It’s 1979, the lead guitarist of The Wide Eyed Boys, Eddie Allbright, and his supergroupie model wife, Lissy Ellery are one of the most famous and glamorous rock couples in the world. From the outside, their life looks like a dream, but behind closed doors too many drugs, too many affairs and too much black magic is creating a recipe that will either save them, or destroy them. An intimate look into the hedonistic life of a seventies rock band and their groupies, Rainbow Girl is for everyone who has ever wondered what it was really like to be with the band. A stand alone, set in the world of Jane Green's newest novel, Sister Stardust, Rainbow Girl mixes the glamor of The Rolling Stones with the partying of Studio 54, but can anything stop this marriage ending in a bloody, final mess. Ivy Insights

The Rainbow Girl podcast is an incredible audio experience that brings the characters and story of Jane Green's Sister Stardust to life in a whole new way. As a fan of the novel, I was thrilled to discover this podcast and it did not disappoint. The immersive audio quality truly captures the feeling of being present in the room with the characters as they navigate through the plot. From the very first episode, I was hooked and couldn't wait to listen to each installment.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is its unique format. Unlike traditional audiobooks or podcasts, The Rainbow Girl feels like you're watching a movie. The storytelling is excellent and keeps you on the edge of your seat, eager to know what happens next. Jane Green's talent shines through in her masterful creation of each character and their individual arcs. It's addicting to listen to and hard to stop once you start binging.

However, there are no worst aspects about this podcast that I can think of. It is a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Perhaps one minor point of criticism could be that episodes are released on a weekly basis, which may leave listeners impatiently waiting for each new release. But this can also be seen as a positive since it allows for anticipation and excitement between episodes.

In conclusion, The Rainbow Girl podcast is an absolute must-listen for fans of Jane Green's work or anyone looking for an intriguing audio adventure. The combination of captivating storytelling, immersive audio production, and talented voice actors make it a standout in the world of podcasts. I highly recommend giving it a listen - you won't be disappointed!
