Mitch Wexler exposes what he calls the "biggest hidden financial time bomb in America"—a $5.1 trillion spiral of school district bond fraud. Speaking from the front lines of his legal crusade, Wexler details a system of inflated property appraisals and systemic over-taxation that is stripping equity from homeowners nationwide. He frames his battle in the Texas Supreme Court not as a local issue, but as a desperate fight for transparency against institutionalized fraud that dwarfs 2008. "Why do they want to prohibit discovery of the fraud?" he challenges. Wexler directly ties this local crisis to the broader erosion of confidence in fiat systems, arguing it makes physical precious metals the only true zero-counterparty-risk refuge.✅ FREE RESOURCESDownload The Private Wealth Playbook — a data-backed guide to strategically acquiring gold and silver for maximum protection, privacy, and performance. The universe is vast, mysterious, and constantly evolving. In this insightful astronomy podcast, we sit down with Dr. Sanjaya Poudel, an astronomer and researcher specializing in dwarf galaxies, dark matter, and galaxy formation. Originally from Nepal and currently a research professor at Yonsei University, South Korea, Dr. Poudel shares his journey into science, his fascination with astronomy, and how curiosity about the universe shaped his career. This episode dives deep into what the universe is, the Big Bang theory, and how our observable universe evolved over time. We explore complex yet fascinating ideas such as the flat universe vs curved universe, higher dimensions, and the expanding cosmos. Dr. Poudel explains dark matter, its role in galaxy evolution, and whether dwarf galaxies contain dark matter at all. A major focus of this astrophysics podcast is dwarf galaxies—their properties, formation, alignment around the Milky Way, and why they are considered the fundamental building blocks of the universe. We also discuss how astronomers observe galaxies using world-class telescopes like ESO-VLT, Gemini, VLA, and GMRT, and how astronomy drives technological development. Beyond space science, the conversation highlights challenges in science education and research in Nepal, the importance of promoting scientific thinking, and the future of astronomical research. This episode is perfect for anyone interested in cosmology explained, space science, and understanding how the universe truly works.

SpaceTime with Stuart Gary Gary - Series 29 Episode 10In this episode of SpaceTime, we explore groundbreaking developments in space exploration, including the imminent launch of the first nuclear-powered rocket, the merging of low mass dwarf galaxies, and the intriguing connection between Earth-like planets and gas giants. The Dawn of Nuclear Rocket TechnologyHistory is set to be made as NASA and DARPA prepare to test the world's first fully operational nuclear-powered orbital rocket. This innovative vehicle utilizes a nuclear thermal propulsion system that heats liquid hydrogen propellant through nuclear fusion, achieving nearly double the efficiency of conventional rockets. The test aims to validate reactor operation in orbit, potentially revolutionizing space travel by reducing transit times to Mars and allowing for larger payloads.Merging Dwarf Galaxies: A New DiscoveryA recent study published in the Astrophysical Journal Letters confirms that low mass dwarf galaxies can merge with one another. Observations of the Ursa Minor dwarf spheroidal galaxy reveal previously hidden stellar structures, suggesting that even the smallest galaxies experience mergers. These findings challenge traditional views on galaxy formation and evolution, indicating that interactions between dwarf galaxies may be more common than previously believed. The Connection Between Earth-Like and Gas Giant PlanetsAstronomers have found that rocky planets similar to Earth are more likely to exist in star systems that also contain large gas giants like Jupiter. This research, reported in Astronomy and Astrophysics, shows that cold Jupiters, which orbit beyond the snow line, play a significant role in the formation of super Earths in the inner regions of their planetary systems. The study offers new insights into the complex dynamics of planetary formation and the conditions that lead to the development of terrestrial planets.www.spacetimewithstuartgary.com✍️ Episode ReferencesAstrophysical Journal LettersAstronomy and AstrophysicsScience AdvancesBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/spacetime-your-guide-to-space-astronomy--2458531/support.(00:00:00) NASA and DARPA prepare to test the first nuclear-powered orbital rocket(00:10:15) New study confirms mergers among low mass dwarf galaxies(00:20:45) Link discovered between Earth-like planets and gas giants(00:30:00) China breaks through barriers in nuclear fusion reactor development(00:35:20) The impact of ultra-processed foods on global health.

After a quick flashback to Frodo murdering Grungus Took, the Fellowgroup settled into their camp on the road the Moria. Del slept off her navigation whiskey, Denethea expressed a romantic interest in Del, and Tyler confronted Denethea. The Gondorian confessed she was frustrated that she'd be good ruler if not for her illegitimate birth, so Tyler made a deal that if she helped the Fellowgroup and proved to be a good person, he'd marry her and let her rule. He lived in the desert of Skete (Scetis) in Egypt during the fourth century, the golden age of the Desert Fathers. Nothing is known of his life in the world. He spent many years as the disciple of Abba Ammoes, who was very severe with him. Once the Elder took a dry stick, stuck it in the sand, and commanded John to water it every day until it bore fruit. Though this was plainly impossible, John performed the task uncomplainingly, walking a great distance to fetch the water, for three years. At the end of that time, the stick bore fruit. Abba Ammoes brought it to church the following Sunday and called out to the brethren, "Come and eat the fruit of obedience!" Though he had never praised or thanked his disciple, before he died Abba Ammoes said of John, "He is an angel, not a man." After his elder's repose, Abba John withdrew further into the desert, devoting all his time to vigil and prayer. As he prayed he would weave baskets, which he sold to meet his few needs. Sometimes he was so rapt in prayer that he would keep weaving until the basket reached an absurd size, filling his cell. When, after many years, Abba John was delivered from all evil thoughts, Abba Poemen (commemorated August 27) told him to pray to God for another temptation to struggle against, for only in this way does the soul make progress. He rejoiced when he was insulted, was never known to be angry with anyone, and would run away as fast as he could if he ever saw men quarreling. He reposed in peace. "Pray earnestly with compunction and vigilance. Pay no attention to the faults of others. Do not measure yourself against other people, for you are lower than every creature." — Abba John the Dwarf

