release control while trusting what is meant to be carried forward into the year ahead. Rather than offering a “right way” to ritual, this episode invites you to listen—to your body, the land you live on, and the ancestral memory that still lives within you. If you're drawn to living in closer relationship with the seasons, your body, and your intuition, you're warmly invited to join the Wild & Rooted newsletter, where monthly reflections and seasonal practices continue this conversation.