In this episode of SpaceTime, we explore a trio of intriguing astronomical phenomena that are reshaping our understanding of the cosmos.Interstellar Comet 3I Atlas: A Close EncounterInterstellar comet 3I Atlas has reached its perihelion, passing closest to the Sun without any signs of alien life forms, despite wild media speculation. This episode discusses how the comet maintained its expected trajectory and velocity, while also revealing groundbreaking findings from NASA's Swift Space Telescope, which detected ultraviolet signatures of water from the comet, providing new insights into the chemistry of interstellar objects and their potential to harbour the building blocks of life.A Colossal Gas Bridge Between Dwarf GalaxiesAstronomers have discovered a massive bridge of neutral hydrogen gas linking two dwarf galaxies, NGC 4532 and DDO 137, located approximately 53 million light years away. This remarkable structure spans an astonishing 185,000 light years and is accompanied by a vast tail of gas extending 1 million light years. The findings shed light on how galaxies interact and evolve, particularly in dense environments like the Virgo Cluster, and offer crucial insights into the dynamics of galactic gas and star formation.Volcanic Eruptions and Hidden Ice on MarsA new study suggests that explosive volcanic eruptions on ancient Mars may have transported water ice to the equatorial regions of the Red Planet. Using computer modelling, researchers propose that water vapour released during these eruptions could have frozen in the Martian atmosphere, leading to the accumulation of significant ice deposits. This discovery could have profound implications for future human exploration of Mars, as it raises questions about the availability of water resources in unexpected locations.www.spacetimewithstuartgary.com✍️ Episode ReferencesAstrophysical Journal Lettershttps://iopscience.iop.org/journal/2041-8205Nature Communicationshttps://www.nature.com/naturecommunications/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/spacetime-your-guide-to-space-astronomy--2458531/support.Interstellar Comet 3I Atlas: A Close EncounterA Colossal Gas Bridge Between Dwarf GalaxiesVolcanic Eruptions and Hidden Ice on Mars

In this episode of SpaceTime, we delve into the intriguing potential for life on the dwarf planet Ceres, explore NASA's latest mission to study the heliosphere, and celebrate the achievements of the University of Melbourne's Spirit Nanosat.Ceres: A Potentially Habitable World?Recent research published in Science Advances suggests that Ceres, currently a frigid and frozen world, may have once harboured conditions suitable for life. By modelling the planet's thermal and chemical history, scientists propose that Ceres could have sustained a long-lasting energy source, allowing for microbial metabolism. While there's no direct evidence of life, the findings indicate that Ceres had the necessary ingredients—water, carbon, and chemical energy—that could have supported single-celled organisms in its ancient past.Nasa's New Heliospheric MissionNASA has launched the Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP) to investigate the heliosphere, the magnetic bubble surrounding our solar system. This mission aims to enhance our understanding of solar wind and its interactions with interstellar particles, which are crucial for assessing space weather impacts on Earth. IMAP will operate alongside the Carruthers Geocorona Observatory and NOAA's Swifo L1 spacecraft, contributing to a comprehensive study of our solar environment.Spirit Nanosat's Milestone AchievementThe University of Melbourne's Spirit nanosatellite has successfully completed its initial mission phase, deploying its thermal management system and taking a selfie in space. Launched in December 2023, Spirit is equipped with a miniaturised gamma-ray detector to search for gamma-ray bursts, marking a significant advancement in small satellite technology and scientific exploration.www.spacetimewithstuartgary.com✍️ Episode ReferencesScience Advanceshttps://www.science.org/journal/sciadvNASA IMAP Missionhttps://www.nasa.gov/imapUniversity of Melbourne Spirit Nanosatellitehttps://www.unimelb.edu.au/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/spacetime-your-guide-to-space-astronomy--2458531/support.Ceres: A Potentially Habitable World?NASA's New Heliospheric MissionSpirit Nanosat's Milestone Achievement(00:00) New study claims the dwarf planet Ceres could once have been habitable enough for life(05:14) The Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe will study the heliosphere(15:58) New study finds tropical fish are colonising new habitats because of ocean warming(18:07) Khloe Kardashian reportedly claims she's seen UFOs and experienced paranormal activity

A third of a century ago, we knew of only two solar-system bodies beyond the orbit of Neptune: Pluto and its largest moon. Today, the known population of such bodies is in the thousands. And quite a few of them are in the same class as Pluto itself: dwarf planets. One of the newest members of that class is 2017 OF201. It was discovered in 2017. A recent study found that it may be about a third the size of Pluto. If so, then it most likely would qualify as a dwarf planet. The object follows a highly elongated orbit around the Sun. It ranges from about 45 times to 1600 times the distance from Earth to the Sun. And it takes almost 25,000 years to complete a single orbit. Today, it’s about 90 times the Earth-Sun distance, and moving outward. Before long, it’ll be so remote that not even the biggest telescopes can see it. Researchers say the object could be bad news for a possible Planet Nine. Studies of other objects in the outer solar system suggest that some of them may have been pushed around by the gravity of a much larger body. That body could be a planet roughly five to 10 times the mass of Earth, orbiting far from the Sun. But the orbit of 2017 OF201 shows no influence of such a planet. There’s a lot to be done to understand the orbits of the bodies in the outer solar system – and use them to pinpoint a possible planet far from the Sun. Script by Damond Benningfield
